Passport Thread 10 (Check 1st page for DFA links)

mababait ang mga taga DFA Megamall, nag renew ako ng passport and ang appointment ko is 10AM, super bilis ng pag process

Thanks sa info @chicafabulosa, bukas pa lang pupunta si mother ko sa DFA dun sa Pangasinan branch para mag apply ng new  passport nya. Buti senior na sya at wala na palang appointment at pila. May idea ka ba pag provincial area mag aaply ng passport matatagalan ang pag released ng passport nya? Or parehas lang din sa Manila area na 15 days? Bago makuha ang passport? TIA.

^good to know sis na mababait dfa sa megamall doon kasi kami kumuha ng appointment for renewal.may i ask na din if no need na ba talaga ng nso birth certificate ?.para di na ako oorder online

@anewme alam ko sis parehas lang. Aunt ko sa Iloilo naman kumuha. 17 days nareceive na nya. Understandable naman kasi 15 days release then at least 2 days before madeliver sa courier so okay na rin. Ganun rin naman sa akin dito sa manila, may delay lang ng 2 days.

Take note meron silang waiver pinapa-sign na in case of delay of releasing you're aware of this.

No need na sis. You can even renew with your child if you like

I'll be updating my civil status to married plus adopting my husband's surname. Do I need other IDs that have my husband's surname na? As of now, I dont have any ID that carries my new last name. Will the MC from NSO be enough?

Na-excite din ako magrenew ng pp because of the new design and better security features. pero mas gusto ko kung talagang extended na ang validity.

applied in DFA megamall last july 30.  got the passport through LBC ng august 11.  naka-leave nga ako nung time na yun pero iniwan nila sa receptionist namin. hindi na yata kailangan ng authorization letter kapag hindi ikaw ang kukuha.

Hi sis! I just brought the NSO copy of our MC plus the NSO copy of my birth certificate (to be sure) and na-change naman yung passport ko to my new last name (husband's). Hope this helps.

To those who wants to get a passport for babies, don't forget photocopies of your passports (you and your husband) or a copy of your marriage certificate.  And don't forget NSO copy, not the certificate of live birth.  Sayang we were at DFA Mega na only to be sent home kasi kulang, NSO na pala dapat.
