question girls, do you know a van service rental with driver? on our last day kasi, 6pm pa flight namen. balak ko mag city tour muna sa afternoon. we are group of 12, half are seniors. so better na may private transpo kame instead of taking mrt or taxi. sa mga travel agencies naman kasi, meron schedule yung city tour nila at hindi ko din naman gusto lahat puntahan yung mga list of attractions nila. we want to have a flexible time and on our own pace. picture taking lang sa merlion park, esplanade then chinatown pasalubong shopping and food trip, or maybe orchard na rin. hope may ma recommend kayo. tia!

South East Asia Hotel is very near to Bugis MRT. No worries even for children and senior citizens. It is extremely accessible.

kaso lang nagchange na kame ng hotel, instead of sea hotel sa v lavender na kame. mas madali kasi for the seniors na kasama ko. based on the hotel location, sa baba lang daw yung mrt station dun.

V Hotel, sis?  Oks ang location nyan... kapag may friends akong nagtatanong sa kin ng hotel to recommend... yan ang una kong sinasabi if hindi masyadong tight sa budget.   

Dyan na rin ang pick up location ng ibang bus papuntang legoland.. sa tapat ng Wendy's

question, how far yung bayfront mrt station (CE1) papuntang garden by the bay following the underground link-way then crossing the dragonfly bridge? malayo bang lakaran yun? mga ilang mins kaya?

^I'm not sure how long it will take you to get there pero definitely its just a short walk from the MRT. Just follow the signs and hindi ka maliligaw papunta dun. Nga pala, the cloud forest attraction sucks so don't bother with it, everything else is ok naman.

^ para saken mejo malayong lakaran yung papunta sa gardens by the bay. May shuttle don papunta sa dome di ko maalala kung 2sgd o 5sgd.. Mas nagustuhan ko ang cloud forest kaysa flower dome.

sakin din hinde short walk yung bayfront mrt to Gardens by the Bay. the underground link pa lang medyo mahaba na. kahit sanay na ko sa lakad here 😉

re: Alive Museum, sakin hinde sulit for the admission fee. skip na lang. IMO lang 😁

ficklemind, thanks for the feedback on Alive Museum. Now, I am torn. Thinking hard whether we should go or just skip it. I was saying, it's SGD25 lang naman & they have pa a promo now, SGD20 per person nalang. Perhaps, IF I find a deal that's less than that SGD20 rate, baka we just might go, for the sake of going. will be in SG next week. since we've been already there a few times, we have no plans on visiting USJ, Zoo, Gardens by the Bay, etc. any ideas mga sis kung san pa pwede for couples? we'll be there for 5D4N kasi.

Ang nasa list ko lang is:
1. Orchard then MBS, Clarke Quay
2. Vivo City Mall/Resorts World Sentosa/Mt.Faber dining
3. Day trip to Legoland (1st time here. kaya bang puntahan yun Johor Premium Outlet from Legoland via Taxi or any other transpo?), also saan ba pwede magbook ng tickets? may nakita akong package (Park + two way coach from SG - Legoland) sa http://attraction.wtstravel.com.sg, SGD139 siya for two (coach: WTS). pero sa http://www.legoland.com.my RM220 lang ang Park ticket. ok na ba yun first?

also, may mga premium outlets ba sa SG? or 2nd hand designer items (Rolex/Omega/Tag watch, LV/Prada bags, etc. parang sa Osaka, madaming stores sa Shinsaibashi area that sells those)

^ meron dati sa Holland Village, sa 2nd floor, store ng 2nd hand designer items (mostly bags and watches). Di ko lang maalala name, and if andun pa rin ngayon (given andami na nagbago sa Holland V area..).

unwantedP, most of the things I can think involve eating, so my suggestions are:
-try dining in the dark, we tried it, it's fun and yummy! NOX Dine in the Dark
-High Tea or Dinner at Carousel (Royal Plaza on Scotts)
-Cocktails at Ku De Ta (Marina Bay Sands SkyPark)
-Dessert Buffet at The Chocolate Park (Marina Bay Sands SkyPark)

^^ uy sis gusto ko yung High Tea and The Chocolate Park, will definitely include it in our itinerary shop and dine ang peg namin ngayon. hihi. yung NOX Dine in the Dark sis diba ilalagay ka sa table with other peeps? Madilim yun place talaga diba? kasi may nakita akong resto dito sa Manila, nakablindfold lang lol. Pwede ba magrequest ng alternate menu if allergic to seafoods?

unwantedP, yes, yes... the High Tea is amazing. Though, when it comes to us, mas gusto namin Carousel's lunch or dinner, kasi more food Shopping and dining = awesome combo! Anyway, as for the NOX Dine in the Dark, we were a group of 7 people, so we had our own table. Of course, we can't see anything, so it would be impossible to tell if we were placed in a table with others. Basta as far as I know, you get your own separate table naman. Kasi, like if you order water, that is paid for, so it's best you're on your own table kasi if mixed with others, mapupunta pa ang water mo sa iba. So, I am quite sure it's separate. Yes, it is really dark, as in Pitch Dark. So, we ate and talked without seeing each other. Ibang klaseng experience siya. You'll also be guided how to eat, so you'll be good. I never tried that one in Manila na naka blindfold naman... that's something to consider. When I did the booking, I reserved online and sent specific instructions about allergies, I am allergic to most seafood and legumes myself, so they alter the menu specific to instructions. There's even a form where you indicate which kinda of food you don't eat, like if ayaw mo ng raw or what, you can note so they know.
Finally, my bad, isip ako ng isip ng Park, it's supposed to be The Chocolate Bar sa Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. If you have a sweet tooth, this one's for you! And I know there's also cheese and wine, so super fun.. wine & cheese night with chocolate.

^Kritz, ok na ok sis. Kararating ko lang from SG,didnt go around the city sa Sentosa lang mostly nag-spent ng vacay. Must try ang mga resto sa Sentosa Cove especially Mykonos on the Bay, superb greek food experience.

Since we'll be in SG for the Holy Week all the way to Easter, I wanted ask if which Catholic Church is bigger, St. Joseph's or Church of Sts. Peter & Paul? Thank you!!!
We're definitely attending Easter Mass & we are sure na maraming people, so we'll go with the bigger church, if ever. TIA!

Legoland better go by private transport to save time and hassle. Pick up directly from your hotel lobby and no need to alight the vehicle at immigrations.

Famous church in Singapore for mass during Holy Week is St. Andrew's Cathedral.

Hi sissies! We'll be in SG Oct. 31-Nov. 4. Availed the SQ promo thru BPI cc. No hotel accomodation booked yet. We are 2 familes kasi. 1st- Me, hubby and 6 y/o. 2nd- 2 adults, 13 y/o, 11 y/o at 7 y/o. Medyo nahihirapan maghanap kasi for the 2nd family. I will be basing my hotel booking with them.
I've asked YMCA, but we're still looking for more options since medjo far pa naman. With sissies who have traveled with 4-5 pax where have u booked aside sa YMCA?  And one more thing, Regarding sa Wonder Full Show, is this the MBS light show? Where is the best location to watched it? Thanks super!

aaetfelipe, we've tried booking a two-bedroom service apartment at Somerset Bencoolen. It was very nice and we loved it, so why don't you consider this place also. Enjoy planning!
