Clients shall provide meals - Hotel Plate meal,  Buffet meal or Meal allowance of 500 pesos per performer which should also be paid 2 weeks before the event or earlier. WE DON'T ACCEPT Crew Meals and Packed Meals...Ty.

Wow ha! I'm sorry but if crew meals are good enough for big-time suppliers like Jason Magbanua, then they're good enough for you too. Ano ka, guest?

Sorry mga sis, na turn-off kasi ako sa part na yan ng terms niya, especially with the way it was presented ("WE DONT ACCEPT" in caps and "Ty" at the end).

Just to share, I also had an experience where a supplier told me "we would appreciate to be part of the buffet!" so medyo tumaas kilay ko doon. (Disclaimer: this isn't for my wedding; it was for another party I was planning.) Siguro kulang pa siya sa customer service training because their group is relatively new to the industry pero nakaka-turn off lang.

Or it's also possible that these suppliers experience not being fed well. Just recently another florist complained on FB that all that was given to her crew was noodles, puto and juice. I won't judge and say that grabe naman yung couple na yun, noodles lang (what if spaghetti yun with meat sauce? that sounds ok) but my guideline for feeding my wedding suppliers will be: within the budget but something that I will personally eat if I was working a 10 to 12-hour shift.

Thanks for posting these kinds of things. Good thing that there are so many suppliers to choose from, so it should be easy to drop those that sound so arrogant even in their websites. I can just imagine the kind of nightmares you as a bride can experience working with these kinds of so-called artists. Anyway, I am all for treating your suppliers well, but at the end of the day, they are providing a service that you are paying them for, so I see no reason for them to act like divas, unless they are big names and you, as the one paying for them, accept the big behaviors that go with divas.

grabe naman tong mga suppliers na to. hindi man lang optional, talagang required! buti nalang wala sa suppliers ko ang ganyan, im planning to give 150 pesos for lunch sa kanilang lahat kasi higpit sofitel. then crew meal for dinner pero papakainin ko sa buffet yung mga coordinators, sila lang kasi ang girls na supplier ko sa reception

Omg. My musicians indicated their request as plated meals from the same caterer too or 300/head meal allowance but not that balahura naman ang pagkakasabi.

I just wonder why a florist would complain sa food? Are they or should be included sa prepared crew meal? yes we can offer them to eat lalo na they can see others are eating. But for florists/stylists team after setup they can go naman na and they can eat outside na diba? unlike others na from prep to the main event and after present pa rin. just need your thoughts lang so I know to handle this.

^ sis zizichick, during my meetings with florists/stylists, they mentioned that they start setting up as early as 7 AM for an afternoon wedding and even much earlier if your reception venue will have draping. One stylist told me they start at midnight for drapes.

I'm sure this will vary depending on your setup (requirements, size of venue) and supplier to best to check with them. Also try to get their ingress schedule kasi baka x number of crew lang ang kailangan for draping so you only need to feed them am snacks + lunch, tapos yung remaining number na mag-aayos ng reception venue yung kakain ng lunch + pm snacks. Your OTD coordinator should help with this.

As for the florist complaining about food -- hehe, baka nakulangan sila sa noodles. Personally for me, her public complaint was done in poor taste. I don't like it when suppliers rant in public unless sobrang grave offense... but even then, mas professional to discuss offline with the parties involved.

^yes sis reese17 and I believe na out of courtesy na lang kaya tayo nag/magpro-provide ng crew meal even before the event. Most workers kahit saang industries buy their known food from own pockets naman diba? In the event itself, it is a given naman kasi na kainan nga yung event tapos may taong di pwedeng kumain.

Kaya lang masyadong OA din yung masyadong maka-imply ng sobrang choosy pa na meals nila sa contract. And for the client like us din naman, be considerate na lang din.

^^lol!! Actually sis, I confirmed quiet a few times na musicians talaga will eat in the buffet.. I asked about this (kase nagulat din ako when I read our contract with our musicians) although mas polite naman ang pagkakasabi sa contract. Ganun daw talaga, (kinonfirm ng coord ko din) and they eat even before reception starts. So better check with them para wala ng shocking factor next time. I actually appreciate din na they better tell me in advance what they prefer kaysa I-shout out nila ako sa facebook!

^my thoughts too! Actually i was quite surprised when i first found out that we have to provide crew meals or allowances in the wedding industry when all other kinds of industries do not expect that. I mean, i dont go to the office and expect or demand that i be fed by my employer di ba? Its just weird how this practice started. And super demanding pa nung iba, anlabo lang. Just saying ;P
