hello sisses. i'm not based in uae. buy my husband to be is based in abu dhabi. he is a nurse dun. and he's earning more than 10k dirhams a month plus free housing. would it be enough para makaipon at makapagpaaral kame ng anak jan? given that he's giving 3k dirhams a month sa parents nya. if magstay at home mom ako makakaipon pa kaya kame ni h2b? [textspeak!] pakameng baby pero tinitignan ko lang future setup namen kung kaya ba talaga. thanks

@yasbabyangel, yes sis kaya since ang mahal talaga dito is ang bahay. 2k is more than enough for food allowance nyo since dalawa pa lang naman kayo. 2k for other expenses - dine out, shopping, gala etc. who's paying for the water and electricity ng bahay? if kayo, around 250 to 350 yun, depende sa laki ng place nyo and gamit nyo... oopps forgot to ask if yung housing nya is flat talaga na sarili nya?

pag nagkababy kayo, most likely covered and maternity ng health card nyo so checkups lang ang gastos nyo (depende sa insurance but normally, 50 ang kada checkup, minsan wala) then wala namang gastos pag nanganak. vaccines, free ang vaccines sa SEHA clinics. Milk - breastfeed since stay at home mom ka naman hehe.. school - nasa 12k a year ang tuition ngayon sa phils school (with school bus na yan). pag international school, a bit expensive na..

ask hubby also kung magkano ang expenses nya ngayon para may idea kayo.

^sis, from what I know, kung free accommodation sya since hes still single, once he gets married, icash out ang accommodation allowance nya and usually this is not enough to get one room.

Ang alam ko kasing accommodation ng mga nurses, may ka share yan sila in one room. 2 person per room.

Like in the case in one of the hospitals here, ang accommodation nila 2 sila per room then 3 rooms in one flat. Maganda accommodation but if they choose to live out, they will only get 500 dhs. so its not really practical to live out. Mga rooms dito sis would normally cost 2500-5k/monthly.

^Oh! ayun lang  they'll be needing a flat pa naman in order for the hubby to sponsor his wife and baby, dapat kasi under the sponsor's name ang tenancy contract diba and dapat may Tawtheeq.

thanks sis cosmochick and sis bhey. yung accomodation pala nila sisses allowance lang...nasa 4k dirhams...di pala sila nakahousing tlaga.
sa first month lang pala yung free accomodation. bale parang more or less 14k dirhams sya. kung 5k housing+3k padala sa pinas+2.5k food+2k others. naku. 1.5k dirhams per month lang maiipon namen. lalo kame matatagalan makapundar pala... yung 12k per year na tuition sis is pang elementary palang or kahit maghayskul nasa ganung range padin? kamusta naman magraise ng kids jan kung meron na sa inyong may kids na? tia

^sis, We don't have a child yet but I do know that mas mahal ang tution ng high school of course.

Sis, I think it all depends sa lifestyle nyo...I think kaya naman sis. Hanap ka na lang ng  sideline mo sis to augment your household income.

@yasbabyangel, pang KG (kindergarten) pa lang ang 12k. and pag tumataas ang level ng bata, medyo tumataas din ang tuition nila. pero part na ng 12k ang school bus which is 4k dhs. my eldest is in KG2 sa Philippine school here.

ok naman mag-raise ng kids dito. i would rather have them here with us, at least at the end of the day, i get to see and spend some time with them. ayun lang kulong sila sa bahay. pero ganon din naman sa pinas diba, esp pag baby pa. ang malungkot lang, hindi nila nakikita/nakakasama cousins nila and other extended families. kaya pag umuuwi kami sa pinas. we let them play outside (pag nasa province kami) and play with the cousins whole day.

ang schooling lang ang medyo mahirap dito. sa 8k dhs tuition mo sa pinas, nasa good school ka na nyan.

 - 4K bahay (to stay in this level you need to be creative such as rent a studio, meron naman dyan na nagbibigay ng tenancy contract or you can rent a bigger flat say 2 or 3 bedroom tapos parentahan nyo sa iba.)

 - 0.5K transportation
 - 0.5K fun fund

Savings 2.5K.
Since wala pa naman kayong anak save muna as much as possible. Pag andyan na naman si baby, di pa naman sya magschool agad2 and maybe by the time na mag-aaral na sya may salary increase na rin si Mister.

If you really decide to be a stay-at home wife and mom, you have an option to homeschool your future children, makakasave ka s tuition, allowance and other school expenses, magiging mas close kayo ng mga anak mo and you're the one who's in-charge sa quality ng education ng mga anak nyo.

aww... thanks sisses. sabe saken ni h2b plan nya iuwi nalang sa pinas ang kids if ever mag-aaral na which makes me really sad. sabe ko uuwi nalang din ako kung iuuwi nya ang kids... may option din naman pala to homeschool them... I'll tell hubby about it din. we're also considering na mag-ldr muna padin even after wedding then apply na si hubby sa country na may okay na benefits sa kids o kaya magbusiness nalang dito sa pinas pag nakabili na ng property... mas madame syang masesave if wala ako sa uae e...mas maaga din kame magkakasama. yun lang mahirap talaga at nakakalungkot...

^nag OB/hospital hopping ako sa 3 kids ko 

1st born - Dr. Jaya at Ahalia Hospital on Hamdan street. Nice si Dr. Jaya pero hindi ako happy sa experience ko sa hospital. Pero this was 2009 pa.

2nd - Dr. Huda at Al Noor Hospital, Airport Road. Happy ako kay Dr. Huda and sa hospital. This was 2012 naman. Wala na siya sa Al Noor ngayon eh, even before I got pregnant kay bunso..

3rd - Dr. Fadi at Burjeel Hospital. Male OB nga lang siya and ang dami nyang patients! He has Filipino patients too. OK din experience ko sa kanya and hospital facilities and care were great. Last year lang ito, 2015
