^we were in SG over the new year's break. And yes maulan siya. My kids didn't get to enjoy USS that much. Aside from the rains, blockbuster ang pila. We had to line up for 3 hours for the transformers ride (we couldn't skip it cause my son was looking forward to this one). There was one point na gusto ko nang patulan ang fast pass even if that will mean additional 400sgd. So if budget permits, get a fastpass

My kids enjoyed more Legoland. It was raining too that day (Jan 1) but there weren't too many people. They even got to try the rides several times. Raincoats allowed us to roam around under the rain

Comparing the two parks, Legoland is smaller so it's not overwhelming. The rides too will appeal smaller kids (my kids are 8yo, 5yo and 3yo)

I checked our photos nung 2011, Sunday pala kami nag-USS tapos umulan the whole day haha hanggang hapon lang kami nun so umuwi na kami.

We plan on going on a Thursday para iwas sa tao plus walang holiday yung punta namin. I just hope the weather would cooperate.

Regarding the pass, may 2 kasi ako nakita:

1. Universal Express - SGD 30
2. Universal Express Unlimited - SGD 50

Yung Unlimited eh unlimited balik balik sa mga rides ano?

For Legoland, would adults enjoy this? Kasi nagtingin tingin ako ng mga reviews, puro bata nag-enjoy haha

^80 sgd yung sinabi sa akin nung lady sa counter. weird. but in the website nakalagay "starts from". i dont know what made the price jack up to 80sgd for us. for the universal express, you can only use the pass once per ride. mas sulit express unlimited.

we went to universal on a tuesday (Dec 29) pero ang dami pa ding tao. or maybe because the kids were on a school break. nag-last hurrah bago bumalik ng school.

re legoland, depende sa type ng adult. ako kasi i find the rides too tame. i like faster rides, tipong six flags. my husband enjoyed the Project X (rollercoaster) and the Aquazone. but then he's not really a big fan of rollercoasters. If ang habol mo is thrill rides, not a lot of choices in legoland.

^Perfect ata yung Legoland sa isa naming kasama haha Ayaw niya kasi sumakay sa Revenge of the Mummy so baka pwede siya sa mga rides dun.

Onga, weird. Kasi dun sa website ng USS pwede ka bumili at yan lang yung prices dun. Sabi ko sa mga kasama ko dun nalang mag-decide kung mag-pass pa depende sa dami ng tao. May plan na nga kami anong unahin para lang masulit yung USS di tulad nung dati talaga na Lights, Camera, Action at yung carousel lang nasakyan namin haha!!!

^We will be purchasing sa Asiatravel website. May mga package kasi sila dun like USS + Gardens by the Bay Ok na ba dun?

I'm not so sure if cheaper with Asia travel. We got ours from Cebu air travel and tours at Lucky Plaza. For your reference so you can compare (sorry... I don't have the exact breakdown per ticket price)

1) USS - 232 sgd (2 adults, 2 children...includes 2x 5sgd meal voucher, 2x 5sgd merchandise vouchers, 2 Segway ride tickets)

2) Gardens 2 domes + Sky Park + river explorer - 208 sgd (for 2 adults and 3 children)

3) Singapore flyer - 116 sgd (2 adults, 3 children these are non-peak tickets. Peak hours are more expensive)

4) night safari - 140 sgd (2 adults, 3 kids)

5) Legoland - 204 sgd (2 adults, 3 kids)

^yes. Mahanap mo lang yung lucky plaza, it's easy to find the travel agency. Check their Facebook too for the current rates. What I like about this is you get the physical tickets. No need to fall in line.

Ok ang quotation nila and since first day namin plan mag-ikot ikot sa Orchard, might as well get it from them.

USS - SGD 45 (included free SIM)
Gardens by the Bay - SGD 20 (2 conservatories)

Cheaper than getting it at Asiatravel which is SGD 88 na. Sayang yung SGD 3, pang ice cream din yun haha!!!

