^wow nice! Is that the peso equity or yung high dividend? Ngayon kasi parang mas mura yung high dividend.

^ Medyo not so relevant yung price per unit sis. Yung growth yung magdedetermine ng value ng funds mo in the future.

Since inception ng high dividend fund last year, halos same lang sila ng ROI ng Peso Equity.

For just 500k you get to become a 'gold' member so di ka na pipila, plus you get a free Enjoy card that gives you discounts to hotels , restos, etc.

Sa ibang bank wala man lang benefits kahit in the low millions na yung deposit mo. Sa kanila 500k lang, madami na perks.

Nag-complain ako sa isang thread about them dati, kasi I opened an account in a newly-opened branch and nobody there seemed to know what they were doing. Pero ngayon okay na. I hope they keep it up.

^^^I agree. Ever since a Security Bank opened near me, I have been sorely tempted to transfer all my banking with them.

But if you get that gold status (which is very easy to get because of the low $$$ requirement), you can withdraw even from ATMs of other banks free of charge! Ang ganda pa ng performance ng UITFs, and best of all, walang pila.

I was forced to transfer to SB din dahil ito nayung sa payroll namin.

I'm not planning to get my investment for 2-3 years.

BPI VS SB, may ALFM Mutual Fund ako, hanggang ngayon hindi pa din ako break-even. last July pa ako nag open :(

Is it a good time to open UITF peso equity or the high dividend UITF ngayon? Medyo mataas yata price ng units.

^ mataas compared to previous months, yes, pero mataas talaga lahat ngayon and based on the 2015 outlook, pataas ang trend for the rest of the year.

It might be hard to time the market, if you wait for it to go down, baka never ka na makapag-invest.

^Most likely because one of the securities they're invested heavily in took a hit on Monday. It pulled down the performance of their overall portfolio. No worries, it's still early in the year. And no changes in the fundamentals of their top 3 picks, which are NIKL, DNL, and URC, so no reason to stop investing.

^^ Yup, agree with ikaela. If you check din, PSEI is down til yesterday. Today green na ulit and up na din ulit ang SB funds.

I trust the fund manager(s) of SB to know what they're doing. If you compare the graphs of PSEI vs SB last year, the latter seem to handle downtrends well. Tapos they know how to outperform the market kapag uptrend. :)

Nakaka excite naman ang conversations here.. Looking forward to open a uitf account in SB. If I didn't have fixed plans this week, I would have gone and opened an account. Will try my best to squeeze next week..

Ang charge lang is yung 1.5% na trust fee (or fund management fee) per annum, and if i-reredeem mo before 30 days.
