Agree your ob would not prescribe medication that is not safe for your baby. If you don't trust your ob how will you possibly give birth with her? Even worse, your uti could spread to your baby-leading to preterm labor and time n the nicu. Worse, stillborn. Take your medication

I was not saying naman na i dont trust my OB, hence, the hesitation, however, I have to also consider what my mother tells me, she is a nurse, for 20 years now, surely she knows what she's talking about. However, yes, i am taking the meds as prescribed by my OB because I am well read and well informed about UTI and how it will affect me and my baby, so im not taking that risk.

Have the same situation. My OB before prescribed medicines when I had UTI and cough. I took it of course kahit na mabigat sa loob enough with that nakakadepress lang. What I love with my current OB all natural ang approach niya and organic. I discussed it with her she explained that relatively based on studies if near term less chance of complications with antibiotics but not totally 100% our immune system is also down that is why we are prone to infections. She told me to make salt wash and drink plenty of water next option will be the antibiotics. What I did, I mixed lukewarm water and dissolve a pinch of salt for washing my vagina. It works like magic infection gone on my follow-up

36 weeks by tomorrow..sobrang active ni baby ngayon magpapahinga lang kaunti pero after magalaw na ulit siya. Mabait lang siya pag tutulog na kami hindi ko na nararamdaman yung galaw niya. Konting intay nalang. Kelan ba ang best time para magpack ng gamit? Medyo marami pa akong kulang ang hirap na mag shopping ngayon masakit na sa balakang ang maglakad ng maglakad pero kailangan ko daw maglakad ng maglakad sabi ni Doc.

Started packing ng things ni baby at may mga kulang pa kami. Things palang ni baby ang sinimulan ko, yung sa akin after nalang ng kay baby. Naka mindset ako ng normal delivery pero dapat ba pang CS ang ippack ko incase matagalan kami sa hospital? pang 2 days lang ang inayos ko.

Bedrest kami ngayon ni baby kasi nagkaroon ako ng konting vaginal spotting last week.

Will be packing our things later. Nilabhan na namin yung mga damit ni baby.

Question lang mga sis, anong magandang brand ng binder ang bilhin?

Im using the one from mercury that i used with my daughter. I also bought a pigeon brand one specifically for the hips. I also have girdles and high waist panties

Hi mga sisses! Ikwento ko lang, yesterday while at work, I was feeling cramps sa lower abdomen and parang indigestion after eating lunch. I thought hindi lang ako natutunawan since galaw ng galaw si baby sa may lower chest ko. So I just took isoxilan as prescribed by my OB. Nawala in the afternoon. At around 6-6:30pm, haven't eaten dinner yet, sumakit nanaman. Same pain during lunch time. So I've decided to take another isoxilan since sabi ni OB to take it as needed pag may pain ako. After 30 minutes, hindi nawala yung pain. Di na ako halos makatayo sa table ko. Then I told my officemates, dederetso ako sa DR kasi iba yung pakiramdam. From Makati, up to QC, i was feeling paninigas and pain pa din sa lower abdomen. Continious pa din kicks ni baby. When I was in the DR, good thing nandun din ang OB ko dahil meron syang procedure. Kinabit kaagad ako sa NST. They found out i'm having mild contractions already. Kinakausap ko na si baby sabi ko not yet time dahil exactly 33 weeks pa lang sya. Dec. 29 pa ang due ni baby. So they gave me 20mg nifedipine to stop the contraction. Nag IE sakin yung doc and told me closed daw cervix ko and it's high pa. So observe lang sila. I had another NST 30 minutes after taking nifedipine, still may twitching and mild contractions pa din. I was starting to worry already. They gave me another 10mg nifedipine. Hilo na ako and super flushed since yun ang effect nung gamot. Was hooked up again in the NST. There were still little contractions pero konti na lang. That was around 1am na, antok and gutom na. My OB arrived. She told me to be on complete bed rest for 1 week or until kumalma ang uterus ko. I asked my OB why it happened. Due to stress and pagod daw. She thinks i have an Irritable Uterus. Nagulat ako kasi it was my first time to hear that. My uterus are contracting but the good thing, the cervix doesn't dilate nor efface. But high chances that it can lead to pre-term labor if magtuloy tuloy ang contractions. This was explained by my OB.

