im planning to buy baby stuff sa US din and ship them to my lola in California. She will take care of sending them to me. Pero since next month thanksgiving na sa US, may maraming sale lalo na sa Friday after thanksgiving, tawag nila Black Friday. Wait ko muna.

Im waiting for the thanksgiving sale as well. Ano kayang mas maganda.. exersaucer or jumperoo? Will also purchase my son's high chair. Even with the shipping fee mas mura talaga to purchase baby stuff from the states. Yun nga lang i have to wait.

Just finished my online shopping spree. Mostly organic baby food for my 6.5mo old boy. Bought a few baby toys and other essentials too. Some house cleaning stuff and personal care. Oh and dog food for our 7 dogs   pick up from moms house is Monday and should be delivered at our door 3rd week of November.

Tip also is to buy off-season and buy when the seasonal change happens so you have a larger choice of items.

For example, it's mid-late autumn now in the US so summer items are on sale, but the autumn stock became available around July/Aug. So that's when the summer stuff went on sale and had a lot of items and sizes to choose from.

Winter is coming up so the next sale will be on autumn clothing, still workable in Manila for colder months. Obviously winter clothing won't work here unless you plan on travelling somewhere cold.

The next applicable season would be Spring and the new collection should come out around Feb at full price.

mga sis question lang, normally how long does it take for your boxes from the US to arrive here?

40-45 days max. I dunno now with the port congestion.

sabi ng cousin ko because of the port congestion usually it take 3 months meron pa nga daw cases na boxes were shipped back to the sender :-(

MyUS.com, I agree with vain_kixie, mahal pag malaking item. Never tried US to PH but US to HK, super OK sila. Never had a problem with them.

Johnny Air is based on weight - so the heavier the item the more expensive.

With regards to port congestion - it took my box 3 months to get here, so time appropriately. My last shipment I had PO Box send to my brother instead as they couldn't guarantee my box would arrive by November. Luckily my brother planned a trip home and brought all my stuff - I think one entire luggage was just my baby stuff

thanks for the feedback mga sis! i asked a friend based in the US about shipping here and nabanggit nya na baka lumaki din babayaran sa taxes. what can you say about this mga sis? im planning to purchase a graco playard kasi, tapos if it would fit, stuff it in a balikbayan box with other baby stuff. na-try nyo na sis yung isang balikbayan box na ipadala dito? mga how much kaya aabutin non? super thank you sa lahat!
