My hubby and I will be in Singapore on January 23-25. I am planning to book V Hotel Bencoolen (Bugis). Would you know if the hotel provide free transport to USS? If not, can someone orient me on how to go to USS coming from the said hotel? Also, from hotel to Marina Bay, Helix Bridge...

I checked Agoda and YMCA (Orchard) is no longer available. Any budget hotels near Orchard?

Yan lang ginamit ko for directions. All modes nandiyan: walking, bus, MRT, taxi. Pag MRT, sasabihin din sayo kung anong station bababa.

Finally booked V Hotel Bencoolen. Now, I need to buy USS tickets online and the cheapest eh yung sa Travel Delight at SGD 64 with SGD5 meal voucher + SGD5 retail voucher kaso I need to pick up the tickets sa office pa nila sa 44 Horne Road, 3 mins walk from Lavender MRT Stn Exit B. Sa USS site nasa SGD 74. Better ba sa USS directly nalang kasi baka same cost din pag nag travel pa kami sa Lavender area?

Mas mahal sa USS mismo. If I were you buy @ asiatravel and exchange your printed voucher down the entrance of USS. When I went there last December walang pila ang asia travel. I also bought my gardens by the bay with them at walang problema. mas mura combo packages nila.

Worth it ba if pumunta kami lucky plaza from chinatown o chinatown nalang kami.

^if you plan to stroll along orchard road, then you might as well drop by lucky plaza kung gusto mong makita ang tambayan ng mga kababayan natin na mga ofw. parang isang malaking ever gotesco mall.

^ bago palang un wax museum. ang haba lang nung pila sa entrance nung time na pumunta kami(weekend + umuulan) pero pag nasa loob ka na ok na meron nga lang mga chinese/indians na ang tagal magpicture.. meron din mga figures na kelangan pumila..

SGD12 yong nabili ko sis & maganda yong quality pati design. kung pupunta kayo ng orchard road, madadaanan nyo to. hehe! parang lucky plaza lang yong mall na naligaw don, lahat high-end. mas mura pa rin souvenirs sa chinatown
