hello girls! any feedback sa Hotel 1915, near Masjid Jamek lrt station daw eh. Maganda kasi feedback sa Tripadvisor. I'm not particular sa hotel facilities, more on security concern ko. Nagbabalak kasi ako mag travel mag-isa.  hehe I checked instantstreetview mukang ok naman naman yung area. Sa gabi kaya? TIA 


at saka pala, someone here mentioned here about cadburry chocolates na mura sa KL? saan nabibili? thanks!

^ sis, sorry pero Masjid Jamek is maraming Indians and if you are alone, I suggest wag ka na don magpa-book.  Try out the other hotels na sinasabi ng mga sis dito like Rainforest B&B.  Sa tabi kasi ng Hotel (at sa baba) me mga shops na rin don ng mga Indians, at sobrang matao don esp. on weekends.

Try mo mga hostels sa Chinatown (my friend that time booked in Reggae Mansion at sa fernloft Hostel).

May nakita pa pla ko Hotel Geo naman near Pasar Seni LRT and bus station.  Ok ba yung area na yun?  TIA

^ My parents and I stayed in Bintang Warisan Hotel in Bukit Bintang, highly recommended din ito sa PEx. Super near Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Pavilion. Jalan Alor is just behind the hotel lang. Free breakfast and lunch/dinner also, plus clean naman siya and big rooms.

Mahal siya Sis, sayang may ongoing promo sila until 31 March 2016. I checked late so hindi ko na-avail.

I booked Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour na lang half the price of Legoland Hotel, 10 minute drive to Legoland plus may free shuttle bus going to & from Legoland. I've checked Google Map katabi nito iyong Hello Kitty World so pinush ko na (*_*)

Love Hotel GEO! Stayed there with my parents a couple of few back. Literally pag baba mo ng Pasar Seni ayun na yung isang entrance nila. Tapos sa likod nila yung station for the free KL buses that take you to Bukit Bintang and KLCC.

May 7-11 sa kabilang side entrance, tapos yung front entrance nila, tatawid ka lang Central Market na. Safe yung area. Merong 2 other hotels at mga hostels na halos katabi ng hotel.

Walking distance din to Merdeka Square at Chinatown. Daming option for food around the area.

Kahit hindi ako magstay sa Hotel Geo, dayuhin ko yang Texas Chicken na yan, hehe.

Mga sis na nakapagstay na sa Sky Hotel Bukit Bintang, saan advisable na bababa kami if galing ng airport? Imbi station or Bukit Bintang? Saan mas malapit?

Anyway, pahelp naman mga sis sa itinerary ko.

1st day: arrival at klia2 at 5:50 pm. So I'm guessing mga 8 pm na kami makakarating ng hotel. Dinner at Jalan Alor, picture taking sa Petronas Towers then go back to hotel to rest.

2nd day: Picture taking sa Petronas towers and Colmar Tropicale in the morning. Nakita ko yung pictures online and nagandahan ako. Maganda din ba sa personal? Is it worth the trouble na puntahan? Then Merdeka Square and Chinatown in the late afternoon until early evening. Doon na din magdinner. Puntahan siguro namin yang Texas Chicken, hehe.

3rd day: Batu Caves in the early morning tapos punta ng Lake Gardens kasi mahilig kami sa gardens ng mother ko. Interested din ako sa Bird Park. Kaya pa ba if gusto pa namin pumunta sa Putrajaya ng early evening? Saka gusto ko din pala pumunta sa Titiwangsa Lake, emote emote dun mala Miss You Like Crazy hehe. Saan ko ba pwede isingit itong Titiwangsa Lake? We're planning pala to take the Starmart midnight bus papuntang Singapore.

Salamat mga sis. Maski kasi ako naguguluhan sa itinerary ko. Parang masyadong hectic hehe. Hindi pala kami mahilig magshopping ng mother ko so more on sightseeing lang kami.

