Oh well.

Stay true pa rin ako kay DNL. Laki ng tinaas recently. Yung tinaas niya the past 4-5 months, tinaas niya within the last two weeks. DaNieL forever!

Oil price hike soon. So bad news for stocks like airline stocks, consumer stocks, and other oil-dependent companies? Good news for oil, though -- PCOR, PNX.

^^PLC looks like it's at support. Should bounce sometime soon. You can wait until you break even if you like. But if there's a better play, cut loss now and shift.

^
1. Investment houses and brokers are unanimous in saying that market is expensive already. But who knows, nobody can predict the future. Maybe we will break 8,300 and even go to 10,000. Just be alert -- go ahead and invest, but keep one hand on the eject button in case 7,800 is the highest we will go. Now is not the time to just buy and forget.

2. It will depend on what stocks you will buy. Each stock has different movement and entry. For example, if you just started in January of this year, you would've missed the meteoric rise of MAXS, MBT, and SMPH. You also would've already missed BDO, FGEN, and URC because those ships sailed a long time ago. But January would've been the best time to buy HOUSE. You also would've caught the dip in DNL. So iba-iba. There is no one time that applies to all stocks.

3. In COL's charting, the code for the PSEi is PCOMP. You can see as far back as its 10-year chart. Its rise and falls are there too.

4. If your alternative is equity funds, ganun din yun. Mag-direct invest ka na lang sa stocks. But if you want the no-hassle and no monitoring investing -- and only check where the index is at instead of individual stocks -- then go for a managed fund.

5. If you're going long-term (5 years or more), invest in the ones you believe in and use. Para talagang tatagal ka. Or you can just go for top picks:

COL's top picks are DNL, CIC, GTCAP, AP, EDC, FGEN, CEB, MBT, SMPH, and AC.

BPI's are DMC, BLOOM, URC, MEG, ALI, MER, MAXS, RRHI, DNL, VLL, SSI, TEL, AP, and AEV.

thanks sis.... meron akong SMPH , MARC DNL AND PLC...

mga sis please update what to do with MARC

Ang saya rin ng MBT and SMPH, every since I started more than a year ago, sila na una sa portfolio ko.

On the edge kasi ko lagi feeling ko babagsak ang PSEi anytime from now..   ;D

Quick question sissies regarding dividends. If the ex-date is kunwari Feb. 9, 2015 and I sold mine on Feb. 10 and Record date is Feb. 15, am I still entitled to receive dividends? Anong difference nung ex date and record date? Meron kase record date sa COL Financial. TIA!

^^ IMO, wag mong bitawan sis. Malayo pa mararating nyan.

hello everyone!

nabanggit ni greeniestock ang dividends. Naisip ko tuloy, ho is entitled to get one and how? I have JFC and i think dividend stock siya. But i dont think I've received anything pa. May specific time ba na dapat owner ka or minimum stocks?

hi, ex-date is the date when the stock trades without the dividends. the record date is the date when the company looks at who are the stockholders of the company. if you want to receive dividends, make sure you have the stocks before the ex-date. in your example, you should still get the dividends because you still have the stocks on 9 feb. i think the record date is always 3 days after the ex-date :-)

^Thanks sis Ma.Jewel_1987 :)

Isa pa question mga sis. Ano ang dapat tingnan dito at mas importante? Yung Target Price o yung Expected Growth? Ano ibig sabihin nun? Ano mas okay sa dalawa?

STOCK - CURRENT - BUY BELLOW - TARGET - EXPECTED GROWTH
FGEN -     28.00          - 33.3         - 38.40           - 37.14%
LRI    -     10.26          - 13.78       - 15.85           - 54.48%
