Hello! I have questions po sa application form.

Dun sa question na current occupation. I own a business (single proprietorship), which should I check the Businessperson or Self-employed?

Also, sa question 2.6 Itinerary in China. Detailed IT ba dapat ito parang sa Japanese Visa Application or if in our case sa Beijing lang kami, can we just put the dates & name & address of our hotel?

Yung bang sa bank accounts na papagawan ng certificate, Savings / Current account lang ba ang pwedeng i-present or pwede ring isama yung mga Time Deposit & UITF accounts?

Nagbook kami ni hubby manila to beijing, shanghai to manila. Plan namin DIY beijing-xian-shanghai for 2018 holy week.

Since cebupacific kami, ano advisable transportation from beijing airport? Okay ba taxis? Mixed reviews kasi sa tripadvisor and luma na yun mga posts.

^ super hirap magcommute/makipagusap sa beijing. 2014 pa ata ako nagpunta ng beijing at sobrang hirap kami bumili ng food or magcommute. from beijing, nag hire kami car. madami sa labas na nagtatawag. ang sabi samin 100CNY lang naging 100CNY/person. hirap ang communication kasi wala talagang marunong mag english. better if mag-arrange ka na lang ng pick up sa hotel mo. and beware din kasi sobrang mangugulang mga tao dyan. meron nagsukli sakin ng 5(cents) na dapat 5CNY. papel din kasi yung cents nila so di ko na napansin at d ko naman memorize din kasi pera nila. madami bigla bigla sisingit sa line mo sa train. pila is non-existent din. turo turo lang sa menu.


nagenjoy lang kami nung nagpunta kami great wall kasi may tour kami kinuha. dun lang din kami nakakain ng totoong pagkain! hahaha! buti loft type yung hotel namin kaya masarap magstay lang.

All tourist spots in Beijing are accessible by train. Use translator app to communicate with them. Mahirap talaga language barrier since not everyone can speak English. Pero yun mga tourist destinations written in english kaya maiintindihan naman basta do your research well online if you plan to diy.

Thank you! Naka depende pa naman ako sa google maps kapag ganyan mga travel. Sabi mahirap daw iaccess google so i dont know if google maps ganun din. Tapos wala din fb and ig. Good luck sa social life ko. Hahaha..

Mukhang mas ok nga hotel transfers na lang. Sis plumpolka, saan kayo nagstay and anong tour kinuha niyo re great wall?

I have an initial iti na. Will post pag nafinalize ko na. So far yun mga popular sites muna ang gusto namin mapuntahan. Saka na yung iba. Mag search din ako translator app na pwede sa china baka di gumana google translate yun pa naman ginagamit namin pag out of the country.

^thank you sis. I read your blog. Hopefully kayanin namin ang challenge na wala masyado english. Magdownload na lang din ako translator tsaka VPN. Gusto ko pa rin sana makapag post ng ATM. Nagrent kayo wifi or bumili kayo sim? Nabasa ko kasi sa klook di daw masyado reliable yun pocket wifi. Iniisip ko pa tuloy kung magrent pa ba or map na lang talaga ang gawin naming bestfriend.  Dependent pa naman ako sa googlemaps. Sa korea na nga lang nahirapan ako kasi di pala gumagana googlemaps dun, walang walking directions.

Pwede na ba ang 500pesos na budget per meal? Nageestimate na kasi ako budget para alam ko na how much itatabi namin pera for this trip.

^When I went there in 2015, kinaya naman even without interacting so much with the locals -- went to Beijing, Xian and Tianjin, then last November 2016, Shanghai naman -- easy to navigate as well. If you're using android -- download maps.me (this works even in Korea kasi it has offline routing. Google maps fails on routing even with internet on) and get the map for Beijing and Shanghai. My sister bought a sim card in Shanghai although not much use kasi nga blocked ang social sites. If you want to be able to contact people - download WeChat and ask counter parts to install the same (if not using vpn).

Cant remember food expenses kasi when I went there, halos kasabay with other trips and I find the food in China cheaper and better (sarap ng mga dimsum and bao and roast ducks).

Hello! Anyone who have been to China recently and availed of Klook wifi or Flytpack? I'm going to Changsha, China for work and I need reliable net connection while there and they have the cheapest option for portable wifi. Also, about access to Facebook and Viber, kahit ba sa hotel wala? I need to communicate with my son while there. Any advice?

^No FB and other social media apps (Twitter, IG), YouTube and even Google. For Viber, you can send messages but not on sending pics and call. You need to subscribe to VPN or install free VPN but with limited time only.

Kahit hotel wala unless first star siguro.

Thanks for responding to my query. Ok, so meron viber. Maybe I can also install Wechat on mine and my son's phone so we can communicate. Need some info or review on portable wifi if magagamit ko ba sya. Sayang naman kase if mag avail ako tapos di pala reliable.

Galing kami ng Beijing ng Nov 2017. Hindi reliable ang VPN, swertihan ka maka connect buti na lang I downloaded 3 VPNS para may back up kase yung sa mga kasama ko 1 VPN lang eh on our 2nd day na block yung kanila. Every now and then kase nag block din ng VPNs ang China. Since we cannot access google maps, I used Mapsme app. I downloaded the Beijing Map na nagagamit namin offline. We just turn on the GPS to see kung nasaan na kami ang if we are heading the right direction.

For airport transfer, kinuha namin si Martin. Mabait siya at mabilis mag reply at maayos kausap. May nagrecommend lang din sa amin dito sa kanya. He charges CNY280 for his 8 seater van. I heard from Boss who just recently went to china, better use the WeChat app, yan ang  gamit nila doon, for everything!

