Davao City and Samal Island Thread 9

Recently had our Davao trip and I just want to give back here in GT.

We arrived around 5 p.m. We did a little night tour and went to the following places:

1. Japanese tunnel - nice naman sya. informative. entrance fee is Php50 pesos, with tour guide na
2. Durian Factory - bumili lang ng mga durian candies and other pasalubongs
3. Bahay ni Duterte - nacurious lang kami dahil lahat ng tao pumupunta dun!
4. Jack's Ridge - had our dinner. Medyo matagal pila but sa babang part which is yung bar, walang pila and same food din naman. Masarap ang food and okay na for the price.
5. People's Park - dumaan lang kami because we are so tired already.

Next day, we went to Pearl Farm - Well, although expensive, sulit naman ang bayad mo! Great for rest and relaxation. Maganda yung beach nila. Malaki yung place na pag di ka mageeffort di mo maiikot. Nice rooms, especially yung nasa dagat mismo. May game room, which has billiards and others.. May infinity pool. All-in sulit naman! plus of course peaceful talaga, di maraming tao

For our last day, we went to Eden Resort and Crocodile Farm.
 1. Eden Resort - maganda ang view. TAke the shuttle unless gusto nyo maglakad. May trekking din.   
We had our lunch buffet also. Sulit na din naman!  Then yung mga rides sa Eden, masaya din! tried the skycyling! sulit for only 200 pesos!
2. Crocodile Farm - medyo pambata pero dahil may kasama kaming bata okay na din. but medyo mainit (mainit din kasi panahon nung nandun kami). kung wala kayong kasamang bata, you can skip this.
3. Dinner at Marina Tuna - sarap ng seafoods!

We were supposed to go to other places but matagal kami sa Eden, which is sulit naman!

^hi angelholics, budget for that trip was 15k per person, including airfare and van rentals, taxi if necessary. Actually, less than 15k would do, kaya lang nagcheck-in pa kami sa hotel before the flight dahil delayed flight namin. But we got the PEarl farm at a discounted rate dahil lean season.

Hi!!!!! Can you please suggest yung beach na hindi matao ngayon sa davao or yung under development pa? Been to isla reta, canibad  babusanat punuan na kasi tao doon wala man lang privacy hahhaha pleaseeee suggest kayooooo yung gusto namin tahimik at virgin ang island

may time na nagtaxi kami, from hotel (Red Planet) going to Pearl farm Wharf. Okay naman kasi isang direcho lang. but kung magttour kayo, mas okay van rental, kasi minsan looban or malayo [textspeak!] mga lugar, walang taxi!

Sis @itskat paano kayo nagbook sa red planet hotel? Ang dami ko ng email sa kanina never sila sumagot.

^Hi yannah12! email lang din ako sa red planet. try contacting them through facebook din siguro just to ask them bakit di sumasagot sa email. Sakin kasi mabilis naman sumagot.

Sa pearl farm naman, we just got the lean season rates sis, no extra discount naman. I just called through their manila hotline, ask mo lang if may promos or discounts, then kung lean season ka pupunta sasabihin naman nila sayo yung price. I think mas mura kung marami kasi ang extra person sa isang room is around 2,500 with breakfast na, so lumiliit and divisor per room.

Just got back from Davao. We stayed in Go Hotel. Sulit na din, value for money. P2500 for 5 nights. It's quite near Damosa and SM Lanang.

Stayed in Pearl Farm for 1 night, Samal House (room) is the best for me, especially for couples

We preferred a self-drive car, we rented to go around the city. Easy naman to go to Eden, Phil Eagle, Malagos, Aldevinco, etc

Sa mga nagbabalak pumunta ng davao jan! Magdalawang isip na kayong pumunta, mainit sa mata ng mga terrorista ngayon ang davao , wala si president duterte sa davao , di natatakot mga terorista the more na maraming tao davao mas  dadami ang threat sa davao kaya magdalawang isip na kayo lalo na aalis si duterte , he is nit the same as the his daughter and son kaya nagbabalak mag migrate jan or magbakasyon , goodluck to you!

It was more of a statement by a terrorist group than the lack of leadership which was why there was a bomb explosion last night.  And be reminded of Oplan Greenfield which an ewan na senator has failed to follow-up.  The series of bombings back then was masterminded by heartless offals in power.

Anyway, Let's pray for davao and the whole country. I feel sad kasi i really felt safe in davao when i went there. The night market was open area and big area. Challenge talaga to detect any suspicious stuff there, pano pa kaya na people were unaware.

PS: still planning to have a house there

Haha sorry po marami na pong tourista sa davao... May nagreport na po na may bombing na magaganap sa mga malls aand especially mataong lugar,, goodluck na lang po the more na maraming tao sa davao mas mainit po sa mata ng mga terrorists lalo na yung mga places na matao... I do not hate davao but knowing the current state of the city first hand  goodluck .... Just be safe... Lahat po ng tao ngayon sa davao nasa kanilang mga bahay lang nagtatago..

Anyway, planning to go back here. Di ko pa nalilibot ng buo at natatry lahat ng tourist spots. Yung Eden, di ko pa napuntahan. Medyo kinulang ako sa time when I went there.
