^heads up lang sis don na din kami nag dinner kasi parang walang kainan na malapit eh. pricey talaga pero worth it yung experience. Sa lahat ng hotels na napag stayan namin sa Japan, sa Futon Bed pinakamasarap na tulog namin hehe

^ thanks sis. kaya medyo ayaw ni hubby dahil sabi nya hindi naman daw kami makapag-bath dalawa, so parang ang mahal daw para lang matulog sa futon bed. Meron ako nakita private bath suuuper mahal! hehe.. but research research pa din ako.

^late na sinabi ng husband ko sakin na meron palang private sana kinuha nalang namin yun. Medyo boring kasi para kang nasa retreat house. Walang tv walang internet. May wifi naman pero may areas lang na meron. Pero masaya na din kasi nakapag bonding talaga kami.

hi, pardon me if this is off topic. If my itinerary will be Manila-Tokyo-Osaka-Manila and i will be visiting Kyoto in between, is it advisable to get JR Pass (7 days) or less expensive without it?

Hello,

I'm fainalizing our itinerary na. March 18-25 Manila-Osaka then Tokyo-Manila. I came up with the below itinerary.

March 18- Wed arrival 8PM Kansai airport. Is it advisable po ba to get Icoca lang or Icoca plus Haruka package? Hotel namin in Osaka is Toyoko Inn Hankyu - 5-minute walk from Juso Train Station.

Tapos yung Osaka tour namin on March 19, should I buy Osaka One-Day Pass (800 yen) or just use Icoca?

Dotonburi / SHINSAIBASHI

Tapos yung sa Kyoto namin on March 20-21, I'm thinking of getting Kyoto One Day Bus Card (500 yen). Pwede po bang 2 separate one day bus card kunin?

Arashiyama Bamboo Grove/Togetsukyo Bridge

If you are planning to take the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka, I recommend getting the JR Pass. You can also use it when riding on any JR train in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. To compute the cost of individual train fares vis-a-vis the JR Pass (around 12,000 PHP), check Hyperdia.

@huit: sa disneyland, may mall before the train station going to the resort. May food court yun sa basement

you can eat there first before going to disneyland if ayaw mo sa park kumain. Masarap nga popcorn sa disneysea

Mga sis, advice please. December lang kasi ako talaga pwede, and I'm really very eager to go to Japan, kahit na winter. I have winter clothes naman. Okay kaya 2nd week of December?

I plan to do MNL-KIX then NRT-MNL pauwi. 6 days lang yan, so I was wondering if okay ba yung 6 days considering na Osaka ang papunta and I have to go to Tokyo? I backread naman mukhang ito usually yung length for a trip like this. Might do solo, so I can manage my own time. Siyempre wala naman ako masyado gagawin pag mag-isa.

Hope anyone can help! Hehe. Sobrang atat na ako eh.

^ sis kaya yan. Kami 4 whole days Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo. Excluding na arrival since super late na and departure which is maaga naman.

Thank you sa cebu pac. We will be spending christmas in tokyo. Got tickets 4300/ person. For JR passes we got ours sa Attic Travel last oct for 10,800 in pesos na.

How about the weather pala in December? Is it too dry? Or enjoyable pa rin naman basta ready ka for winter?

Hi mga sis.. Subscribing.

Just booked a flight earlier for Sept 15-22. Manila-Osaka-Tokyo-Manila. Ang mura lang, P4,500 with 15kg baggage allowance roundtrip na.

Basically 6 whole days lang ang meron kami kasi 8pm na ang arrival sa Kansai airport sa 15. Then 11am naman ang departure sa Narita airport ng 22.

I have no idea pa kung saan pupunta and kung anong mga tourist spots na must-see. Pwede ba makahiram ng travel itinerary nyo along with the budget? Really hope someone is kind enough to help me with this. It will be my first time in Japan and I have no idea where to start.

^ sis Rasee16. Start by reviewing http://www.japan-guide.com/ para alam mo what places to visit. Totally clueless rin ako last year, research and research lang. I'll share my itinerary so you would have an idea. 4 whole days lang kami so I think pwede ka mag add one more day sa Kyoto or Osaka then another sa Tokyo.

Day 1 - Kyoto
- Fushimi Inari
- Arashiyama (Bamboo Forest)
- Kinkakuji
*You can always add another tourist spot

Day 2 - Osaka
- Universal Studios

Day 3 - Tokyo
- Odaiba
- Akihabara

Day 4
- Gala Yuzawa snow ski resort
- Shibuya

Day 1 - arrived at Osaka. checked in at Hotel Consort
Day 2 - USJ and Dotonbori
Day 3 - Kyoto, checked in at Sumiya Kiho-an for Ryokan
Day 4 - checked out, checked in at Reiah Hotel, went to Fushimi-Inari Shrine tapos naglibot lang kami around Kyoto
Day 5 - checked out, went to Tokyo checked in at Sunroute Hotel. went to Shibuya.
Day 6 - Meiji Shrine, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara
Day 7 - Disneyland, went to Gundam Statue at Odaiba

ayan lang napuntahan namin sis, 2 pax kami. for visa basta prepare mo lang ITR, bank certificate, birth certificate, coe at itinerary mo. enjoy japan sis!
