^hi sis! okay naman si tippy nice and very bubbly. when i was preparing my wedding madalas nakakasama ko din siya an chikka galore kasi yung ibang wawie friends ko siya yung hmua, so kahit di ko siya hmua nakakasalamuha ko siya. love na love din naman siya ng mga bride niya. for me okay naman yung make up niya medyo classic yung type ng makeup niya.

How much ba usually rates ng MUA for wedding packages? May kakilala ako ng MUA ng Bobbi Brown, he's offering me 18k for my friend's wedding. Usually daw 25k.. Is this reasonable?

Sis pang ilang pax daw ang 18k? Kc if you check old posts and older threads, yang 18k would be a number of heads na. For me kasi sa hmua ko, bride plus groom makeover 10k then nag add ako 2k for airbrush but succeeding heads 1k and 550 for kids.

pabalik-balik ako sa page ni eds go haha! sana kasi yung ibang hmua mag invest din sa magandang digicam para sana masabi maigi if okay yung makeups.. kapag professional photos kasi babasehan malamang enhanced na... val, nini or eds pa rin talaga ako so far... di lang type ni h2b yung mga recent pics ni nini.. baka may mga dumating na okay eventually.

3k nga may airbrush na eh kung 18k tapos bride and groom grabe naman sa mahal, may mua friend din ako sa ng bobbi brown pero hindi ganyan kalaki maningil. Kung that expensive yun well known mua na kunin niya

Help! I am doing an out of town prenup and with the HMUAs i've asked so far it seems like it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to bring a HMUA along! Gulp! I am obviously not willing since it will cost me more than half of what it cost me to get the photographer if ever :| Parang so unreasonable.

Overnight kasi kami since Ilocos is quite far to travel by land. Im looking for a HMUA who will do at least 3 looks for a whole day shoot (with travel time between venues). Preferably and hopefully below 8k with out of town charges already. Can anyone recommend someone? Going rates for the ones I've asked are 6-12k without out of town fee pa and without room (which i will also shoulder but bigger issue sakin is the high base rate). TIA!

Sis in case makahanap ka hmua locally na nasa ilocos baka pwede mo din maging option yun. Nakapag inquire ka na ba with Diane Coles? Ang alam ko kasi yung 3k traditional nya 2 looks then 3.5k for airbrush and both packages are with two looks na. November 2014 yung email namin na yun. Check mo baka pwedeng gawing 3 looks hehe and if how much oot nya if ilocos plus yung other requests mo.

Anne Garcia naman 3.5k traditional 3 looks and 4.5k airbrush 3 looks and both packages are with unlimited touch up na. December 2014 naman ako nag inquire dyan.

My HMUA naman is Christine "Khite" Bautista and since lahat halos ng friends ko ay hmua din yan before pa ko kinasal, derecho wedding na kami haha hindi na ko nagpa trial sa kanya but as far as I know 2.5k traditional and 3.5k airbrush, I guess with 2 looks din yun. Message mo na lang sila sis. Ayan lang alam kong rates kasi sila lang pinagpilian ko. Sana nakatulong.

He's really kind and helpful. During our boracay shoot, our call time was 4:15 am haha. Dumating lang siya mga 4:25 because walang dumadaan na tricycle that time magkaiba kasi kami ng resort. Then wala kami stylist and assts noon so parang siya na nag assist samin like taga dala ng gamit and taga sara or bukas ng dress. Sa sofitel, on time din siya ako yung late kasi nagbreakfast pa ako. Medyo mabagal lang siya mag makeup (esp. Sa kilay pero malinis magkilay kaya matagal) pero i guess lahat ganun kasi even my HMUA on my wedding (not andrew) matagal din. Kaya nga maaga sila lagi dumadating maaga ko kasi nabook yung wedding HMUA ko kaya di ko nabook si andrew. He was about to do my entourage kaso booked narin siya for my wedding last year super sayang love din siya ng mga sisters ko kasi galing din mag hairstyle eh (my family was with me kasi nung boracay shoot and they were observing andrew, napakabait daw and matyaga... Knowing im super arte haha)


Hello sis sparklingjewel. You might wanna try Andrew no oot fee siya. Same rate 5k 3 looks airbrush, just shoulder his food transo and accommodation if you want natural makeup just tell him. Ako kasi preferred ko yung alam kong nakamakeup ako compared sa no make up look and i like korean style na parang dewy kaya yun nirequest ko ahahaha.


To all our sisses, please emphasize to your HMUA their call time. PLEASE. You do not want to skip prep photos or portraits just because your supplier is late. Or you dont wanna have a photo with your dark circles screaming haha! So always reinforce your HMUAs call time (and of course, the other suppliers as well hehe)
