Congratulations & Best Wishes, sis Juwie!  Kinabahan ako after I read your review about Emil.  He's my designer and he'll be doing h2b's suit and the rest of the female entou.  Sa totoo lang may inis ako sa kanya kasi it took ages before he sent the contract.  Naka-ilang follow up ako.  Pati OTD ko nag follow up na din sa kanya.  Then recently he hasn't been replying to my email.  I understand naman he's busy.  Pero sana man lang acknowledgement that he received my email di ba?  My entou went to his shop last September to have their measurement taken.  I then asked him to email me a copy of the design sketch na he made for the entou para makita ko sana pero dedma.  Naka 3 emails na siguro ako since September pero no reply at all.  Times like this gusto ko ng magcancel and look for another designer pero iniisip ko yung dp namin.

Sis rienny25 Try to message him on Facebook mas mabilis mag reply si Emil dun. My impression was that kapag ento lang wala dun ang focus nya kundi nasa bridal gowns and suits. Kasi hindi rin nya ko nirereplyan nun about the ento gowns. I suggest na tutukan mo talaga habang malayo pa wedding mo. Don't worry masyado sa groom's suit. We are guessing magkaiba ang gumagawa ng suits sa ento gowns nya kasi anlayo talaga ng output nung dalawa. And maybe sa akin lang sya nag fail. Weird nga kasi ang simple lang ng mga pinagawa namin, pleats lang sa iba, then beads sa MOH. The rest plain chiffon fabric na. When is your wedding? Sya rin ba sa gown mo?
Btw we didn't pay the 2 gowns he made for my MIL. Binalik namin sa kanya and told him we aren't paying hehe. Ok na sana lahat ng suppliers namin sa kanya lang kami nagfail hehe. Parang hindi nya na kami naasikaso ng mabuti.

^April 30 wedding ko sis and siya din gagawa ng gown ko.  Hirap tutukan especially for someone like me na based overseas.  3rd quarter of this year when I emailed him para magpabook na for my first fitting.  Nagreply naman siya agad about it.  Pero pagdating sa contract & sketches, pahirapan.  August na when he sent it to me kasi I expressed disappointment.  Uuwi kame ni h2b for a week in Feb to run wedding errands then next na uwi na is April 23 which is a week before my weeding.  My family is in Pampanga so I might just ask h2b's family na tutukan na lang for me.   Ni wala pa nga din siyang schedule para sa fitting ng entou ko.  Ano sinagot niya sis when you told him you're not going to pay for the gowns of your MIL?  As much as possible, ayaw ko magpaka Bridezilla pero kapag ganyan, it's hard to contain.

I just realized that I haven't posted my ratings yet (masyado ata ako nagging busy sa pagiging mommy), so here you go!

Reception: Water Nymph Marikina - 5/5
Easy to deal with, clean restrooms, ample parking plus the fact that I love the place.

P/V: 24 Frames - 4/5
Should've given them perfect score kung hindi nawala ang wedding pictures namin. In good faith naman si photog and in all fairness, magaling talaga sila. Maybe we're just unfortunate na samin nangyari yun.

Caterer: Patio de Tata Roque - 4/5
Gave them 3 lang dahil mali yung spelling ng name ni hubby sa place card. Naging Lester instead of Chester! Naloka ako ng bongga! Sa lahat ng mamamali yung pangalan pa namin?! However, I was surprised with the set up. Basic package lang kinuha namin sa kanila pero para kaming nag-hire ng stylist. All out sa props!

Gown: Ash DreiCole (divi) - 2/5
The perfect line for this is "You get what you pay for". Bought my gown for only 8k. Nakuha naman yung peg pero halatang minadali. 2 weeks lang ata gawa na agad pero nung sinukat ko, masikip at mahaba (as if hindi kinuha measurements ko). They adjusted it naman para kumasya pero hindi binawasan ang length! Hindi ko na pina adjust yung length dahil sobrang layo ng divi at katakot takot na traffic ang inaabot namin. Mataas yung heels ng wedding shoes ko so hindi naman ako nadapa.

Coat Barong: IL Santos (divi) - 5/5
Hubby's coat barong is soo nice. First fitting pa lang saktong sakto na.

Rings: Suarez Wedding Rings - 5/5
I like their after-sales service. Pwede mag upgrade ng wedding bands for free. You'll just have to pay for the difference.

HMUA: Diane Coles -  pwede bang 6/5?
Sa lahat ng supplier namin, sa kanya ako pinaka natuwa. She's so nice, easy to deal with, and magaling. Ang gaan nya katrabaho. She's like a long lost friend kumbaga. Hindi rin humulas ever ang make up ko to think na nag dab lang sya ng powder ng very light after the ceremony.

Flipbooks: Flip Productions (will serve as souvenir for guests) - 5/5
Super natuwa ang guests dito.

OTD and emcee: APC Events - 3/5
Hindi sila tumupad sa usapan. During preps, usapan is 2 coordinators lang ang dadating, the one assigned to me and yung isa na in-charge for other things. Come the wedding day, apat yata silang dumating dun kasi may isa pa silang client who happens to be on the same hotel where we at. Maliit na bagay lang naman kaso naging super crowded sa room ko plus sinagot pa namin yung food nung extra 2 persons. Hindi rin nila na-turn over lahat ng gamit but small things lang naman like pins and envelopes pero syemre dapat automatic na yun na lahat ibabalik.

