Based on experience, where usually is the best place to have Peso or USD changed to SGD? TIA!

From what I've read, Mustafa or Chinatown (parang sa People's Park Complex ata meron doon). But since ako hindi naman ako nagagawi talaga doon, I exchange na sa airport a bit, tapos when I go to Bugis Street, dun ako nagpapapalit ng additional Hehe.

Is it still at 466 Crawford? Para kasing may nabasa ko na nasa Bedok New Town Food Centre at 16 Bedok South Rd. Then may nabasa ako na may nag-open na new Bedok hawker which is at Blk-208B New Upper Changi Rd. Nalito tuloy ako.

Wala ako masabe sa ganda ng Singapore! from transpo pa lang walang hassle esp mrt, (nag mrt lang kame from airport to bugis) napaka disiplinado ng mga tao, nakaka amazed madami kame nakitang matatanda na pero nagtatrabaho pa din sa mga kainan pa ha. Sulit na sulit sa USS si hub super nag enjoy sa transformer twice namen sinakyan gusto pang magpangatlo  Suko ako sa lakad dyan  ansaya lang sa mrt kahit hindi ka nagmamadali wala kang choice magmadali kasi ambibilis ng elevator ahahaha!!!

bro po ako heheh... yes there are money changers in changi airport, not sure kung open sila during the wee hours of the morning though pero definitely meron yan at mas ok ng konti ang palitan kumpara sa pinas.

tip lang when going around in SG as tourist, nagkalat ang mga signs and maps lalo na sa mga stations so I doubt maliligaw kayo sa destination nyo. If you have a smartphone you can use gothere.sg to find your way if you're going for specific places. Friendly naman ang mga local so maligaw man kayo they can easily point you to the right direction. Pero syempre ingat pa rin.

Also, please behave when going around. Cameras are everywhere in SG. Goodluck and enjoy your trip! Make sure to make papiktyur sa merlion sa marina, hindi kumpleto pasyal nyo pag wala yan hehe 


FYI pala, don't forget to keep your receipts of the items na nabili nyo lalo na dun sa mga mall. You can present those to the GST counter in the airport after the immigration so you can get the GST refund for the items.

For GST Refund, minimum of 100 sgd of purchases from one store and inform the cashier that you're a tourist and will claim the GST refund you need to present your passport for this.

Malapit na trip ko! HELP!! Any recommendation on where i can rent a pocket wi-fi in Changi or in Orchard or a reliable one that delivers the device to your hotel?

I Googled it kaso nung nakita ko kung gaano kamahal ang deposit (Rentafi has 250SGD deposit), i feel safer getting recommendations first rather than just randomly picking one from the web.

I read about the free public wi-fi in SG pero kailangan daw ng SG sim. Eh naka-lock sa Globe ang phone ko so i don't think that's an option. I'm fine w/ renting a pocket wi-fi. I just need to know where to get a reliable one...

Usually most establishments in SG comes with their own wi-fi network na especially hotels and restaurants. You can ask the staff for the password na lang. So no need to get a pocket wi-fi if you won't be staying long para hindi na madagdagan gastos mo for your itinerary.

Besides, hindi rin ganun kalakas ang "wireless@sg," naka-depende ka pa rin sa magandang reception. Most people who owns a smartphone kasi are on a postpaid plan so may sarili na silang connection, yung iba naman meron na ring mobile internet for their laptops while on the go kaya hindi rin masyado nagre-rely sa free wifi ang mga tao dun. Not to mention most residential areas already have their own wi-fi at home pa.

^8 nights din kasi ang stay ko and i'll do a hawker food crawl so it's good to have wi-fi while i'm in transit, hehe. i did further searching and Y5Buddy seems good (i might get this unless there are other recos)...

I might just pick it up from their office so they can help me set up as well. Malapit lang sa Clarke Quay ang office so convenient naman. Mas mura din ang deposit, 150SGD.

well, if you say so. Good thing you've done your research ahead of time. Most hawkers aren't really equipped with their own wi-fi area, kung meron man sigurado hindi ganun kalakasan din ang signal dahil crowded yan lalo na yung mga area na sikat like lau pa sat near raffles mrt or makan sutra sa may marina.

As for the foods itself, ingat na lang kasi baka mataga ka sa bill mo, ask the price first before confirming your order.
