Hi!

My bf and I are planning to go to Singapore for our honeymoon pero we don't want to spend too much on our accommodation. Ask ko lang anong recommended hotels niyo na malapit sa MRT? Okay ba yung Hotel 81 saka Fragrance Hotels? Budget kasi namin is maximum of 15K for 4 nights so around 3500 per night.

^ Park View Hotel on Beach Road sis. We paid 280.50 SGD for 3 nights last month. With breakfast na yan.  It's walking distance from the Bugis MRT station at may buses na dumadaan in front of the hotel mismo.

^^5footwayinn. its a boutique hotel that has dorm rooms and also private ones. we paid 270sgd for 3 nights, deluxe double room, private bath, with simple breakfast. they have a lot of branches but we stayed in project bugis. personally liked this location coz the train station(nicholl highway) close to it is fairly new and less crowded.

hello!  our SG vacation is less than a month away.  so I am travelling with hubby, 2 small kids (16 mos and 2.5 yo) and our 2 yaya.  mahigpit ba sila sa cab like sa number of passengers?  i think that we can fit naman like 3 adults sa backseat plus the 2 kids on our lap.  anyone knows kung ok lang kami mag cab na ganyan karami passengers sa backseat?

Is going to river safari and night safari worth it?? we're planning to include SG flyer, Gardens by the Bay, USS, cable car, luge and skyride on our itinerary. Now I am still contemplating whether to include night safari or not..

^^yes, mahigpit ang cab dito sa Singapore. Maximum of 4 passengers lang talaga and 2 kids = 1 adult ang conversion nya. Most of the roads wala namang MMDA or bantay but cctv/camera are everywhere kaya mahuhuli at mafi-fine pa rin yung cab driver kaya takot sila.

Meron namang mas malaking cab, maxi cab ang tawag pero mas mahal nga lang and usually for booking sya.

Yes mahigpit sila.
I travelled with two Senior Citizens (tatay & nanay ko) plus my three kids (age 7,4&2). Hindi kami pinayagan to take one taxi, in the end two taxi kami. Napamahal kami ng fare because of that, total of SGD26 pay ko.

^sis, thanks.  yan din sari ng friend ko based sa SG.  Max of 4 passengers lang daw ang regular taxi sa SG.  So she suggested maxi cab or grab taxi in our case..

Hello! Travelling to sg this week. Kasama ko 2 senior citizens, 2 kids and ate ko. Problem is hindi nakahabol yung kapatid ko sa embassy since holiday kahapon to get our invitation letter. Question is harangin pa kaya kami ng IOs kung 6 naman kami magtravel with 2 seniors and 2 kids pa. Thanks.

^para saan yung invitation letter? Majority of the people travel to Singapore without that and they don't encounter any issues with the IO. I've also travelled to SG with a big group a long time ago but never had a problem. Just make sure your return tickets and itinerary are in order so as to not rouse any suspicion. If your kids are schooling age, let them bring their school IDs and/or proof of enrollment and for you, if you're working, a company ID. This will establish that you have a life here in PH and have no intentions of staying in SG for good. (This is what I did before when I was questioned by US immigration for having an "open" return flight. I simply showed them my college school ID as proof that I'm currently enrolled in school and was simply accompanying my lola in the travel).

^Pansin ko nga din mas mahigpit IOs sa atin. When I went to SG 2 weeks ago, I was asked by the IO in the Philippines:

1) Where I work
2) Who I'm going with
3) When will I go back to the Philippines

Pero mabait naman yung IO, nakikipagjoke  pa nga.

But when I reached SG, I wasn't asked anything by the SG IO.

Mga Sisss! I have a huge problem. We'll be traveling to KL then Singapore on September 1-7. My passport will expire on February 14, 2016. Recently ko lang narealize na less than 6 months na sya. I read in some sites na 90 days before expiration ang requirement ng malaysia. 6 months sa singapore? Is there a possibility na i-decline entry ko sa KL and Singapore?? Would bringing documents like COE, hotel bookings and return flight help?.. Help please??
I heard the news na may free extension ang DFA ngayon,kaso wala nang schedule before Sept 1. Super strict ba mga IO sa singapore? Huhu

^Sis 6 months din sa Malaysia. If ever makalusot sa Philippines IO, magairport to airport ka lang pagdating sa Malaysia/SG. And honestly I don't think they'll let you fly with less than 6months expiry kasi they check the passport upon check in pa lang. Kaya pa ihabol yan ng rush renewal. Natry mo na to check the schedule of all satellite offices ng DFA?
