Food for Suppliers on Wedding Day PART 2

Hi sis decibel28! Yes, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our wedding was 4pm pero maaga ang suppliers kaya need sila pakainin. Usually, stated din yun sa contract nila and isa yun sa bibilin sayo ng coordinator mo.

Our HMUA was the first one to arrive at 8am. Hindi naman kami nag prepare ng breakfast.

I paid P150 per head, we got Jollibee and water for the crew and also for the bridal party.

Thank you Ladies for all the input Sige I'll check one by one yung contracts with each supplier and consider ko na din siguro breakfast, lunch, and dinner especially for those suppliers na nandun talaga very early and hanggang sa gabi.

If you can recommend a really good supplier of crew meals in Tagaytay, I would really appreciate it I will also discuss with Angelfields if they can cater to my suppliers as well Thank you!!!

^^ Try contacting Chew Go in Tagaytay, tho wala sila contact details directly sakin, Ms. Kris (Coordinator) arranged everything na, 85 for breakfast and 120 for lunch. I ordered pax for bfast and lunch, assorted. Everyone said the food is delicious and enough yung serving.

Mga sis, we're planning to avail Packed Gourmet for our suppliers.
However, sa contract ng isa naming supplier may option lang na: Plated meal from Caterer or Meal Allowance.
If I choose Meal allowance, hindi ko na ba talaga sila isasama sa count ng order ko sa Packed Gourmet? Hehe.. worried lang ako na baka magutom sila. Pero may meal allowance naman.

Hi pinkmoscato I'm actually considering din Packed Gourmet though we haven't inquired with them yet. Would you share yung rates nila? Para magka idea lang din ako coz around half of our suppliers we'll provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you!

It's 150 per meal (2 rice, 1 main, 1 side and bottled water). I personally have tried one of their meals and masarap naman sya. Laki din ng servings. They have an ongoing promo sa WaW until June 23. You guys might want to check it out.

^ are you a wedding supplier? I tried to join pero puro paasa lang ang nakuha kong reply. Haha! Sabi ng friend ko na close dun sa admins, I can't join daw kasi I am a freelance photographer.

Anyway, you can avail of their ongoing online fair naman kahit hindi ka member. Just go to their website.

I got Butchik Specialty Meals for our wedding, lunch and dinner. Sulit sya kasi for P125, you get 2 viands, 1 cup of rice (malaki naman), may chocnut pa. Masarap naman sya, natry ko yung cordon bleu and burger steak. Marami din yung selections nya and generous naman yung servings.

I suggest you buy bottled water na lang from the grocery. Meron P5 lang for a 330ml bottle. we bought 750 bottles for preps and for our snack bags para sa guests after the ceremony. Nagdala rin ata yung coordinator ko sa reception venue for the suppliers. May sobra pa.

Hi sisses! pwede po kaya na yung crew meal price ay mas mababa sa expected price ng supplier? For example po expected nila na worth ng food is 200 pero ang food lang po na ia-avail ko is 150. Okay lang po kaya yung ganon though wala naman naka-indicate sa contract nila na may exact amount for the crew meal?

^ Yes, that's completely fine. If walang naka-specify na amount sa contract, it will be up to you. Choosy pa ang suppliers? Lol. I myself is a supplier sometimes and hindi naman ako nageexpect na mahal ang ipapakain samin. Basta hindi kami magutom ng bongga solb na.

Hello! Question lang, do you think mas okay ang packed meal with the suppliers? Or yung parang buffet style nalang in the kitchen or in one room?

I was thinking kasi if I'll go for packed meals or yung parang magpaluto ng say 3 or 3 viands then good for a certain number of people. Thanks!

@decibel28 better if packed na parang clear yung allotment nila. Kasi baka merong sobrang kumuha, maubusan pa yung iba. Or parang mahiya sila kumuha dahil baka maubusan nila yung ibang suppliers, tapos magutom sila. Hehe.

Agree with packed meals. Suppliers don't eat naman nang sabay sabay to make sure na covered pa din ang event properly.

@michie25, hindi naman siguro. Just make sure lang na hindi magugutom ang suppliers... Kasi dun for sure may masasabi talaga sila hehe. Also note to give their food on time. Been on a wedding na 4pm na namin nakain yung supposed to be lunch kasi hindi nacoordinate properly yung delivery. We have no choice but to work as normal pero syempre gutom na gutom na kami and hindi naman makaalis since ongoing na yung ceremony. So ayun.

^^ It will be a long and tiring day for your Suppliers, try your best to provide rice meals, ok ang bread for snacks during their breaks. Silogs are always a good idea.