It was a very long night for me. When the resident was asking me what kind of pain, sabi ko parang may kabag or mapoopoops. Then hinawakan nya tyan ko and told me, ayan naninigas, that's contraction. I didn't even realize that. This is my first baby and i am totally clueless. I'm just sharing my story for us to be more aware. I thought i am having a perfectly healthy pregnancy kasi wala ako masyado nararamdaman from 1st trimester. Ang sipag ko pa pumasok sa trabaho from qc to makati everyday. Naka set pa sa utak ko na mid december ako mag leave para hindi sayang ang days with the baby. Now, i have to be on leave and given only bathroom privileges. I was talking to my baby kanina habang nagkick sya, naluha ako and said sorry. I didn't know i was putting so much stress in my body already. Pati sya nadadamay. Good thing my OB said my baby has strong fetal heart rate and movements. i felt the need to share my story dahil like most soon to be moms here, ang dami nating questions diba? Kaya i just pray na we'll deliver on our due dates.

Hi sisses! Just gave birth yesterday Nov. 11 and still in the hospital. Share ko lang experience ko. Yesterday at 2am, nag wiwi ako and napansin ko na my underwear was wet, never nangyari sa akin during pregnancy na ganun ka wet yung undies ko. Inamoy ko parang wiwi lang naman. Nag change ako ng undies and put a sanitary napkin. Around 4:30am, napansin ko basa yung napkin and pagtayo ko, may nag leak na water na may halong blood. Sabi ko this is it na.

Pagdating namin dito hospital at 6:30am, confirmed that my bag of water started leaking na nga, though wala akong contractions. Monitored until 8am, wala pa rin, parang isang mild contraction lang. They decided to have me undergo induced labor. Medyo mabagal nag progress yung labor. Started at 9am, then 3pm nasa 4cm pa lang ako but masakit na. Nagrequest na ko ng epidural, pagka administer nung anesthesia, 6cm na ko. Before 5pm, nakikita na nila head ni baby, biglang bumilis ang pag progress. 5:33pm, out na si baby, binigyan p ko ng pampatulog muna pala kasi inintay pa si OB.

Baby is in the nursery, hindi muna ni room in to monitor her kung may infections dahil nga nag leak yung bag of water ko, and prone kami both for infections. Also to monitor her sugar and thyroid levels. To all mommies na hindi pa nag gi give birth, good luck and pray! Mahina pain tolerance ko but I/we did it, Im sure kayang kaya nyo din.

37 weeks ako today. 

Last monday, nagpacheckup kami kasi Friday pa ako nagrereklamo ng pain.  Nung Friday sabi ko, "feeling ko dadatnan ako ng mens in two days."  Pagdating ng Monday, sabi ko, "Ito yung tipo ng sakit na iniinuman ko ng coke para lumabas na agad ang mens."

So nagpacheck-up nga kami dahil sa sakit.  Saradong-sarado pa ang Cervix ko.  Yung naging discharge ko ng Sunday is hindi raw mucus plug.  Tapos ang fundal height ko eh nasa 34 cm na

Tapos sabi ni OB, "Tatapatin kita.  Usually yung mga ganyang nakakaramdam na ng pain tapos hindi nagpoprogress, usually sila yung CS.  Kasi baka hindi mo na kayanin ang sakit.  Sa ngayon (36w5d), wala tayong ibang option kundi maghintay.  Next week, pag-usapan natin if elective CS ka."

