Earrings for Newborn Baby

Hi sissies, i amplanning to buy earrings for my princess. She's 3weeks as of today. Is it safe to get her ears pierced at her age?  Her pedia said its ok daw naman. Also san kayo bumili?

^ pina-pierce ka na din ears ni baby girl ko during our first checkup with pedia, so 10days yata sya nun. Yung earrings, kay Doc na din ako kumuha. Small gold stud earrings.

Use the hypo allergenic ones that the pedia provides with the ear piercing. Pag - choog! andon na in place yung lightweight stud.

These are the safest for babies.   Most comfy too. Saka mo na lang palitan ng real gold ones after 1yo na.  Studs ha, never hoop earrings or creollas --  no matter how tiny -- these are dangerous for babies.

My baby had her ear pierced when she was 2days old, before we got discharged from the hospital. The pediatrician used hypoallergenic earrings.you can change the earrings after 6wks as per pediatrician's advise.

My daughter got her earrings when she was 3 months old. Her pedia made sure na walang kasabay na vaccine yung schedule ng piercing para hinde naman kawawa. For 2 years, puro hypoallergenic earrings lang pinapasuot ko sa kanya kase baka mawala lang.

i think mas advisable talaga for babies to wear those hypoallergenic ones muna..had the mistake of replacing it with the real gold earrings when baby  was around 6 mos, tapos after few mos lang nawala yung isa,,we were so worried na baka nalunok nya so pina-xray pa namin just to make sure, kasi di talaga namin mahanap..so now, switched back to hypoallergenic na lang kasi sayang naman kung mawawala lang ulit, sobrang likot pa kasi,,tinago ko na lang muna yung mga real gold nya

I am not sure kung meron at available ang hypoallergenic earrings sa Pedia ni Baby, but if not
or san ito available bilhin? Salamat po!

Ako kasi, allergic sa hindi tunay, kahit "hypoallergenic" e nangangati at nagsusugat ako.. so to be safe, baka kasi napasa ko pala kay baby yung allergy ko, gold na pinalagay namin. Natakot kasi kami baka mangati si baby, kawawa naman..

Yung iba nga sinulid lang pinapalagay after mabutasan e. Para daw mas safe na di malunok or something..

2 years old na baby girl ko pero ngayon ko palang sya papalagyan. kasi may habit sya nung baby sya na magpull ng ears. natakot kami ni hubby na baka mahila nya yung earring kung papalagyan na namin sya noon kaya dinelay muna namin.

magkano sis yung magpalagay sa pedia plus the hypoallergenic earrings? may allergy kasi ako sa ibang metal worry ko baka meron din sya

My baby also had her ears pierced when she was only 2 days old. Same time she had the newborn screening. For me kasi parang mas kawawa ang babies pag more than a month old na saka palalagyan ng earrings. Yung studs naman for babies ay super higpit talaga, mahirap tanggalin.

Meron sterilized studs (hypoallergenic) sa Landmark (Infants' Section).

May pedia naman recommended to have my daughter's ears be pierced pag 3-4 months na. Napansin daw kasi nya pag earlier napierce may tendency na di pantay ang butas paglaki.

anyway, her earrings is hypoallergenic as well,. we purchase it to her pedia.tama, okay na hypo allergenic earrings, i remember my panganay, nakailang buy ako ng gold earrings nya kase lage nawawala.

1000 including earrings AND  topical anesthesia (cream applied) para hindi mashado masaktan si baby. umiyak parin pero its because of the gulat factor kasi gun type yung mga pang pierce diba but after that as if nothing happened na

^ depende sayo yun sis. Yung baby ko 2 days old pa lang pina-pierce na namin ang ears. May mga pedia na nagrerecommend. Meron din nagsasabi wait for a few months. It's your call. For me kasi mas OK habang super liit pa dahil di pa nya gaano mararamdaman yun. Unlike pag a few months old na sya, magwawala na yan.
