kakachat ko lang kay eds go. hindi pa daw sya tumatanggap ng 2016... January 2016 pa lang daw. So malamang may balak itong mag increase pa lalo ng rates. Hay hay. Ang gulo ng reviews kay nini, super mixture of okay at horror... Wala bang kapresyo nya na chill lang? Hehe

 I dont think thats the reason why di pa sya tumatanggap ng 2016 brides. Since she started naman ganun nama rule nya never naman nagbago

Question lang, yung main HMUA kasi namin ay magdadala ng team niya. so binook namin siya kasi maganda ang gawa niya. pero after ata nila mamakeupan lahat ng ento ay aalis na siya so yung isang kasama na niya ang magsstay for the second look etc.

Ang gusto ko kasi siya ang mag ayos ng 2nd look ni b2b.

Bro talk to your hmua.. on the first place you booked them to get the service  of the main hmua at hindi yung assistant.  Parang di mo namaximize services nya non.. usually siguro may 2nd event sila kya nagmamadaling umalis..

Its more of scheduling rin naman not only because magtataas sila. Some siguro ganun ang reason but some rin naman because they also need personal time off for their families. Of course may family rin naman yung mga hmua, some of them kahit papaano nagi sched ng vacation nila kahit 3 days man lang with their family.

Like december, di nga namin nakasama ng matagal sister ko kasi 26 may early call sya. So 5 pa lang umalis na. Then 24 may trial make up rin sila.

Yup, fair enough. However, most brides naman inquire about the 2016 rates just to get an idea.  So why advise the bride to inquire again by third quarter if same lang naman pala the rates. Even I would think, mag increase talaga sila.

It's not based mainly on our opinions sis. We've  encountered a couple of suppliers na nagtataas talaga ng rates during those times of the year.. dahil mas madaming bookings.

yes sis. pero the file I sent you are her 2014 rates. You inquire nalang about her most recent one. if mag increase man the hmua's,  it's not that much I think.

^ to be fair, i think its okay for some suppliers to decline bookings for weddings na more than a year away pa, especially sa case ng makeup artists cause they can't really increase naman that much. unlike let's say sa mga p/v na okay lang maka-avail ng price lock.

maybe if you just want to get an idea, specifically ask for the current rates na lang and expect an increase by then. inquiry lang naman or just tell them your wedding is some date sooner. they have no way of verifying it anyway;)

do you have any recommendation na HMU na airbrush gamit? magkano kaya sya nagra-range? meron kaya P1,500-2k lang? hehe

^sis, based on my research wala pa ako nakitang airbrush na ganyan price range. Lowest na nakita ko 7k.

For my personal taste i like nini's make up kasi hindi din ako sanay na super dami at kapal ng nilalagay na make up sa face ko everyday i only use organic bb cream and organic cheek tint

^sis, the wedding i attended last year, ako yung maid of honor, 1k-2k yung kanya, then 800 yung traditional. Forgot the exact price nung air brush kasi traditional pinagawa ko.. It's hair and makeup by nadine, search mo sa FB sis

yung una kong kukunin dapat na makeup artist gave me a rate of 7k (bride + 2 heads)  all airbrush.  Yes given na he/she gave us a family friend discount, pero hindi ko kinuha kase ang hirap mag schedule ng trial make up with him, laging hindi available... well given na mejo in demand daw sha sa Cavite and Tagaytay areas... pero  nakaka worry lang kase baka magkaroon kami ng problema sa schedule nya on the day of the wedding pag ganyan sha ng ganyan. So we decided not to risk it and we booked somebody else na recommended naman ng OTD namin. 

Meron naman kami ininquire na make-up artist (kita namin sa Wedding Suppliers Philippines fb page) 8k and he's actually pretty good! pero when I inquired, ang rate nya daw for Tagaytay is 12k (so additional 4k i guess for OOT) pero kelangan pa ihatid sundo  tapos wala pa daw second look un.. exxxagg lang sa presyo.  ktnxbye kame sa kanya.

Hi sis dcpdane!  Nung nag-inquire ako kay Eds in July of last year, she was prompt naman in sending me her rates and she confirmed she does lock in the price.  hmmmm... baka iniba na niya ngayon. 

Share ko lang mga sis, I personally know 3 of Mariah's recent brides.  Hindi naman nagbago itsura nila.  One is my closed friend who honestly told Mariah na ayaw niyang baguhin itsura niya, doesn't want a heavy make-up and she just wanted to have her eyebags concealed (reason why I got Mariah too.  I've checked the porfolio of other HMUAs na pinag-inquiran ko and hindi ako satisfied kapag tinitignan ko yung eyebags ng mga brides.  Malaki eyebags ko & dark pa kaya yun una ko tinitignan).   Ang fresh tignan ng make-up ng friend ko.  Yung 2 other brides naman, I'm not sure if they gave instructions to Mariah if what they wanted pero hindi ko nakitang pinost ni Mariah yung before & after photos nila sa IG niya.  Pero turn off nga yung ginawa niyang pag-retouch sa altar.  hehe!  Baka sis may iba pa siyang booking on that day kaya sa Church ni-retouch na?  Pero hindi pa din tama yun.

yung bestfriend ng close friend ko (ang layo e noh hehe), traditional makeup artist sya. kist ong name. parang ayaw nya ng airbrush kasi nag-o-orange daw yung fez. kung may free retouch naman before reception, ok na siguro yung traditional lang? whatcha girls think? super iba ba talaga ang glow pag airbrush?
