^I agree with sis avane. Sheena knows for herself na mid end supplier din sya so if you're looking at meeting her, she would most likely refer suppliers na mid end din. So I think it might be helpful if you give her an idea how much you are willing to spend for a wedding then that could probably help her in referring some high end suppliers instead.

I agree sis sparklingjewel. i realized that your coordinator should be matched well with most of the suppliers in a wedding.

if you get mid-range suppliers better to go with mid-range coordinator

for high-end suppliers its better also to get a high-end coordinator

not for any reason except of course sanay sila to work with certain suppliers already. at the same time the suppliers will not want to disappoint their "suki" coordinators bec hindi na sila i-re recommend if they screw up. Just a thought....

At the same time, not just bec high end ang coordinator ok sila and good service. Minsan better service pa from the mid-range coordinators talaga. Pero yun talaga, you have to balance good service, supplier rapport with coordinator, and lastly dapat same sense of aesthetics ang bride and coordinator

Yes, sasabihin dapat talaga ng sister ko sa kanya that the WC should cancel on them nalang and refund. Siguro na sense na rin ni WC yun.
After nung text messages ng sister ko, pumayag na si WC to refund the downpayment. When my sister asked kelan, di na nagreply ulit. She also didnt ask for their account number. Toink.

tsaka marami na din naman magaganda reviews si joy dito from past brides and i don't think papayag sila to accept na jologs ang taste nila. 

Kanya kanya naman yan sis I just advised that to sis Chili1113 kasi alam ko na from past posts niya medyo same talaga kami ng taste in suppliers. Of course hindi naman lahat pareho ng views kaya nga may iba ibang klase and styles ang suppliers diba. Peace!

Just to note, none of my honest reviews are meant to offend anyone. If anything, i give them to help. I don't personally take offense when other people review my suppliers as well... that's why i'm here, right, to find out what other people think. So yun lang, wag natin masyado dibdibin lahat as if one has to be right and someone has to be wrong. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, no right or wrong

I have kwento lang regarding Sheena, kasi sobrang nabilib talaga ko.

She recommended bands to me, and mentioned to her yesterday that I like Sound Salad (o di ba di jologs). Then she sent me a message to message her ASAP, it turns out that Sound Salad have a 10 years anniversary promo that they will give 10K discount. Problem is, the deadline is today (Jan 14) for booking to avail of the discount, besides that, starting next week they would have a price increase.

Living overseas, transferring the money would take 3 business days (sorry, bank to bank transfer lang alam ko). So sabi ko kay Sheena, let go na lang yung 10k na discount (+5K na price increase). You know what she did? She made abono to book! Kasi sayang daw yung almost 15K; funny kasi mas nanghihinayang sya for me.


I know to early to say, but I myself was surprised sa initiative nya and also sa trust. Di ako nagkamali on choosing her.

I'm so dyahe so I called my dad to deposit the money to Sheena's account (utang muna kay daddy)

I have pencil booked Imbitado events na Thanks to this forum. I just hope hindi "fad" ang feedback sa kanila! I really hope maging okay dahil Nov. 2016 pa naman ako. Good thing kilala na nya mga suppliers namin (prospect pa lang sila since holiday and wala pa kaming time to meet them all personally, hence no downpayments pa at all, baka next month )

Sobrang wala naman sa plano ko kumuha ng coordinator. Iniisip ko mga kapatid ko na lang mamigay ng souvenirs etc, pero parang naisip ko, gusto ko lang kaming lahat mag enjoy. Makakain ng todo. Chill lang. Iniisip ko pa nga noon, "that's what bridesmaids are for, right??" tas narealize ko ang harsh. HAHA! So yeah.. maybe need nga talaga ng coordinator on the day lang. I can organize bookings naman on my own prior to the wedding excited!

i'm an soon-to-be imbitado bride too.
pareho tayo ng initial pov sa pagkuha ng coordinator. i was thinking kase before na pwede nga naman mag-delegate sa kamag-anak pero the more na naging in-depth yung preps, the more ko din narealize yung need for an otd.

i know some brides na di kumuha ng otd pero sobrang ok yung wedding kaso since medyo OC ako pagdating sa instructions, ayoko naman mangarag ng kamag-anak on the day or worse eh mang-away lalo na pag may di nasunod. hehe at least with a coordinator sanay na sila in dealing with bride-to-be's and easier makipag-communicate ng concerns.