Ayoko ma-CS   So nagtanong ako sa friends ko.  Hubby bought me Flaxseed Oil.  Baka sakaling bumukas na cervix ko.  I started taking this yesterday.  Pinipilit kong lumabas na kasi ayoko nang lumaki pa si baby or else, malamang nga eh CS to

Mga sis question lang, ano ba yung sinusunod niyo na EDD? Based ba sa ultrasound or based sa LMP. Based kasi sa LMP ko, im 37 weeks na pero sabi ng OB ko i-based na lang daw namin sa ultrasound since magkalapit yung date 1st ultrasound ko is dec 9 then yung 2nd is dec 10, so im about 36 weeks now. Naguguluhan lang ako kung ano talaga susundin.

Hi sis caffelatte, same here.

Ganyan din ako, lagi ako nakakaramdam ng contraction. May history nga ako ng premature contraction since 5th month namin ni baby. Sipag ko din pumasok from QC to Taguig.

Currently Bedrest din kami ngayon. 2nd week naman ng Dec ang Due date namin ni baby.

Nakakakaba lang everytime nag kakaganyan ako. Tsaka di naman daw nag oopen cervix ko kaya bedrest nalang daw talaga.

Dati nga 7 weeks ako di pumasok eh.

Hi sis Ms. Mafi! Grabe ang feeling no. I just came back from my doctor's appointment this afternoon. She advised me to extend my bed rest hanggang malagpasan ko ang 36 weeks. 2 more weeks. That's to make sure daw na fully developed na si baby. After that, kahit bumalik daw ako sa work and to walk it out.

Kay it's "me time" now. Kailangan sulitin dahil for sure paglabas ni baby, "baby time" lang 24/7. Yes kaya natin to sis and let's enjoy the bed rest kahit super nakakainip. 😄 ganito pala talaga no? Lahat gagawin natin for our babies.

Hi mga sis ask ko lang if may same story din dito like sa akin.

27 weeks ako ng maconfirm ng OB ko na 1cm open na ako so naka bed rest ako tingin ko ang cause is yung UTI ko. At 30 weeks ko nagpaultrasound ako nag iba yung EDD ko. Sa unang ultrasound ko at 8 weeks jan 2 ang EDD ko sa 2nd ultrasound ko at 30 weeks naging dec 13 ang EDD at si baby instead na 30 weeks by LMP 33 weeks siya sa ultrasound. So tingin ko malaki siya sa age niya.

Sobra na akong nahihirapan ngayon hindi na nawala yung heartburn ko esp at night. Hirap na din akong maglakad yung balakang ko masakit na talaga at may pressure na sa lower part ko na para akong mag memens na pag maglalakad ako. 33 weeks pa lang ako ngayon 8 months pa lang pero yung feeling ko para nang 9 months na. Sabi ni OB ko sundin pa din namin yung una kong EDD na jan 2. Pero parang hindi ko na kaya ang bigat na talaga  parang ayaw ko na kumain tuloy at baka lalo lumaki si baby pero hindi ko naman kaya na magutom.

Sis caffelatte, Oo nga eh. I agree, me time muna kasi paglabas ni baby 24/7 na nga hehe.
I'm 35 weeks. Balik ako sa work next week. 2 more weeks and december na!!! Excited na nga ako super.

Medyo hirap na din kasi ako ng lagi nakahiga. Nakakangalay sa likod kasi bigat na ni baby kahit naka side lying ako minsan hirap padin talaga.

36 weeks na kami, malikot ba si baby nyo? Sa amin parang may nagbago sa movement ni baby, minsan sobrang likot nya minsan tahimik. Pero sa gabi pag kinausap ko na siya na matutulog na kami hindi na siya masyadong gumagalaw. At napapa ihi ako sa movement ni Baby. Kailangan ko na bang mag worry?

^sis hakunamatata, hindi ko alam if need na magworry kase the other day, ang tahimik din ni baby ko. May movements naman sya pero di tulad nung usual. Buti 1 day lang na ganon, ngayon naglilikot na naman sya at nagrerespond na pag kinakausap ng daddy nya. Ilang days na ba na ganyan si baby mo?
