Yes, you tend to be more confident and straightforward.

My friend was leaving our team for a different department; when we went clubbing on a Saturday and met a few days after, he said I told him that he's a big loss to the group and his contributions will be missed.

question to bros (and sa mga sis na rin)... do guys tend to be more open and "honest" kapag naka-inom or kapag may tama? my officemates and i had this discussion during lunch... those who answered on the affirmative reasoned out that alcohol tends to lessen a person's inhibitions kaya mas madali masabi yung mga bagay na mahirap sabihin... any insights?? TIA!

thanks sa replies mga sis and bros..  :)

^^ Of course. Being drunk is a state wherein we can say anything we want and pretend that we don't know what we're saying just to know what the other party's reaction will be. If we get a good feedback, then we're happy. If not, inom inom pa! Kailangan magpakalasing!!!
jtansanco, natawa ako bro sa reply mo.. it's like ginawang excuse at palusot ang pagiging lasing or nakainom to get a much-needed or much-wanted reaction.. hahah!

^^^
korek, kaya madalas yung iba pag may problema nagiinom kasi for one, nailalabas nila yung sama ng loob since being drunk sort of "sets them free" but there are also people who dont really need to get drunk to do so hahahaha
ayy bro, i have a friend who falls into the 2nd category.. nakaka-2 bottles pa lang but he acted drunk so that he can tell our other friend yung sama ng loob nya dun sa tao.. the next day, he said hindi nya alam yung sinasabi nya the night before... hahaha!

I text her semi-often, that's a sign that I like the girl. I ask how her day was, if she plans on going out next weekend, para-paraan na hindi obvious na yayaan para makasama ko siya ("hey, samahan mo naman ako to get my dog's teeth flossed" - you know the drill).

Tootsie, think of a guy friend na alam mo namang totally walang gusto sa'yo? Does he text you or call you up several times a week? I doubt it. :P

Thanks for your answer, @fredprinz. I have a crush on a guy, naka-group chat kame so hindi yun counted. but pag magkakasama kame, tatabi sya saken at aakbay pag magp-picture.

^^ Ask her out for lunch/dinner. See if there's a connection and then determine if I'll ask her out again. I'll never ask a girl (except those who I've established as friends) out to eat if I don't like her.

Thanks for your response. Madalas sya mag-aya lumabas but for our whole barkada. Nagdinner/breakfast na kame, nood movie, bowling, out of town.

Baka he treats me as a friend lang.

If he does something out of the norm for you, that only means he likes you. Let's say sumama siya sayo to eat Japanese food pero ayaw talaga niya 'yun, that means gusto ka talaga niya makasama.

But if he gives you food you like, then after a few minutes,  binigyan din naman niya yung mga friends niyo, that's him being himself. Never assume.

But like what Simang said, malalaman mo eh. But him liking you doesn't mean that he's gonna chase you or court you.

There's a major difference between fondness and attraction. Attraction is not a choice.

a girl friend is asking during one of our coffee sessions: if a guy admitted that he likes you and the girl admitted that feeling is mutual, and eventually something happened between the 2 of you na, do you tend to have a deeper connection/feelings towards the girl that can elevate to something else more than "like"? kasi generally we know that guys can separate emotions and sex eh. will your answer be the same if may gusto ka dun sa girl? she said kasi baka since hte chase is technically over, baka wala na yun sa guy. we also know that men love to chase.

if the guy's like is primarily driven by lust, then the chase is over.

Majority of men like to chase. I for one don't like the "chase."

Honestly, if something happens between me and the girl I "like" (and not someone I lust for) and this is the like that's potentially leading to love, then I will have deeper feelings with her. We shared something intimate, it's a big deal for me.

Unless it's just a booty call or she's really my FUBU then no, I won't have any deeper attraction or feelings for her.

She shouldn't make it complicated and be straightforward with the guy and ask him where they stand. She might not get the answers she would like/hope, but it's better than beating around the bush.

Hindi ba dapat tinatanong muna ito bago pa maging sila or may mangyari between them?

I can say that I love the girl if I feel genuine concern for her, if I think about our possible future together and all I can think about is how beautiful she is, how I wanna see her ASAP and how life seems a little clearer when I'm with her. Not all guys are the same, OK? So we might give different answers to this question.

Example:Ride on the way home via cab

If she's a friend, I'll ask her to text me and her other friends the plate number of the cab even if it's a vehicle from Uber. If she's one I really love, I'll offer to accompany her on the way home (kahit hindi kame). There was a friend of mine whom I fell in love with, but she has a boyfriend. When we had a party at the Fort, I insisted na samahan ko siya pauwi kahit may kasama na siyang friend namen sa cab. She's from Greenhills, I'm from Cavite. Eventually, I stopped loving her.

Kailangan ba kapag bf/gf na kayo ay kailangan ba like as in everyday magtext?

I get the point that the guy is juct concerned pero hindi ko talaga gawain ang pagiging pala text nor call.

Pero for me ok lang yung ganun pero minsan feeling ko i'm pushing myself to be like that and feeling ko para akong nag rereport nun sa knya.

May mama's boy issue kasi ako.

It comes with the territory. Bakit ka pa nag relationship kung gusto mo same freedom?   I require us to do status report to be sure we're both safe. You may not appreciate it now that you're on the adjustment stage but you'll regret it if something happens.

Mama's boy ba talaga or concerned parent lang?

para sa akin nope, depende yan sa couple..dapat una pa lang may ground rules na. sa case namin, hindi required mgtxt or mgpaalam or sabihin bawat kilos namin na parang nagrereport. discretion na lang namin pareho. my gf's a medical intern kaya madalas busy sa hosp, I don't expect her na makakareply agad sa bawat text ko kasi either busy or sobrang pagod sa duty kaya nakakatulog na agad paguwi. I just wait for her to text to make sure na available nga siya kausapin to the point na sometimes iniisip niya hindi ko siya namimiss..lol. generous lang siguro ako magbigay ng space sa gf ko tsaka we're both independent people na may sariling lives kapag di magkasama. I believe your bf has to respect your personality na hindi lang talaga matext, minsan kasi hindi naman yung safety mo yung concern nung guy but more often than not takot silang masulot gf nila.

hindi naman necessarily mama's boy kapag ganun, baka nagger lang talaga mom niya. my mom checks up on me sometimes via text just to ask kung asan ako. when I tell her kung asan ako, she just replies with 'k' and end of convo na

Depende yan sa couple. Ako hindi rin ako pala text. And im not the kind who reports every single detail of my day to my partner. Most of the times, itetext or tatawagan ko lang sya if may sasabihin akong something important. Pero yung mga reports like kain na ko, ano gawa mo, etc etc, is not my thing. And ganun din sya so wala syang problema sa akin being like that. Sa isang buong araw, siguro mga once or twice lang kami magtetext especially pag weekday, pero before dinner time tatawag na sya. And then we'll have our facetime session before sleeping, minsan mga 2 hrs yan sa dami naming kwento withhin the day. We both have very busy na work schedule so pag alam kong work hours nya di ko sya iniistorbo.

Territory amd safety -- yes, but id have to disagree quite a bit with the freedom. What I appreciate most about my relationship is that i dont feel, in any way, that i am trapped or im not free to do the things i want. I have a partner who appreciates my bein independent and that's really awesome. I still do the things na ginagawa ko nung single ako, same din sya i let him do whatever he wants. I never thought of having a relationship as having less freedom.
