Hi mga sis, plan ko magyoga pero wala pa kong idea how to start. Sino sa inyo pumupunta sa Life Yoga bgc? Malapit lang sa office namin to eh so pwede ako before pumasok. I plan to enroll thru KFit. San nga pala kayo bumibili ng yoga towel? Would you recommend a towel or yung nabasang kong toesox? Do you bring your own mats?

^ I'd suggest check out the rules in the studio that you wish to practice in. It's always advisable to bring your own mat, I'm not that fond of lying down on a mat with someone else's sweat on. But to each his own.  If you're a heavy sweater, then it might be  advisable to bring a yoga mat towel.  I normally buy from Amazon ( but then I'm not based in the Phil.), I definitely recommend Manduka yoga mat towels. I own 2, and they absorb the sweat really well.  Good luck.

Life Yoga BGC provides mats, straps, and blocks - so I just bring my own towel. you wouldn't want to lay down your forehead or face sa mat di ba.

sa Bikram i bring my own. bukod sa for rent ang mat mejo smelly ang mat nila.

thank you mga sis. Nabasa ko nga sa Life Yoga sabi you just need to bring a towel since may mat na. I need to bring my own. Meron na kong mat nabili ko lang sa Runnr, not sure how it compares in terms of quality sa nasa studio since I bought it for the purpose of home workout in mind :D This month ko lang naisip magyoga sa studio talaga eh  :D

^i always wear sleeveless sis. Most  of the teachers do too. :) some i see tiny UA hairs din. So i was like "oh, ok lang pala yun?" That it is a normal thing pala to have UA hairs and kahit hindi makinis ang UA mala-anne curtis :)

Is Birkam Yoga Eastwood still open? Passed by the area recently pero parang closed na. Or baka under renovation lang? :)

^actually when you're doing yoga, you want to wear something comfortable wherein you can move freely. Most of the time, practitioners are busy trying to perform an asana. Trying to be focused on doing certain poses,  nobody's paying attention naman kung ano ang ichura ng arms mo.  :)

Krabby_patty,

No its closed na:( But the owner is still conducting classes in her private home in Valle Verde. They only have 2 schedules per day now and you have to confirm your slot. I heard classes can also get cancelled like an hour before the schedule if they a few students lang. Check Oxygen Studio in Facebook, thats the owner:)
