^ why legal separation lang daw sis? why not go straight sa annulment? that way, you can remarry should you wish to. at least, you will regain your freedom and be single again. pag LS kasi, you are still married to him. yun nga lang, you can live separately from each other and you can have separate finances na.

sorry to hear about your situation? is there a third party involved?

Kung may third party involve on his side, best to get an annulment nalang.

If I recall correctly, GHARZ - you are already living separately from him.  He does not support you and your child financially, or hardly.   You have decided to get out of your relationship with him.

Give him what he wants. Let him spend for it, contribute just  your full cooperation.

Why not an annulment right off?
Mas madali, mabilis, & less costly to get a Legal Separation.
Do not try to read his mind. Just focus on what he says, walang dagdag, walang bawas.
Perhaps this is the best for now. So you can both individually  re-establish your separate orderly lives.

Take good care of yourself, always.

just curious if either gharz412 or her husband can still file for an annulment later on? say, if one of them wants to get married?

Yes, puede.

Nowadays, Annulments are harder to come by.  Some uncontested ones granted by the lower courts are reversed by the Supreme Court.
So the Legal Separation is the quicker dis-entanglement.

My husband is just now communicating with me if it's just about my baby. Kahit wala naman siyang participation since 7 months and now 1 year na baby ko magpaparamdam nalang bigla. :'( :'(

Normally for annulment to be granted, ang only grounds na puede nyo ifile is psychological incapacity. Does it really matter, if it is your ticket to freedom?  For me, with the Phil's justice system, it really does not matter. Parang lahat ng annulled celebrities din naman inamin at some point in their lives e psychologically unstable sila hehe.

As for grounds against you and support - hiwalay pa na issues iyan e.  Once annulment is filed and done with, tsaka ka na magfile for parent support, ibang kaso ulit ito.  Yung file nya against you, is kung gusto nya ng custody ng anak mo, if he thinks you are an unfit mother etc.

Yes, but it will be a long process.

Ang tanging disadvantage ng legal separation is hindi puede ikasal either one of them.

Just let it be.

Pero malalaki na mga anak ko, may skype na sila at kung ano anong chat, so they can easily communicate with each other if they want to. Ayoko din maging selfish, so ayan puede nila kausapin tatay nila if they want to.  Pero at the same time, loko loko din kasi yung tatay, nawawala madalas na parang bula, ilang beses na nagbibitaw ng salita na pupunta ako dyan pero di nya ginagawa, or magkikita tayo or some other grand plan which never materializes.  So ito yung gusto ko sana ishield from them yung "hurt" na nag e-expect sila then nothing.

Demanda mo for child support sis.

He wants us to talk daw about our child this wednesday. I still don't know if I will see him or not. I'm not yet ready to see him.

It doesn't matter if he has a job or not, he has to support the child and dapat he thought about that before quitting his job or not wanting to go back to work.

If he wants legal separation, that will cost in itself plus how much your asset/s are. Let him file for it so you don't have to pay and you'd just be the respondent.
