I cant believe I just came across this thread! My daughter is 6 and I would really love for her to join a TOT event.. we're from the south and its her first time to join if ever. What are the costumes like dapat ba super scary or okay lang mga princess ganyan? Plus, baka mahiya kasi daughter ko!

My daughter started trick or treating when she was 1 year and 8 months. She's really enjoying it. This year, siya na nagrequest kung what costumes to wear.

^ask your daughter kung anong gusto niyang costume, sis para maenjoy niya. no need to wear scary costumes kahit sa hotels.

^^same age daughters natin sis and first time nya mag-TOT. i asked her kung anung costume nya, Queen Elsa daw so yun ang binili namin. i want her to wear something that she likes and is comfortable with para ma enjoy nya yung event.

^Millions silang Elsa, sis. I tried to present other ideas to my daughter to no avail. Anyway, I just want her to enjoy. That's the point naman.

^naku sinabi mo sis. lakas ng dating sa mga bata nung frozen noh? lalo na si Elsa. hirap kasi pag tayo ang nasunod sa costume na ayaw naman nila. totoyoin lang. it's their day naman kaya bigay na lang natin ang gusto.

Naisip ko dalhin na lang namin stroller nya pag nag-Trick or Treat na kame around Southbay. This is the first time kase na talagang house to house ang trick or treat experience nya.

^My daughter will dress up as Elsa too. I tried to convince her to buy other costumes pero ayaw.  Baka naman bumili ako and she won't wear it masayang lang. Joke ko sa friend ko dapat gumawa ako ng name tag kasi baka halos lahat ng little girls Elsa costumes ang suot sa party.

^Hahaha me too sis. Kung ano-ano na ni-offer ko -- Princess Sofia, Princess Amber, TinkerBell, Izzy (of Jake and the neverland pirates), WonderWoman. Lahat epic fail talaga. Hinde ko na pinilit cus I want her to like what she's going to be din. Sana lang nag-prepare ako talaga. Every year I always say na I will prepare for her costume pero lageng hinde natutuloy and i end up buying off the rack palage.

^ Same here, sis. No time na naman to prepare. Kung ano na lang nahanap ko sa mall and online. Aside from Elsa, she has a Sofia the 1st costume for her school party. Nadisappoint ako sa tahi ng Sofia dresses sa Toy Kingdom/SM. Natastas kaya tinahi pa namin yung sa neck part. No stocks na kasi when we tried to have it exchanged. Yung naiwan pa dun sa display, may tastas din.

^Ay talaga? Shux, check ko nga yung nabili kong Elsa costume. Sa toy department ko din nabili yon baka matastas ng hinde oras.

^The Elsa costume I bought online, sis. Okay yung tahi. Sana pala hindi na lang ako sa Toy Kingdom bumili ng Sofia dress. Cause of stress tuloy. Masyadong busy to prepare eh kaya dun na lang kami bumili. Yung parties next week na.

Queen Elsa din yung costume na gusto ng daughter ko. She's turning 4. Dapat Sophia the First yung gusto, but when she saw the sparkly Elsa costume... Ay, no match na. Elsa na talaga ang gusto.

Naku oo nga noh, thebratinella..dapat nga I keep a very close watch on my daughter, baka maling Elsa ang masundan ko, hehe

got my son's costume earlier He'll be Count Dracula, though mas gusto ko sana yung Zombie pang walking dead lang kaso super scary pa siya for my 21 month old son at wala din yatang size na for toddlers, medyo di pa niya type isukat kanina kasi sleepy na siya, hopefully isuot din at di naman masayang, kabado mode :p pag di niya isuot may ibaback up akong superman kaso ang lame lang hehe!

Hello mga sis saw your replies, thank you! I'm sure my daughter will go for Anna naman  Are the parents supposed to wear costumes din? I've never been to a TOT (except for the ones in school before) truth be told so kahit ako nahihiya. LOL. I'll try to look for costumes nga this weekend for my daughter maybe I can sign her up last minute

my daughter will be going as tinker bell this year. not sure pa if we'll sign up for other trick or tret events other than the one in our office and the one in our subdivision.  i wanted her to go to fun ranch alabang sana but weekday yun so hindi pwede.

^not sure din sis eh. first time sana namin but yun nga hindi pwede. we went to crimson last year but that was a disaster, so it's already crossed from my list.