However, we might get the Legoland with Transfer sa Asiatravel para di na kami ma-hassle mag-isip paano pumunta at bumalik. The transfer is in SG Flyer. Nasa SGD 78 siya.

Try going to orchard in your first day and go to lucky plaza, you can walk from orchard mrt na Cebu travels and tours is on the 3F

3rd day (Fri) - Marina, Merlion, Gardens by the Bay
4th day (Sat) - Legoland
5th day (Sun) - last day pero gabi pa flight namin

Last time we were in SG (same companions), napuntahan namin SG Zoo, SG Flyer, USS, Sentosa and Merlion. Nag-iikot ikot din kami sa Orchard and Marina Bay.

Ngayon, wala na kami masyado maisip puntahan aside sa ibang bagong attractions at yung USS nga dahil di namin na-enjoy dati yun. Na-realized ko na Sunday pa kami nagpunta nun haha

My companion wants na Friday namin gawin yung Legoland. Ok naman sa akin kasi di naman ako mabilis mapagod. Pero baka kasi magreklamo sa pagod kaya I suggested Saturday.

Tapos nalaman ko na weekend sa Johor Bahru eh Fri-Sun na pala. That's for public sector. Walang holiday during our trip, both SG or Malaysia. Weekend lang talaga siguro kalaban namin sa Legoland.

hi mga sis, pa feedback naman on our iti we'll be in sg on january 15-18. 5 girls kami, isa dun my 70-yr old mother, okay pa naman siya sa mga lakaran kaso ayaw ko naman siya masyado pagurin. kaya gusto ko sana medyo light na iti lang pero yung marami din naman mapupuntahan. ako palang nakapunta sa sg before, the rest of them are first timers kaya gusto ko rin masulit din sana nila.

day1 - 9.30am arrival. hotel checkin, merlion, mbs -gardens by the bay (isang ticket lang ba dito tapos mapupuntahan na lahat -dome, light show, cloud forest, etc).
day2 - uss, wings of time
day3 - sentosa ulit, trickeye, sky luge, sea aquarium
day4 - 11am hotel checkout, bugis area, orchard. flight is 9pm pa.

mas okay ba if taxi mode of transpo namin instead of mrt? masyado ba mahal? tapos lima nga pala kami so lagi kaming 2 taxis?

^I can only answer a few of your questions

Gardens by the Bay tickets - covered yung 2 conservatories. Different ticket yung kasama si OCBC Skyway

As for the transpo, alam ko 4 lang pwede sa taxi nila. So kung 5 kayo, 2 taxis nga yan.

Where maganda mag pa money change from peso to sgd, here sa ph or sa singapore na? Can anyone suggest a money changer? My flight to Singapore is on Monday na, and i am staying at Tiong Bahru i got a flat there kasi i am staying for a week. Mas maganda if flat shoes and sneakers lang dalhin ko rather than wearing heels no? Where can i get a beep card in SG, can i possibly get one sa airport? And last question, do they have like grab car or uber around the airport? Thanks! Please enlighten me!

^From what I've read, Czarina's if dito sa Philippines. May limit sa paglabas ng peso from the country (10k ba yon?) so careful lang kung sa SG mo gusto magpapalit. Kapag dun, exchange a bit sa airport, then People's Park in Chinatown alam ko doon may magandang rates.

Not sure about Uber/Grab sa airport, I take the taxi na lang kasi from the airport, madali naman sumakay, but not sure ako about the fare difference.

We had money exchanged at lucky plaza at a money changer recommended by the agent at Cebu air travel and tours. I can't remember anymore the name but it's at the basement (same level as Mcdo). Exchange rate is better than the money exchanger at Robinson's Galleria.

You may exchange 50-100sgd at the money changer at the airport and go to lucky plaza and Shop around for best rates tell them how much you're exchanging for and ask for best offer


If you're a group of 5 adults, 2 taxis. If group of 4 adults and 1 kid, you may try grab car and write in the notes number of pax personally, I prefer grab at, comes out cheaper than the cab especially during peak hours