^ sis, mas malapit ka for me from Bukit BIntang if you are going to stay sa Sky Hotel.  don nagstay ang relatives ko dati kaya nirerecommend ko rin yon sa iba, kasi malinis mga rooms and convenient location. 

sa itinerary mo, ok naman siya.  Yong Titiwangsa Lake pwede mo gawin sa gabi ng 2nd day or 3rd day.  Then yong Lake Garden at KL bird park, magkatabi lang naman.  I think your mom will enjoy Lake Garden.  Me mga tram naman yon to go from one place to another.

yong Colmare, I suggest magbook ka ng tickets going there a day before kayo pumunta or check it out now kasi konti lang ang trips nila to Colmare from Berjaya.  9am yong last trip.  I posted it here last time e.  YOu can check out their website as well (http://www.colmartropicale.com.my/)

mga sis, help. ano ang easiest way to go from sky hotel bukit bintang to lake gardens and kl bird park? accessible ba siya ng public transport o kailangan namin magtaxi?

^ if you want sis, you can go to masjid Jamek first then take a cab from there (around RM10-15 cab from Masjid Jamek).  or go to KL sentral then take a cab from there.  or direct from Sky Hotel take a cab to Lake gardens.

Option 1 via Masjid Jamek:  Take Monorail in Bukit Bintang, go down Hang Tua, then change train to masjid Jamek. Take a cab there.
Option 2 via Kl sentral:  Take Monorail in Bukit Bintang, go down at end station Hang tua then take a cab there.
Option 3: Sky Hotel directly take a cab to lake gardens.

wala kasing direct na public transport to Lake gardens e.

Mga sis madali lang ba makakuha ng van from Cameron going back to KL? I already contacted a few van rentals pero most of them balikan .plan kasi namin to stay for 2 nights there and DIY [textspeak!] kasi yung tea plantation and strawberry farm lang naman gusto namin nakita. We are 10 pax with 2 toddlers ages 3 and 4..Concern ko baka mahirapan kami pabalik ng KL. Baka wala ding pumayag na 1 way lang from KL .

^ usually balikan sila sis kasi. from KL ba kayo tapos pupunta ng Cameron or other way around?  If you want to stay there, why don't you check out with the place you are staying to provide transpo to KL?  Esp. ngayon naguuulan sa hapon kaya baka isa rin yon sa reasons bat ayaw nila mag-Cameron.

mga sis, tapos na din ang kuala lumpur trip namin. as a way of giving back to this thread, here is my trip report.

may 16, monday 5:50 pm- arrival at klia 2. took the bus papuntang kl sentral. rm 11 lang yung fare, one hour ang travel time. pagdating ng kl sentral, nagtrain naman kami at bumaba ng bukit bintang. buti na lang may google map ako ng sky hotel. speaking of sky hotel, i was impressed. ang laki ng room pati bed. ang daming cabinets, may safety deposit box pa. hehe. konting rest then stroll na kami sa jalan alor. ang saya pala dun, buhay na buhay, may kantahan pa. sarado ang wong ah wah so sa tg's nasi kandar kami kumain ng dinner. ang sarap at ang mura pa. bet ko yung prawns nila na may spicy sauce. after dinner, dumaan kami ulit ng jalan alor. freaky yung isang male vendor dun kasi bigla nalang siya sumulpot sa harapan ko at hinihingi yung number ko. so ang ginawa ko eh hinila ko ang kamay ng mama ko at tumakbo kami. umuwi na din kami ng hotel para makapagpahinga.

