How to handle taking care of two babies at the same time?

Just looking for tips from moms who have two babies or more. How do you handle taking care of them at the same time? Si yaya ba sa older kid while the mom takes care of the younger baby? Paano ang household chores like laundry, cleaning the house and cooking?

Same question! How do you divide your time?

My plan for now...current yaya of my daughter will become baby boy's yaya as she has experience with newborns. Baby boy will sleep with me while I'm on maternity leave and yaya to help out during the day. She will do the sterilizing rin and in charge of anything related to baby boy.

Current HH will become my toddler daughter's yaya. Unfortunately looking after my daughter is a full time job, she's so likot! In less than a second she could already be at the top of the couch/chair/table, etc. She will also be charge of my daughter's meals, school prep, etc.

We plan to get another HH as all around to do chores - sana we can get one who knows how to cook. Current HH is a good cook so if I can't find one who knows how to cook upfront, current HH to cook and teach new HH.

Haha interested to see tips from this thread!  ::)

Re childcare, right now I only have one yaya, and tag-team kami with the two kids during the day. Like after breastfeeding and changing my boy when he wakes up, I hand him over to the yaya who plays with him while I give breakfast to my eldest (daughter) and gve her her vitamins/meds. Then switch kami so I can b/f my boy again and toothbrush and play naman sina daughter and yaya. Then I mind both kids while yaya takes merienda and rests a bit. Then when she comes back she minds my boy again and I get my girl ready for preschool (dress up, fix schoolbag, lesson-related play, etc.). Then b/f again kami ni boy while my daughter watches TV and yaya preps her snacks for school, sterilizes, etc. While my daughter is in preschool, I mind my boy while yaya eats, then ako naman maglulunch, then I mind my boy while yaya does other things and rests. Right before daughter gets home, yaya comes back inside to play with baby boy so I can make salubong my girl when she comes home from school. Tapos repeat exchanges between the kids. :)

Ayun. So basically it's a tag-team effort between yaya and me during the day. :) and when hubby gets home and can help out after the nightly conf calls, great! Hehe.

I'm working on a night shift pero pabor sa akin ito kasi I have more time with my kids. Yung panganay ko 4 years old then yung second 9 months old, parehong boys so parehong makulit.

8AM - 830 AM - Dating ko sa bahay from work. Take a bath.
Hehe
2PM dating ni Kuya from school.
8PM - Dating na ni Hubby from work.

i am pregnant right now. by the time i give birth to my newborn, my other child will be 1yr and 4 months old. natatakot na ko sa hirap na mangyayari. isa lang ang yaya ko ngayon sa bahay. i basically take care of my kid so si yaya nakakapaglaba, luto at linis ng bahay. pero pag nanganak na ko, worry ko kung papano na ang household chores.

^in  my case, yaya's sole responsibility is to take care of my daughter. I have a HH to do all other chores. So with the new baby coming, will have my current HH become the yaya of my daughter, current yaya to become the baby's yaya and we will hire another HH.

Unfortunately my daughter is not at the age to be left alone at any time. I get worried nga when she goes quiet, usually means she's up to something!
