Food for Suppliers on Wedding Day PART 2

^ Sis, based sa mga suppliers ko na nakausap ko, they prefer lutong bahay food rather than fast food meals esp sa photo, video and coordinator teams. Sila kasi haos whole day sa wedding mo. Syempre mostly sa mga lalaki, malakas kumain ng rice. So you have to consider it din.

Does CCME deliver in Tagaytay? Baka mahal din ang OOT fee, sayang din naman. Sana may Tagaytay-based supplier for crew meals, aside sa Packed Gourmet, para may other options pa.

thank God i found this thread. ngayon ko lang narealize kailangan nga pala nito. morning ang wedding ko, and we will rent a rental house in tagaytay para maluwag for preps. ^talaga sis ok lang sa kanila ang lutong bahay? kasi plan ko magpapaluto lang talaga ko sa yaya namin sa madaling araw, yun ang food namin. family ko, family ni groom at yung 6 abays namin. and then P/V, HMUA. yun lang naman crew ko sa preps. bali sa lunch time, siguro packed meals nalang..? d ko ito nasama sa budget, i have to squeeze this pa pala.

since malapit lang ang venue namin sa bahay ni h2b at afternoon wedding kame, magpapaluto na lang ako ng lunch tapos dadalhin kung san ang preps dahil ang dating ng mga suppliers is around 10am.
ang importante lang naman talaga sa suppliers is wag makalimutan yung needs nila like food & water especially since ang coverage talaga ng wedding ay umaabot ng one whole day. add to that na sila malamang ang pinaka-busy throughout the wedding.

i'm planning na bumili ng maraming bottled water tapos ilagay sa portable cooler na accessible sa lahat ng suppliers para kumuha na lang sila pag nauuhaw sila. also, baka magbigay din kame ng mga snacks like biscuits, crackers or chips para may pwede silang kainin ng mabilisan in between lunch & dinner.

yung dinner ang for delivery ko na lang para less hassle for everyone. if you have a coordinator, they allow naman na bigyan mo sila ng budget tapos sila na ang bahala umorder at mag-distribute to the rest of your suppliers. if not, pwede ka naman siguro humingi ng favor sa isang friend or kamag-anak to oversee this.

^sis f878 thanks for the idea of the water cooler. tama. portable cooler para may water sila. kasi shempre mauuhaw at mauuhaw at magugutom sila. we have to be extra nice sa mga supplier natin. yes i plan to delegate the tasks to my abays. kasi my abays are best friends and sis in laws. so i will assign tasks to them, like, o ikaw bahala dito sa p/v team natin. magbbriefing din naman kami the day before wedding. goodluck to all of us

I called CCME to ask if they deliver in Tagaytay, and yes, they do! yehey! Delivery charge is 1,500 daw but the one I've talked to is not so sure. Let's just assume maybe between that range.
At least I'm done hunting for a supplier meal.

We are thinking of getting packed meals from our caterer. Have yet to discuss with them though.

we have the same plan sis f878!  I'll bring portable cooler too so that my suppliers can have cold drinks whenever they want to.

Sharing you my plan for my suppliers' meal for our afternoon wedding:

LUNCH delivery from CCME. This will be our food for all whomever is in the prep area (family, entourage & suppliers). I want it buffet style, so that they can get whatever and as much as they like. But since the suppliers are too busy or always in action, they don't have enough time to sit down for their food, I'll provide for them a plastic container (a big one with portions) and disposable utensils so that they will have an option to bring the food wherever and eat anytime they like. At least they can still choose what food they want and the servings. Unlike on those packed meals, limited options and fixed amount of food.

SNACK - Jollibee or McDonald's Cheeseburger. I'll ask my coordinator na magpadeliver.

DINNER - Still undecided if CCME pa din or the supplier meal offered by our caterer, KbyC. If pasok pa sa budget, I might get our caterer na lang. If not, CCME na lang ulit. I'll just ask for another delivery para naman bagong luto and hot pa yung food for dinner.

EXTRA - I'll provide candies and chocolates too! (yung mga individually wrap mini chocolates). I'll put it all in a plastic container and ask coordinator to distribute sa mga supplier na may gusto. I thought of this to give the supplier some sugar rush! hehe.. especially the chocolates! it can make everyone's mood elated! And if they're working happy, the output will be better. 
 - and as I've mentioned above, unlimited cold bottled water.

Hopefully I can deliver all my plans. And I hope my suppliers will notice my extra effort of feeding them well, and give me a high quality of work in return.

Tagaytay Brides: Theres a new restau in Tagaytay called Deli San Honore. Sabi ng friend ko they cater daw for small group. I emailed them last night for the rates pag nag-reply iPost ko dito.  meron na din akong rates ng party trays ng Packed Gourmet. Im still waiting for DSH's reply then ill decide.

Sis macbride, thanks so much. Forwarded email to H2B, mukhang bet din nia. Mas malaki matitipid namin. I think super OK na yun sa brunch (ceremony will start 3pm kasi) so for the suppliers who will be earlier and to those na mga relatives na nasa hotel na, super duper OK na yung naka tray na mga ulam. Kesa naman McDo, na i think pinkamalapit sa hotel prep namin.

Sa dinner naman, i think kuha na lang ng half na crew meal, the other half, sa buffer na lang. Bahala na daw si coord sa crewmeal. 😊😊😊
