Giving Birth at Manila Doctors Hospital

Sis ellabear, I gave birth March of this year. Di ko nirequest yung cd nagulat na nga ako na meron pala. Baka naman depende sa OB, not really sure ha. Pasecond opinion ka siguro sa ibang OB. Try mo kaya OB ko, si Dr. Osilla. Medyo awkward nga kasi siyempre magkakakilala sila sila dun. Pero ikaw naman ang manganganak so nasa iyo if kanino kang OB at hospital ka comfortable. Second opinion lang naman.

Hindi ko nirequest sis and di ko rin expected. Basta nung kinuha namin yung results for new born screening kasama na yun.

Mga mommies, meron bang may ob kay dra. Rilloraza sa madocs? At sa mga recently lang nanganak via cs sa madocs magkano inabot ninyo (pf ng ob,anes,pedia,room rates etc.)? TIA! Cs kasi ako this coming august.

Hello po! May ongoing ob packages po ang Manila Doctors ngayon. You can come to the hospital or call them to ask about it. Nakita ko lang siya kanina sa post sa elevator before ako umuwi.

I'll be giving birth in MaDocs this June. My OB is Dr. Nelly Dela Cruz. According to her secretary, NSVD is around P70,000 -- naka less na Philhealth, private room, and excluding Pedia's PF. For CS naman daw, it's around P100,000 -- same na less Philhealth, private room, and excluding Pedia's PF.

I haven't been able to inquire though magkano if you get their packages. Parang nasa 45,000/50,000 ata for NSVD/CS ward only. Pag nag OB ward, yung alam ko is bawal pumasok mga males sa loob (so di makakapasok si daddy).

For CS, umabot ako ng 120k net of Philhealth na yan. Kasi we booked for a Private suite para kasama si hubby while on labot kaso naemergency CS ako kasi hindi bumaba si Baby. I gave birth last Aug 2018.

I am trying to get hold of Dr. Osilla but since it is still ECQ, her clinic at Manila Doctor's tells me that I should try calling back since their clinic opening is still until further notice. I just found out that I am pregnant a week ago and I am running 8 weeks. Hubby and I are excited and terrified at the same time.

Would you have any information how I can contact her outside of her clinic? Or how I can reach her secretary?

Hi sis! dr. Osilla is really good. Saka she takes care of her patients well. Okay na okay rin sya mag-explain ng bagay bagay kahit matanong. Mister ko kasi ang dami educated question pag sa check up.

70k less philhealth mga 65k yata. Nsd kasi eh. Oo mura lang pf ni doc Osilla, 10k tapos kay Dr. Alon-Chua 5k okay tandem nila, saka mapapanatag ka. 😊

Congrats! May I ask how you are doing your prenatal consult during this lockdown? I'm trying to get hold of my OBGYN and yet the info at Madocs tells me that they will just get my info and wait for my OBGYN's call. It's been a week already hehe

Also do you have news regarding their RT PCR testing for women who are about to give birth? Is this also being practiced daw ba in madocs?

Same po tayo ng OB. I'll be giving birth this August. My last check up was last week and I also asked Dr. Nelly for maternity package. Yan din yung  ranges na sinabi nya na amount. Pero magtataas pa raw due to pandemic. Lahat daw kasi sila naka full PPE during labor and delivery and cost will be added pa sa bill.

You have to have an appointment first with the secretary. In my case, a week before the check up ako nagpasched. They will not entertain walk ins eh, sa guard pa lang papakita mo na yung appointment sent to your email.

@pineapplejuice26 I contact my OB-GYN for appointments mainly through her secretary. Dr. Nelly Dela Cruz opened her clinic starting May 18. Kelangan magpa online appointment. MaDocs will email you na approved appointment mo and you have to show this email sa guards and sa triage team sa UN entrance. Once you're cleared to enter, you go to the information desk to get a laminated caed indicating saang building/floor ka pupunta. Ushers will guide you all the way.

With regard to RT- PCR testing, Dr. Nelly told me they aren't requiring it pa naman for expectant mothers. However, moms with near term pregnancies are required to be on strict quarantine until delivery. Pati mga kasama sa bahay as much as possible daw naka quarantine. During our weekly appointments, she makes sure to remind me about this.

UPDATE: I was informed by Dr.Nelly this morning that MaDocs OB-GYN Department decided yesterday, June 15, that all women with term pregnancies must now undergo RT-PCR swab testing before delivery. If nag labor daw before lumabas results, they have naman an isolation labor room. Testing will be done at the OGC. I'm on my way there now as I am already 38+3.

I was on vacation when my water broke there and it was one of the best delivery services that I've experienced, keep in mind that I have four kids. It was kind of an emergency and there were a lot of complications that I don't want to get into on the internet cause itțs just not the place for such stories, but I was already having trouble finding a name for my newborn and wanted something unique, being a rainbow baby and all. I ended up with my son having his middle name be the name of the doctor that was with us through it all and his first name was something super unique that I got from searching online, found it on here https://babycute.info/ I'm really happy with the names of my baby.

Hello mga sis meron na ba nanganak dito recently ke doc oscilla? Nanganak ako is way back 2015 NSD with Epidural anes sa takot ko sa pain. I was in private room pero 2 days lang kami ngout na ako we paid 80k plus as far as I can remember. Will give birth this year ke doctora Oscilla pa din kasi kahit layo na new house ko mabait kasi si doc. How much na po kaya ang epidural nya na nsd? And CS if ever maCS ako due to age.