Wala pa din akong nabasa na GT member na may review about the coordinator you booked sis.. We do the other way around, "we read reviews muna before booking", especially when it comes to coordination service. Mahirap na kasi nowadays, madaming magagaling mag sales talk..

pencil booked imbitado events too! fiance wanted to meet with them first before settling the dp, just like with every other suppliers we've booked so far.

we're also considering SMA, they are getting good reviews as well. just not sure if the price difference is worth it. what do you girls think?

Yun nga e. We really wanted to get Imbitado sana or KTG pero they're already booked. Nagpapressure kasi ako kay fiance na mag-book na kami while nasa fair. Haha. Pero nung nakausap naman namin, ok talaga. I hope until wedding day ok sila.

Zenith Events and Management - very light kausap at very reliable! We got thier OTD package since very cheap at kasama na ang hosting with RSVP. Madocs ensure that our program walang dead air and lahat naman ng guests enjoyed so much! I realize you dont need to have a very bonggang coordinator para maging very succesful ang wedding.

just a piece of advice sisses, malaki ang effect ng coordinator sa wedding. kasi di nio na maasikaso ni h2b lahat especially yung mga little things during your wedding. based sa experience ko, we wasted 30k para lang sa isang group na hindi makapagdeliver. Here's our story:

Marie was referred to us by hubby's friend. At first ang gusto talaga namin OTD lang, pero she gave us "huge" discount daw so we were convinced na semi full wedding coordination nalang. During our first meeting, kasama nya yung bf nia, (should be our emcee). May powerpoint presentation pa sya and all for our wedding. So impressed kami, prepared sila and all. Next meeting namin contract and downpayment na daw 15k. Medyo hesitant na ako kasi wala pa kaming nakukuhang output ang laki na agad ng kailangan ibayad. And then dun na nagsimula. AFter that, kailangan ako pa cumontact sa kanila regarding our wedding. Sabi ko suggest for a venue kasi hot date yung wedding namin (1.4.14) so mahirap humanap. Our church is in Sto. Domingo, naghahanap ng venue sa Novaliches! Kaloka! THen iniinsist nia to book their quartet, mas importante daw yun other than the venue. (Ano daw??) And then siguro nafeel nia na naiinis na ako kasi si hubby na yung kumakausap sa kanya. nagpasikat si ate, sumama nun canonical interview namin. Eto major off: She's wearing super short shorts! As in tipong pang beach na shorts na maong! Coming from a conservative family, my father asked her, "ija, ano kala mo sa bar ka pupunta? nasa loob ka ng simbahan ang ikli ng shorts mo?" Deadma sya, she even told my father ganun sya manamit talaga. And to make things worse, nagyosi sa harap ng parents ko. (lahat ng meetings namin naka super short shorts sya. unprofessional)

A week before the wedding wala parin syang paramdam. Lahat ng preps and stress kami ni hubby nagabsorb. To think it's her job to organize, pero sya hindi organized sa files nia and all. Ni wala syang contact details ng mga suppliers namin. So I decided to cancel nalang. Feeling ko kasi papalpak sya sa wedding namin so cinancel ko na, we said we won't be needing her services. Sumagot pa, kung ayaw ko daw na andon sya magpapadala nalang sya ng tao nya para magorganize! Kalokaaa! Wala kaming nakuhang refund. We paid 30K for nothing. Good thing I have friends na tumulong at naging punong abala that day.

So to save everyone here from stress and all, don't book Silverback Events. Sayang kasi money. To think na hard-earned money namin ni hubby yun at dinaos lang talaga yung wedding.

Sana sa wedding din namin ok lahat. Actually, almost all our suppliers dito ko nabasa or sa W@W. Sa lahat-lahat pa, yung coordinator ang nabaliktad namin na binook muna before searching for reviews. Ayay!
