Post ko na to habang matagal tagal pa inaantay namin dito sa airport for our honeymoon flight. Yes, mga sis, graduate din at last! Parang kelan lang waaaaa! Bigyan ko na lang reviews yung mga talagang official na binayaran namin kasi karamihan ng items e friends and family ang nagproduce like HMUA, giveaways, gown. So blessed and still on cloud-9 now!
Josiah’s Catering – Our guests loved our food! Yung ninongs and ninangs namin gustong gusto daw lalo na yung pasta na may mango sauce pati na yung baked salmon (buti na lang talaga we chose to upgrade this fish). My desired setup was also followed without any extra fees. May dumating na unexpected guests pero nagulat ako na may naturn-over pa sa amin na sobra food. We didn’t opt na kumain talaga even before the reception pero the head waiter was kind enough na servan pa din kami food (na surprisingly mainit pa) nung natapos na event. Good deal din dahil nakuha namin yung 10k discount promo nila for August so di kami nanghinayang nung maglet go kami deposit from our previously booked caterer.
Hearts and Bells – Kasama sa package ko with Josiah’s. We chose the red velvet flavor and satisfied naman kami sa design, though simple lang naman kasi talaga preferred ko. Will have to doublecheck lang with my family kasi sila talaga ang kumain nung inuwi na majority portion ng cake. Hahaha!
Smartshot Studio – My sister booked them for me sa fair. Hindi kami mahilig talaga magpose sa pictures ni husband (gosh, di pa rin ako sanay sa term, hehe), pero their team made us feel comfortable sa pagpopose at pag-eemote the entire day. Nakakangawit din pala ngumiti throughout the programme. Hahaha! Nagkaroon lang ng delay sa pagplay ng SDE pero no biggie, it turned out very good.
Astoria Plaza – May kalayuan sa Oasis pero okay lang naman kasi importante komportable naging stay namin. Nakapagluto pa nga tita ko ng breakfast for everyone. Di rin nagsikip suppliers during the preps kasi maluwag talaga rooms so di ko naramdaman yung stress na cause ng overcrowding compared last time nung kinasal ang sister ko.
SMA Weddings by Sheena – What can I say but super salamat talaga to this coordinator who I must say ay talagang friend ko na ngayon. I originally booked her for SemiFull package but decided later na OTD na lang kasi nagpaka-hands on na sister ko sa pagtulong sa akin sa preps. Kahit na nagdowngrade ako ng services, I never really felt the difference kasi napakaalaga pa din talaga ni Sheena sa akin from the inquiry stage until the end of the event. I only met her team that day but they were all very efficient. My assistant Mia never left my side, nahihiya na nga ako kasi di ako sanay na may personal alalay pero I really felt like a princess that day. My aunts-ninangs who came from abroad were surprised na baket ganon ka-VIP treatment sa kanila, di raw ganon kadalasan weddings na nakasanayan nila. Yung aligaga na mom ni husband ay sinabi talaga sa akin in the end na good call talaga maghire ng coordinator (di ko na lang sinabi na ayan buti hindi ako nakinig sa yo, haha!) Very polite and to quote, “edukada” daw ang team members, di ko alam why pero yun ang term nya. Even my cousin na nagserve as emcee said na if not for Sheena assisting him throughout the programme e naoverwhelm na sya sa kaba kasi first time nya maghost ng wedding. Di ko na lang talaga alam pano nila na-manage yung dumating na unexpected guests dahil sa mga pasaway kong kamag-anak kasi alam ko talaga sakto lang tables e pero nalaman ko na lang to after the event na. Di na nila ako inabala dito. Everything na inendorse namin sa kanila ng sister ko, naexecute. Overall, naenjoy talaga naming ni husband ang wedding ko.
Oasis Garden – My AE Jamie was very prompt sa queries from the start. Though I don’t recall seeing her on that day of the wedding pero okay lang wala naman kasi naging issue sa venue so I guess sa coordinator at caterer na sya nagpakita. Convenient talaga location for our guests kasi central sya, some came from the south and others sa north. Venue only rental lang kinuha namin so I guess kaya wala din masyado naging restrictions.
ClintCarl Flowershop – Overall, I’d hire them again for their rates and setup na ginawa sa garden ceremony. Mabait din kausap si Ate Leia. Medyo nadisappoint lang ako slight sa bouquet ko kasi di nasunod exactly napag-usapan pero turned out maganda pa din naman. Di rin naman ako masyado nagpaka-particular sa bulaklak kasi.
Urbanista Invitations – Nagchange ako ng supplier last minute kasi the first one we got nakatatlong revisions na di pa rin makuha gusto ko, ewan ko ba napakasimple lang naman. Urbanista got it sa first try pero dahil hapit na, nadelay distribution ko ng invitations sa karamihan ng guests as in yung iba a day before na nila nareceive.
Lastly, thank you to Girltalk at sa mga sis sa lahat ng tulong. Grabe, GT talaga pinaka naging source ko ng halos lahat. May mga nag-effort pa na magsend sa email ng sample ceremony programme at nagPM ng encouragement nung nagkadilemma ako regarding sa pagchange from Catholic to Christian ceremony.
