Are your maids super busy?

I get to read stories of maids who work abroad or locally saying that they almost have no rest in their work, like some getting up at 4 or 5 am and would continuously work until midnight.  However when I look at our maids, it seems they have a lot of free time, including for gossiping. 

The one who does the laundry would wash our clothes in the morning.  After that, she's vacant and I see and hear her and other maid talking, lying down on their bed, on the cellphone.  Then it's lunchtime.  After lunch, she usually irons the clothes (doesn't seem to be an everyday task).  Finishes around 2:30 ish.  She rests again or sleeps, or gab with the other maid, talk to her husband, tv.  At night, there are no tasks for her.  If they have their own food already, then no need to cook.  And that's it.  She's also the one assigned to sweep the living room, but I think she does it when she feels like it (every 2 weeks or 1x a month probably).    There was this cockroach lying on the floor for a couple of weeks so that hasn't been disposed of yet; that's how I also found out.

How about creating a work schedule.

Full time helpers appreciate it when their tasks are set for them. Also, they get to see that their workloads aren't that heavy after all. The best part - you won't be that frustrated. :-)
