Fighting for your man
« on: August 21, 2014, 10:07:49 pm »
This is distracting me lately. We are in a long-distance for almost 3 yrs. he gets to go home yearly and I can say, we are doing good. However, recently he met with his ex-gf (online) 1st time they met in person. Also, this the same girl who have caused issues with us bec she claims there was no closure between them. But my bf then made me feel secured and told her during our confe chat that I am the one he loves. So going back, when they finally met, things starts to change. My bf admitted now that he sort of confused, I hope it's not a change of heart. And definitely I will fight for our relationship. But when is enough? honestly, in an instant i don't feel very secured. Appreciate to hear some enlightenment.

Ay oo nga ang tagal na pala nito. If I were in your shoes though at sinabi sa'kin ng bf ko na confused siya, then I will tell him I'm giving him space to sort out his feelings, instead of just standing beside him waiting for him to realize sino ba talaga ang gusto niya. Minsan kasi pag ganyan dapat chinachallenge din sila para alam nila na di ka willing maghintay lang.

If they are able to physically be together, unlike you who's far away --  tatayaan ko his ex.  Let's be realistic -- it is very hard to ignore a warm, willing & ready body. Just saying.

Don't fight, if they are physically together -- all you can do is wait, ma-boink! Sya & gets back to you. Pero Teka, Teka -- why wait around for a man confused about where his heart belongs?

Only you can say when it's time to give up, depende sa ano pa pakita nya sa yo, pano pa he will make you unhappy/insecure; at hanggang saan your capacity to hope, fight & suffer.

Just take care of yourself.  Know the difference between fighting for something worth your time & effort, vs fighting for a lost cause.

it depends. pakiramdaman mo si bf kung may pag asa pa na maayos kayo or he's just holding on to you dahil kailangan nya ng fallback in case hindi sila mag workout nung isang girl. hindi pwedeng pantay ang tingin nya sa inyong dalawa. meron at meron mangunguna. dun pa lang kelangan na nya mamili. i know it's difficult and heartbreaking but just be glad na lang na nangyari yan na hindi pa kayo married. kasi it will be a different story pag kasal na.
