o ayan sis naexplain na ba ng okey??? yan din kasi yung questions ko palagi sa isip ko...

at sis mxherr5 ask ko lang po kung yung philippine stock index fund ng bpi, yun po ba yung my holding period?? sa mga reviews ko kasi sabi ni sis ikaela yun ang may track na magandang performance ng bpi..kasi matagal na tska sis, yung  812/unit ng fund na yun kelangan ba 1000 unit agad??? sorry sa ignorance ha,, or ok lang po na star ka ng 10k lang?? kaloka.. 3 months na ako dito sa savings and investing di ko pa din gets mga pasikot sikot

@foxylady from the site: minimum investment/balance for PSIF is 5K with minimum holding period of 180 days/6 months..

sis pasensya na kung sablay ako ha.. kung may 10k ako at sa psif ko sya nilagay wala syang unit sa 10k??? tama po ba sis

mga sis, after isubmit yung form sa BPI branch regarding sa application sa investment, gano katagal bago kayo tawagan? pano malalaman kung pasok na yung investment account nyo? ty

^for me after 4 days may na-receive akong email about investment account activation.. when i checked my bpionline andun na sya..

@foxylady.. your question is a little confusing?
What do you mean by units?

If you had invested 10k in PSIF yesterday before
the cutoff, the NAV you would have gotten was
 777.62(i.e. yesterday's NAV)

Then you divide 10,000 by 777.62 and you
get 12.8597.

Now since PSIF is a mutual fund,
you CANNOT have fractional shares.

So your 10,000 would get you 12 shares
And BPI will be returning your 668+ pesos

If this is your first time to invest in PSIF then
you have to at LEAST put in 5,000. If its a subsequent
investment then you have to put in at least 1,000.

You can ofcourse put in more than the required minimum.
Everytime you put in any additional investment, you will
be sent a transaction notice or BPI's certificate equivalent.

They are a pain to dispose of so I enrolled in their paperless
option. You don't need the physical copies anyway.

pag enrolled na sa BPI ALFM funds (mutual funds) and I want to subscribe to UITFs, do I need to fill up another set of forms?

trying to check if i can subscribe to UITFs through bpionline but it does not give me that option..

We have UITF and still monitoring it.

@lgf, back when I wanted to invest in ALFM Peso Bond Fund,
I still had to enroll even though I already had a UITF account.

They have different account numbers btw.

Also, they had me go to a BPI Family branch to open
a mutual fund account and since the BPI Family branch
was just next door to the BPI Main branch I didn't really
push the issue.

Hello guys,

I wanted to invest sa ALFM Growth Fund ng BPI. mas maayos kase ang gain kesa sa Peso Bond and tagal. kaya lang hindi sila open sa investment ngayon. sana mag open ulit. Excited na ako. 

Saka hindi ka pala basta basta makakapag invest. Yung sa online banking, hindi basta bsta makaka subscribe sa isang investment. Depende pala sa Risk Profiling mo. So ako,  if I want to invest sa PSEI at Growth fund ( Agressive) need ko ma re-access sa Risk profiling ko kase Moderate Conservative ako. You can do that online naman at mabilis lang mag update.

I have 3 UITFs sa BPI: equity, bond at short term. So far so good. I like how convenient online banking is for BPI

Yun UITF ko na bonds unrealized losses ngaun. Hopefully umangat na next year.

Nag cost average ako sa bond funds ko sa BPI hanggang
nagka gains na haha.

Pero na redeem ko na ang BPI Premium at ALFM Peso..
Hindi ko kayang sikmurahin ang matagal at paminsang
malaking paper loss sa bond funds.

Ang naiiwang bond fund ko is ABF Phil.

Gusto ko na i redeem un ipinasok ko sa ALMF peso bond. sobrang bagal.. kaya lang talo pa ako. Hindi ko pa bawi ang fee. ang tagal tagal na nun eh.