^yes wechat ang gamit kasi sa kanila ata galing ang app na yan. when i was there sa shanghai hindi gumagana ang viber pero sa beijing pwede. naka receive naman ako ng messages and even sent pics and videos. i used facetime in communicating with my son so far ok naman. hotel wifi yung gamit ko mabilis naman.

for sim kumuha ako and i was able to use mobile data kaso ang kulit maya't maya may nag te-text sayo promo siguro yun, chinese language kasi lahat so di ko maintindihan. di ko na lang pinapansin coz i only bought the sim for internet. sometimes for texting rin pero mostly sa wechat ko tine-text yung friend ko na andun.

sa shanghai ako bumili ng sim and yung binilhan namin kinuha pa lahat ng info ko pati passport kailangan pa i-xerox and pag fill up ng form parang nag apply ako ng line doon samantalang prepaid lang yung sim kasi 10days lang ako dun. hindi ka basta basta makaka bili sa tabi tabi sa mismong business centers ka kukuha. don't know kung ganito talaga pero wala kasi kame nakitang nagtitinda kung saan saan.

no social networks and google so google maps don't work. i use the map sa iphone works fine naman. bing yung parang google nila doon. hope this info helps.

Thanks for the info! Okay na siguro yung WeChat just so I can communicate with my son. Di pa open yung phone ko so di pa ko pwede mag palit SIM and I don't have a 2nd phone. Yung portable wifi sana option ko kaso sayang naman kung di reliable. May wifi naman yung hotel so will only use it while I'm out.

Hello sisses na frequent china traveller. 😊 Mayron na ba sa inyo nakapag-apply ng multiple entry visa na sponsored ng family member (S2/S1)? First time ko kasi magmu-multiple visa kinakabahan ako kung gano sila kahigpit. Puro double-entry lang kasi usually ang inapply/ naapprove sakin for the past 3 years na nagtravel kami..

We'll be staying in china for almot 2mos at gusto ko na din talaga mapuntahan ang Beijing to celebrate my son's 7th bday... Sana magmaterialize ang plan.. Dami ko need iresearch like from Zhuhai kung anong train ang mainam sakyan. Napakalayo nun syempre at mas efficient kami kung magplane pero napakamahal din naman ng airfare hehe..

I did a a quick research kung anong maging itinerary namin if ever magpunta kami sa Great wall from Zhuhai sa June via high-speed trains:

1. Zhuhai Gongbei
2. Guangzhou South
3. Beijing west
4. Huairou district
5. Mutianyu (i prefer mutianyu over Badaling section dahil less crowded daw ito tho mas accessible ang badaling)

Wala pa yun planning kung saang point namin need mag-check in sa hotel at how much kaya yung per night.. Iniisip ko pa lang ang travel time at expenses e kakayanin kaya nung dalawang bata at ng bulsa ng asawa ko. Angmamahal din ng ticket eh. Papuntang Beijing west pa lang abot na 1k+ CNY (7k+ php per head). Wala pa yun taxi fares, entrance fees..hays..angmahal naman ng 7th bday ng anak ko.. Mag-Ocean par k na lang kasi! 😂

^what mode of transpo you will take from Guangzhou to Beijing? I suggest taking the plane because travel time is too long even you take the high speed train and you have kids in tow so it's not advisable to take intercity trains.

Yes, Mutianyu is better than Badaling.

Mura lang naman ang hotel sa Beijing esp yun mga Chinese hotels/hostel kun hindi naman picky. Of course if you will choose 5-stay or 4-star international hotels then mahal talaga yun.

Check elong.net or ctrip.com for your china travels. I'm working in Shenzhen btw

^hello sis! Thanks for the suggestion.😊 Nagche-check pa ako sa skyscanner kung may murang roundtrip flights guangzhou- beijing. Wala pa kasi sa cebpac on our desired date.. Pero ok lang naman kung hi-speed trains ang sakyan namin kasi yun mga bata sanay naman sa malayuang byahe. bitin nga sila sa 2-3hrs travel hehe. May inip moments lang minsan pag super excited sa pupuntahan..😀 Shortest travel time na nakita ko ay 8hrs Guangzhou-Beijing. Matutulog lang naman sila if ever na talagang pagod..Yun nga lang CNY 5444 ang total. 2nd class seat pa yun. Php 45k haha! Siguro wag na lang ako magconvert para di ako manghinayang. Alam naman natin na mataas na ang CNY ngayon compared before.. 8.3na ngayon! Kung may CNY 10,000 si husband i think it should suffice for the 4 of us. 5days lang naman yung plan ko na travel days... 1 day ba sis sa Great wall e enough na? Excited ako sa souvenirs! 😀😀

San ka nga pala sa Sz sis? Nagstay kami dyan nun dec 2016 sa may Xixiang kami banda.  😊

^Yes enough na ang 1 day sa Great Wall. Hindi naman siguro kayo akyat talaga sa pinakadulo Mag Mutianyu na lang kayo. Been to the two sections Badaling and Mutianyu and I prefer Mutianyu. Yun Badaling sobrang daming tao.

I think ok na ang 10K basta iwas sa shopping siguro. Yun price ng food halos same lang din naman dito sa Shenzhen or dyan sa place mo Zhuhai since both place are still in China. Hotel/Hostel mura lang din and decent enough naman. You can also ask some chinese to book the train or plane for you because they use booking sites that are cheaper but don't have english version - starts with Q.

Dito ako sa Nanshan bandang Ikea. It is a must to visit Great Wall kasi talaga habang nasa China tayo Goodluck on your Beijing trip with your family.
