Does anyone know when the River Hongbao will be held next year? Parang mas masaya magpunta mga Singapore during cny kesa as March. I think my kids will enjoy the festivities. Aabsent nga lang. Hahaha!

Thanks! I really wanted sana to watch the Chingay Parade kaya lang my youngest is 1.5yo palang by then. Baka mahirapan kami. Open area yung F1 it building diba? I'm worried na if it rains, hala! :-P So baka we will go for the CNY Eve festivities nalang and River Hongbao.

i wanted to stay at Carlton because it's walking distance to MRT, Makansutra, and Bugis. kaso sosyal ang kasama ko, sa Orchard gusto! hahaha. napunta tuloy sa Grand Hyatt. oh well.

di kasi ako mahilig sa shopping and all so i'm not interested in Orchard. mas gusto ko pang malapit sa hawker centres. malamang walang malapit na hawker sa Grand Hyatt no? haha nagtanong pa, malamang wala.

^sis, You have to specify how much SGD you have.  Baka kasi 10SGD lang sha, not worth the effort ng meetups.

Napuntahan ko yung Madame Tussauds na nila, sakto naman dating ko dun, newly opened lang pala yun last October. Ang linis nga ng Singapore, grabhe.. pero pansin ko lang, iba talaga Customer Service natin compare sa mga ibang lahi na nasa counter ng fast food chains and malls..

finally done with our SG vacay. inulan kami nung hapon sa USS. worth it ang Express Pass dahil ang haba ng pila sa mga rides when we went there after lunch. naenjoy namin yung food, not much sa paggala. around Bugis area pa lang, kulang na yung araw namin para i-try yung local cuisines nila

ang naenjoy ko the most when I visited SG was their food & yung transformer ride sa Universal Studios! Para sa akin sobrang sulit talaga ng Transformer ride kahit na mahaba ang pila.

I love SG!

Last week was my first ever solo travel and I was not disappointed. The first very first thing I experienced in SG was receiving kindness from a stranger. I was waiting a ride bound to Woodlands MRT when I found out that I have to pay my fare in cash since I don't have that EZ link card. I tried asking a stranger(lady) to change my $50 because I need to board the bus with the exact fare which is around $1 (not sure), buses don't change bills. She asked "how many of you?" and then I said "I'm alone"... to my surprise she reached her wallet and hand me a $2 bill with some coins in cents. She didn't even ask my name or where I came from, she just hand the bill and instruct me the number of bus I need catch to reach my destination. I'll never forget her face. My regret was that I didn't even ask her name. When I get in the bus, I almost don't want to pay using my precious $2. I want to keep it as a souvenir but I had no choice but to drop the bill in the "payment box".

Sisses! As previously mentioned, i'm drafting an itinerary that doesn't include the usuals (except perhaps for the Trick Eye Museum and Wings of Time since they didn't have these yet during my last visit).

Question: do you recommend SG's theatre scene? If so, which play in particular? I'll be there in Feb 14-17.

For the other spots, aside from a hawker food crawl, here's my shortlist:

- Tiong Bahru (bakery, market, Yong Siak St)
- Har Paw Villa
- Kampong Glam
- Dempsey Hill farmer's market
- Pasar Bella farmer's market
- Henderson Waves connecting Mt. Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park

I love going to the farmer's market whenever i visit a country. Sadly, Dempsey Hill and Pasar Bella both seem to entail a hassle commute and might take too much time away from my hawker food crawl.. so i might forgo one of them. Which one is better?

Mag sis balak namin tour sa sg 3d2n , mas makakatipid ba kung DIY kami or kuha kami tour package? Kasama namin kids , youngest is 4 y/o kasi parang mas mag enjoy sila sa universal studio kesa sa disneyland , patulong naman sis sa itenirary 1st time lang namin sa sg  aside from us san pa magandang puntahan na mag enjoy mga kids ? Saan ba  kami dapat kumuha hotel yung accessible sa lahat ? What about food mahal ba sa sg , picky eaters pa naman mga anak ko kaya kahit gusto namin ni hubby mag food trip malamang sa fast food din bagsak namin    thanks sa mga sasagot

@teri_28 kung 3d2n bitin na bitin yan USS is 1 day na. Singapore zoo okay din will take another day after that you can check the night safari maganda naman basta maaga kayo dun yung tipong sunset pa lang makikita mo pa yung mga animals. Tapos nun the next day uuwi na kayo.

Mga sis tried mock booking sa jetstar mura na ba yung 7k rt ? Sa april pa kasi balak namin taas baba kasi yung price sa jetstar , cebu pac medyo mas mahal pa kesa jetstar hindi ko tuloy alam kung mag antay pa muna ko mas mura kaso hindi kaya magmahal lalo habang papalapit yung travel date namin, nagbabakasakali kasi ako bago mag piso sale pa yung cebu pac  baka makuha ko lang ng 6k+ pa
