Cheating Issues
« on: October 09, 2014, 06:16:28 pm »
So you found out that his cheating on you. What would you do?

Do you automatically leave him or stay and give him another chance?

Our society will tell you to leave him for cheating on you but if you stay the people around you will tell you that you're stupid and a martyr for staying.

Time is changing so is the Filipinas. No more Maria Clara.

The big question is what would a modern Filipina choose?

Stay or leave?

Leave and find new love.
Stay and get even...

When it happened to me a few years ago, I walked away the first time I found out, no looking nor turning back. I don't deserve that, no one does. Ever.

I don't know what's worst; to cheat or be so dumb and careless you get caught.

Leave. No exceptions.

Walk away and never look back.
Life is too short to waste on someone who doesn't appreciate your worth.

Depende. Kung bf pa lang, leave na without looking back. Kung asawa na, papatawarin ko malamang for the sake of the kids.

^ kasi kung BF palang, you know he is weak.

No room for second chances. Di lang siya ang lalaki sa mundo. I don't deserve someone like him.
if in case we're already married and he'll cheat, i don't know if i can forgive and forget. maybe sa una I can pero sa 2nd time hiwalay kung hiwalay at sa akin ang kids. kasi kung papatawarin mo lang ng papatawarin gagawin ka naman t**** at uulitin ng uulitin.kasi alam niya na hindi mo siya hihiwalayan because may kids na involved.

Do you honestly think children wouldn't be affected if you stay in a failing marriage for their sake?

^ I think in general, karamihan naniniwala na mas mahirap maghiwalay dahil sa mga bata. Or kawawa ang bata kapag hiwalay.  Pero on the contrary, mas dapat mo nga protektahan ang kids mo sa sungay ng asawa mo. I think dahil nga sa culture natin ng machismo, generations after generations na ok lang may kabit, kaya hanggang ngayon, left and right ang pambababae  ng mga lalaki kasi lumaki sila sa environment na OK lang lokohin ang mga kababaihan.

Minsan naisip ko nga, ginagawa nalang rason ang bata for a cheated wife to stay, pero in reality, it is the concept of having "buo ang pamilya" that make them stay.

No. I won't stay. I'll leave him.

Cheating is a choice at pinili niya akong lokohin. So pipiliin ko rin na umalis na lang na lang siya sa buhay ko kesa ginagawa niya akong t@nga.

Tried both:
1. Leave immediately. Any other excuse to substantiate what he did is pointless. He did it to you once, he'll certainly do it again. Make him realize what he'll be missing.
2. Get even - tried this too. Poor guy though as he ended up falling for me. Told him I wasn't ready for what he's offering. He is now in Dubai with his GF.

Based on my experience, i left. Then siguro after a month or so we got back together (marupok lang). After a few months may bago na namang nilalandi. So lesson learned. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Do you ever ask yourself or him why he cheated? Do you think you had any contribution to the cheating?

^You mean like tinulak ba siya papunta sa ibang babae? Hahaha.

No.

When you cheat, own it as your fault. Don't put the blame on your partner. You're free to do what you want. If there are existing problems in the relationships, you can choose to resolve that or walk away instead of cheating.

Just no.

makes sense.

if there is an issue, one should bring it up and talk about it, and both should cooperate. I think this question is from a very known scenario. e.g. lack of attention, no time for one another, ignoring small issues, then bam! hahaha.
