anyone tried j franco digital films yet? we booked them for our wedding. they have a lot of good reviews din kasi & I've watched their videos na din maganda naman. thanks

met him sa bridal fair nung feb. super sulit nung binigay na package sa amin 60k lahaaaat na ng kaartehan kasama. lol ultimo aerial at kung ano anong anek swear. haha. we were really enticed ni groom ko to reserve na but sabi ko balik kami the next day (sabado nun, so sunday namin balak bumalik ng SMX). mabait sya as in. but the night before the next day na sinabi namin babalik kami, napansin ko halos walang portfolio yung photog team na ka-tie-up nila... so i backed out. kung video lang rin at sya lang ang icoconsider, oks na sana i dunno lang baka naman nakapag upload na yung photog team nila ngayon hehe! we just went the next day to book KbyC na lang rin but di na kami dumaan sa booth nila ulit. i just explained it to him via email.

im alarmed by the recent discussion in w@w tungkol sa pag double book ni dreamechanics. there are two brides there that has the same wedding day and both were given the promise that teej and mel will be there to cover their wedding. OMG. i dont know if they double booked us too, but i really hope not. ill try to give them a call tomorrow to clarify. d pa naman ako magaling sa confrontation d ko rin alam kung anong gagawin ko if they say na may kasabay nga kami.

should i cancel? pano yung dp? we already paid 13k. babalik nanaman ako sa paghahanap ng videographer

if i dont cancel, hayaan ko na lang hindi masunod yung napagusapan? im the morning wedding, so does that mean sisibat sila agad when its time to prepare for the afternoon gig?

sobrang heartbreaking. they were one of the first suppliers we ever booked kasi we really love their work... tapos ganito. they are not that expensive but they're not cheap either. i really didn't expect to encounter this kind of issue with them.

Omg bzbee!!! Hindi na ko naubusan ng ikakastress. Waahhh wer is your wedding? Siguro sakin since pampanga bride ako,mdi naman siguro sila magdodouble booking kasi out of town diba. Haaayy bakit sila ganyan, actually kaya ka mapapabook agad kasi when you ask them if 1 event per day, yes agad sagot nila. Tsk tsk

Double-booking should not have been an issue if Dreamechanics really has more than one team handling weddings. Pero ang masama is that they tell potential clients that they only do 1 wedding per day, and that they outright advertise that they will both be there to cover the event. Tapos yun pala ang definition nun is that they will both be there at some point in time but not both from start to finish. And apparently they said that they do this all the time. Fail.

I felt so bad reading about it... yung hindi mo pa nga nakakawork naloko ka na. I hope they both sort things out. Honestly, if i were in their shoes i would retrieve my DP asap and book someone else. Everyone wants to make money but not at the expense of delivering fair service.

^The wedding is a year away (thank god) but the two brides discovered each other in w@w, that they both booked Dreamechanics for the same day. Isang morning isang hapon yata sila, prob is 10am ang calltime ng 3pm wedding yata so i dont know how they can squeeze in the earlier one. One wedding is in  Glass Garden and the other in Makati pa. Point is, disappointing lang how mislead they have been at the point of booking (both have paid DP). Because di siguro nila binook yun if they knew na di nila solo yung team for that day. Umamin daw si Dreamechanics na balak nila puntahan both, pero partially (not from start to end) nandun si Teej and Melanie. Sanay na daw sila gawin yun, which goes against what they promise when they advertise.

Anyways... i think at least one of them is wanting to back out naman and ask for a full refund. Good riddance.

to my fellow dreamechanics brides, anong gagawin natin? i feel so deceived and im thinking of backing out na kaso sayang lang talaga ang downpayment. even if sabihin nila na wala naman akong kasabay, im not guaranteed na hindi rin sila tatanggap ng bookings on our date eventually. yung nakalagay nga sa contract, they didn't honor, pano pa kaya yung verbal promise lang? sobrang turnoff. if they did double book us baka ma-badtrip lang ako when i see them on our wedding day. ang mahirap kasi kita naman sa recent videos nila that their output is sacrificed and ive read a lot of reviews sa w@w rin na hindi dumarating sa wedding nila either si teej or mel, eto pala yung reason why.

^ aww sis chili ikaw pala yun. thanks for sharing and i hope you get it all sorted out soon. ako nga hindi na makatulog because of this, paano pa kaya kayo. ill also try talk to them tomorrow, h2b still wants to give them a chance to explain. sana naman they'll give the refund when it comes to it.

there are tons of videographers out there. if i was in this position, i will drop the booking. i value mutual trust very much and if i have been deceived from the start, i will never have the peace of mind na sana binabayaran mo kaya ka nagbbook ng trusted suppliers.

Usually hindi naman yata kasi naka-indicate sa contract that both of them will be there diba..so madaling takasan what they said verbally. Malalaman mo lang after the wedding when you can't really do anything about it na. Pero i was surprised na even ito na nasa contract for both of them to be present, yun pala partially lang ang balak nila so that they can do two weddings.. So disappointing.

I was about to point out na baka wala ka namang ka-double booking kaya baka di ka i-refund. But you're right, the moment they accept another gig (which they can hide from you), same scenario na and technically you qualify for a refund too. Question is malalaman mo ba, baka they wont disclose kase their other events

Sis bzbee! Sorry I deleted me earlier comment. Heheh I erased it because I think for now I will keep quiet first about the it. This is also because H2B and I haven't decided/finalized everything in order to fix this double booking issue.

I am just thankful that my twin/double booked bride is very nice and we have been chatting all day.

I will update you guys after everything has been settled =)

aww sis ikaw pala yun? Usap lang kayo mabuti ng Dreamechanics sis, nakakaloka ang double booking na yan ( Pero since matagal tagal pa naman ang wedding, baka maayos naman.

Haay ano ba yan.  dreamechanics din ako.  nakakainis na sila.  ano ba dapat kong itanung or sabihin sa kanila about this issue?  Yoko din na mangyari sa amin yung double booking.

Ang nangyari sakin, nawala yung main photog during the reception, tapos na ang reception at nakauwi na lahat ng tao, nagliligpit na rin ang team nya bago siya dumating. tinanong ko kung saan siya nanggaling, sabi nya sa  tabi tabi lang.

Ang sabi ng coordinator ko, baka nakimeeting. If this is the case, hindi ito yung first time na gawin niya ito sa amin.

Chili, buti nalang you found out! It's appalling how they've intentionally mislead their clients -- sinabi pa talaga nila sayo na lagi nilang ginagawa. Grabe. I'm sure you'll find a great new videographer; I remember you were having doubts about Dreamechanics a while back anyway. Siguro nga it's not meant to be talaga.
