Way back 2012, pansin ko nga walang escalators ang monorail stations na nasakyan namin from KL Sentral area to Bukit Bintang. Hehe!

dito sa KL sis, halos mga pupuntahan kasi within walking distance from one another, so kaya talagang maglakad (esp. within the city area) plus commute.  Ma-traffic din kasi esp. around Bukit Bintang area.  pero enjoy naman kasi halos malls mga malalakaran mo, hehe.

inaayos naman na nila mga escalators at elevators ng mga monorail station.  pero so far, parang wala pa ko nakikita gumagana.  inuuna ata nila yong area na maraming tourists (Raja Chulan station - going up, Maharajalela - going up sa me Chinatown side, etc)

Have decided to drop SG on my MY trip this December and will just visit SG together with JB next year.

Have come up with KL-Melacca-Perak-Penang-KL instead.

Do u think this is doable for a 5-day itinerary?

^^ Both Sky Bar and Luna Bar are good according to my friends.  Sawa na kasi ako sa night life kaya once ko lang natry mga club dito, hehe.

^ baka maubos ang oras mo sa travelling sis.  So I assume gagawin mo is 1 day each.  As long as kaya mo na walang pahinga at medyo rush ang gala

Can anyone here share their itinerary and budget for Malaysia?

Planning to go here next year, pero ang plan ko talaga is Legoland lang, isip bata lol hindi kasi ko mahilig sa clubs and nightlife. More of nature and attraction parks. Siguro idedicate ko yung one day for lego land. Where else to go pa? Hope someone can share their blog.

^ if you only want to go to Legoland, I suggest you include SG na rin, heheh, mas malapit ang SG from Johor than KL kasi.  Then go to USS.

But if dito sa Malaysia, and dito mismo sa KL, pwede ka sa Sunway Lagoon.  Me mga rides din don.  Genting din me indoor and outdoor theme park pero sa outdoor kasi it depends sa weather kung pwede yong ibang rides or not.

Hi sis @phurple0515, thanks! Hindi na kami nakapag bar kasi napagod din sa byahe.

Hubby and i enjoyed our trip very much. What we will miss the most? The commute and food!!!! Super loved the transportation in KL. Lagi lang kmi train hehe...very convenient. Loved the KLIA express!

Loved also the location of our hotel, Pacific Express. Buti na lang yun yung nabook namin kasi when we saw Bukit bintang area, parang medyo naguluhan kami. The hotel is at the back of central market, very short walking distance to chinatown and merdeka square plus accessible via pasar seni or masjid jamek stations. If konti lang luggage, carry na maglakad hatak ang maleta malinis hotel and sakto naman ang size. Puro indian nga lang yung nearby restos pero malapit lang chinatown then mabilis lang din pumunta sa kl sentral. Would really recommend the hotel.

^ nice review sis, at least me options na sila if they want to stay around Chinatown area.  sarap kasi ng food dito, hehe.  good that you enjoyed, mas enjoy pa sana kung nataon ka ng sale season

Can consider visiting Sunway Lagoon if travelling with children, or Colmar Tropicale if a couple or with friends.

^^ thanks sis! Oo nga sayang walang sale so hindi kami masyado naka shop. Still cant get over dun sa nakita namin na delsey luggage sale sa maxims sa genting.mga 70 % off. Kaso inisip naman di pwede isakay sa cable car. Sayang talaga.

Btw, we got the package sa genting na 70 ringgit. Eto lang yung medyo nanghinayang kmi kasi hindi sulit yung snow world. Sana pala we just got the bus and cable tickets then bought the ripley's tickets na lang.

I have not been to Perak pero mapapagod ka yata sa IT mo dahil puro byahe. Yung Melacca eh pwedeng day tour lang kasi 2 hours away from KL at magkakatabi lang tourist spots. Penang is 3.5 - 4 hours away from KL so baka hindi enough ang day tour, 2 days ok lang (inabot kami ng 6hours sa highway nung last na nagpunta kami dahil sa traffic). Within KL naman, depende sa pupuntahan mo pero kung major destinations lang eh pwede ng 2 days.

Meron bang bus or van na pwedeng i-rent from Legoland to Kuala Lumpur na hindi kailangan ng advance reservation para sa 8 katao? Thanks, guysh!

TIP: Kung may kasama kayong kids, allot 1 day for Sunway Lagoon! Sobrang fun ng lugar na 'yun. 5 theme parks in 1 place. RM 150 'yung entrance but if you book online, RM 108 na lang! Make sure lang na you book at least 48 hours before your intended date of visit kasi i-eemail nila 'yung voucher. Sulit na sulit naman 'yung entrance fee sa dami ng pwedeng makita at gawin sa loob. They're also currently building the first Nickelodeon theme park in Asia which will open anytime this year.

Sa labas ng theme park naman, isang malaking shopping mall. May malaking Aeon store din sa loob.

We will be travelling to Singapore next week and will have a side trip in KL, 11AM ETA sa airport and flight back to SG at 9PM. My friend suggested we'll take the bullet train to/from Petronas to save time but I was thinking of taking a bus to Petronas for sight seeing and bullet train going back to the airport. Sis, aside from seeing the Petronas towers anything we can do or visit which is near the area? TIIA!

@oolong: Awww... Same day na flight? Forget public transpo. Maghire na lang kayo ng cab for 5 hours (1pm-6pm). Mapupuntahan ninyo na within 5 hours 'yung mga tourist spots within KL, including Petronas. We recently did this and for the 5 hours that we alloted for city tour, siningil kami ng taxi driver ng MYR 200 (~PhP 2,400). Eh 6 naman kami so parang 400 lang per person lumabas.

Sa hapon naman, nagpahatid na rin sila sa airport. Nagpadagdag lang ng MYR 100 (PhP 1,200). This is your best option. Kasi kung magrerely ka sa public transpo, may possibility na late umalis (kung bus) o mamiss mo 'yung train. At least kung taxi, maadvise-san ka kung kailangan mo nang pumunta sa airport nung driver for your flight back.

Make sure to do online check-in din para less hassle pagdating sa airport. If you arrive naman super early, hindi ka mabobore kasi isang malaking mall 'yung nakaattach sa airport.
