Does anyone here who had this with their babies? My son is 7 months old and his cough is already a month now. We had him an xray and that's what we found out. Is it a pneumonia? How to treat it? Tia.

Pneumonitis is basically irritation of the tiny airways leading to lung inflammation. It may be caused by chemical irritants, molds, bacteria, etc. It would be best to bring your baby to the pedia so the xray plates/cd can be reviewed and interpreted based on your child's history and physical examination. Your pedia is also the best person to give advice regarding what treatment management is appropriate.