Florist: Flowers by Venus - 4/5
Madaling kausap si tita Venus and she'll work on your budget.

Kung nangyari sa akin yon magwawala ako hehe. It doesnt matter how good your photo/video is. I mean if they will lose the pictures/footage, whats the use?

^i think the case of sis o9kristin was that nanakaw yung harddrive and laptop ng photog nila wherein nandoon na lahat ng photos nila. Not so sure lang mga sis. If it was, wala namang may gustong mangyari to.. so sad talaga

Preps: Oakwood Joy Nostalg – 5.5/5
Maganda yung room. Modern and clean. Very courteous ang staff. Spacious din yung units na binigay sa amin. Very attentive to our needs. Comfortable ang 2br units for wedding preps kasi andaming suppliers sa room ko pero hindi kami nagsisisiksikan. Kasya kaming lahat hehe.

HMUA: Toni Aviles – 5.5/5
Grabe! Pinaganda nya talaga ako nung wedding. Wala akong masabi. Alam na alam nya kung paano ako papagandahin hehe. What’s more, Toni’s team arrived on the dot - 7am. In fact it was my wakeup call (I woke up late hehe). Very professional ang team nya. Also she is very passionate sa ginagawa nya. She assisted me sa boudoir shoot and made sure I looked good all the time. I was surprised to still see her after the reception program and pagkakita nya sa akin inayos pa nya ulit ako. Sabi nya may after-party pa raw kami, kaya ireretouch pa nya ko hehe. Then she let me keep her hair extensions na she used on me and i-ship ko na lang daw sa kanya after. She is very maalaga. She’s not just doing it for the money. She’s super happy when her brides look extra beautiful.

Caterer: K by Cunanan 4.8/5
Our guests loved the food! They’ve been raving about what we served, even the PS and VIP guests! Nagrisk pa kami sa isang dish (yung cream dory) kasi hindi namin yun natikman during our FTs, but it turned out na yun ang pinaka onti ang natira. Maganda rin ang styling. Mas maganda yung actual na gawa ni Lori (stylist) on our wedding than the mock setup. Also they incorporated our wedding logo na hindi ko na inexpect, so they exceeded my expectations in this area. I never had a problem communicating with KbyC and it was all down to our AE Jam. Kahit malayo pa our wedding nag rereply pa rin sya. Siguro ang masasabi ko lang na con is maraming dishes we wanted to serve sana, kaso kailangan i-upgrade. So pinili talaga naming ng mabuti yung dishes. Also, we provided a whole tuna for sashimi. Hindi na-defrost properly so medyo malamig pa nung sineserve. Kailangan mag antay muna ng onti before eating. Class A tuna kasi yun, so high quality. Sayang kung hindi maappreciate ng guests. But overall, they delivered well.

Bands:
Baihana – 5/5
They were our main band. Love their vocal harmonization! Super!
Pete Canzon band – 5/5
Jazz band. Magaling din sila. Natuwa ang mga guests lalo na yung medyo oldies hehe and the VIP guests.
Rox Puno band – 5/5
Pop rock band sila. Magaling din. Super!

Lights and Sounds: Verve Pro – 5.5/5
Dito kami pinaka natuwa ni husband. Very crucial samin ang acoustic and ang sound ng lugar. Sobrang ganda ng pagkakatimpla nila ng sounds. When we got to the presidential table this was the first thing that we noticed. Ang ganda ng tunog. Husband and I are both into music and husband is a jazz musician, so maarte talaga sya sa tunog. The sound was so crisp. Yung lighting din maganda. They played with the colors in all the right places. Pinaganda nila lalo yung Glass Garden. So perfect! Husband and I are very happy we got them. In fact we gave them the highest tip. Hindi sila kilala dito but our musician friends vouched for them.

Cake: Sweet Creations by Baked Republic: 5/5
Maganda yung cake and masarap din. Hindi ganun katamis, sakto lang. The design I wanted was a rustic music sheet and that’s what they delivered. Mabilis pa kausap yung owner, smooth transaction. Hindi rin sya ganun kamahal compared to other cake suppliers. We’ve been getting them for our family events for years now kaya inupgrade nya yung cake namin from a 3-tier to a 4-tier for free.

Life-size Letters: Limeworks – 5/5
Smooth transaction din. Vanessa the owner was very quick to reply. I rented lighted life-size letters. Maganda ang kinalabasan.

Brical Car: APerfectDayWedCar – 5/5
Hindi na dapat kami magrerent, pero hindi maiwasan. We got a black BMW series 7 vehicle. Mabilis kausap yung owner (Berlee Yu). They arrived on time, had no problems with them din.

Overall husband and I are very, very happy on how our wedding day turned out. Lahat ng suppliers (except for 1) delivered so well. What's more, all our PS and VIP guests stayed until the reception program ended. Amazing! Tipsy na ako puno pa rin ang lugar hahaha. Nabilib din si Toni, sabi nya bihira raw mangyari yun. Most weddings daw lagas na ang VIP tables kapag malapit na mag-end ang program. I'm happy na nag enjoy ang guests namin. Saka nung bridal march ko, pagdala ni husband sa akin sa altar sabi nya, "you look so perfect today" . Yun pa lang gawa na ang araw ko. <3