may 17, tuesday- got up early then sakay kami ng train papuntang titiwangsa station. from the station, sumakay kami ng metered taxi papuntang titiwangsa lake. 9 am na nung nakarating kami. ang sarap tumambay dun. feel na feel ko mag emote mala-bea in miss you like crazy, haha. dami din nagjojogging. nagtaxi kami ulit papuntang titiwangsa station. dahil sobrang init na, umuwi kami saglit sa hotel para magpalamig ng konti. i liked tg's nasi kandar so much kaya bumalik kami dun for an early lunch. i ordered chicken curry set for my mother and mee goreng for me, saka cheese and chicken murtabak. yung chicken curry, i requested na hindi masyado spicy kasi baka di makain ng mother ko. hindi nga siya spicy pero ang sarap niya. yung mee goreng, sobrang anghang pero sobrang sarap. hindi tinipid ang seafood na sahog, winner talaga. winner din yung murtabak pero di na namin naubos sa sobrang kabusugan kaya tinake out na lang namin. bumalik kami ulit sa hotel, konting pahinga then diretso chinatown/merdeka square walking tour na. dun kami bumaba sa pasar seni station, nadaanan pa nga namin yung geo hotel. mga bandang 2 pm na yun kaya sobrang init. picture picture sa kl city gallery. bibili sana ako nung dessert na may cendol kaya lang sa loob pa pala ng gallery yun nabibili at need pa magbayad ng entrance fee para makapasok. we skipped that kasi wala ng time. konting tambay at picture din sa merdeka square. afterwards, pumunta na kami ng chinatown. i bought keychains and nail cutters 3 pcs for rm 10. feeling ko ang mahal niya kaso that stall na yung may pinakamagandang designs saka pagod na din kasi ako dahil sa sobrang init. dahil mag5 pm na, nagtrain na kami diretso ng klcc station. namesmerize ako sa petronas towers. 3 1/2 hours din kami tumambay dun. i took lot of pictures of petronas. nainlove talaga ko.sumakay kami ng go kl bus at bumaba ng pavilion mall. sobrang sosyal ng mall, di na kami pumasok, picture taking na lang sa fountain, haha.

nung pag-uwi namin sa hotel, dun naman bumuhos ang ulan. plan pa naman sana namin kumain sa jalan alor. i waited for the rain to stop kaso 10:30 pm na, umuulan pa din. so, natulog na lang kami.

may 18, wednesday- we woke up around 6 am, umuulan pa din. so, petiks petiks lang muna kami sa hotel. fortunately, the rain stopped at past 7 am. sumakay kami ng ktm komuter. this is the part where i got confused. after nung putra station kasi, nakarating kami ng segambut instead of sentul station. bumaba na lang kami ng segambut station at bumalik ng putra, saka sumakay papuntang batu caves. sayang ang ringgit pero charge to experience na lang. dun kami napadpad sa cave na may bayad na 5 rm each. maganda yung cave kaso nakakahingal umakyat. hindi na kami umakyat sa 200+ na stairs, hindi na kaya ng powers, haha. picture galore na lang with the monkey at kalapati, haha.

mga 12 nn, bumalik na kami sa sky hotel para magcheck out. we left our luggages sa reception. from kl sentral, sumakay kami ng metered taxi papuntang kl bird park. rm 12 yung fare. i was taking a photo of my mother kasama yung isang ibon ng bigla siyang tinuka nung ibon. supladang ibon, ayaw magpakuha ng pic. hehe. nanood kami ng bird show. nakakaaliw yung mga bird tricks. ang mahal ng coconut juice nila pero dahil natakam ako, sige na lang.after kl bird park, pumunta kami sa giant grocery. may free taste dun ng oldtown coffee. nasarapan ako sa hazelnut flavor kaya i bought 4 packs. dumaan kami sa hotel para iwan yung mga napamili namin at dumiretso na kami sa jalan alor. wala pang 7 pm nun kaya konti pa ang tao. we ordered the famous chicken wings, salted egg sotong and kam heong lala. masarap yung chicken wings pero what won my heart is the kam heong lala. ang sarap! takaw rice.

after dinner, kinuha na namin yung luggage namin and punta naman sa berjaya times square to wait for our 11:30 trip to singapore.

Currently in Cameron highlands.2 nights kami dito, right now it's raining kaya dagdag din sa lamig.Boh tea plantation and strawberry farm are the only sights na pinuntahan namin.Boh is really worth the visit lalo na if tea drinker ka.Medyo marami lang tao lasianround lunch time na kami dumating.Nothing special with their foods at the glass cafe but for the heck of it you must try nasi lemak cheesecake.although hindi naman masarap talaga.medyo weird lang kasi yung idea na it has a hint of anchovy and chilli.
Tried also the stramboat and this one is really good lalo na at malamig.
We are staying in Cameron highlands resort although the place os charming with a touch of history downside naman yung breakfast nila.
Tomorrow we're back at KL to check more of the city..Btw worth staying din sa Traders hotel lalo na if you get the twin towers room. The unobstructed view of Petronas is really overwhelming
