mine is yung unang appointment na naschedule ko, hindi ko napuntahan, a few weeks later ako nagsetup ng appointment ulit, same email, wala naman naging problema

So it means cancelled na yung first appointment mo sis. Pero kasi kung existing pa sa system hindi tinatangap ang bago appointment schedule na gusto unless you use different email add. Just my experience.

My experience naman, yung nabanggit ko nga. Same emaill address ginamit ko. Lumabas sa huli yung previous appointment (nag-mock book ako. Nawala sa isip ko na pag pili mo ng date eh yun na. Akala ko may confirmation pa sa huli haha) and current appointment na ginawa ko then pinapili ako dun sa 2.

sissies question, for claiming of passports pwede ba sya i-claim anytime? hindi ko kasi pinadeliver yun amin ni baby. so pipick up ko nalang this friday. wala naman nakalagay na specific time for pick up sa receipt so i think pwede naman anytime noh?

^kahit anong oras pwede basta for releasing na yung passport on or after the specific date ☺

If it's an e-passport for renewal, one just has to bring original e-passport and photocopy of page 2 (data page).  Does this apply to minors renewing their e-passport?  Do I need to bring birth cert, yearbook (because he doesn't have a school issued ID)?

^bettiney - my son renewed his. They didnt get the birth certificate nya but.... He has a school id na kasi then xerox my passport rin and my ids. But since wala pa syang id, maybe you can just present his birth certificate in case.

Here's what I got from dfa website

For minor applicants who never attended school, a Notarized Affidavit of Explanation executed by either parent (if minor is a legitimate child) / by mother (if minor is an illegitimate child) detailing the reasons why the child is not in school, is required

Thanks, Chicafabulosa.  I do have a photocopy of my child's birth certificate (as well as the original) on hand, just in case.  I also made copies of my valid ID's.

question naman mga sis, paparenew kasi ako ng passport then kukuha ko na rin ng (new) passport for my 2 kids, since requirement ang PSA MC kailangan ba 3 copy pa na MC iprovide ko? or puede na one PSA copy lang tapos paphotocopy ko na lang? thanks

No problem sis. But if your son is studying sis, maybe you can ask a certification from the school also to certify na student nila yung kid mo. Kasi if a certain age na yung kid and di pa nag aaral alam ko hinihingan nila ng notarized explanation why di pag nagi school si baby.

my hubby is a govt employee. we want to go to the express lane for govt employees.. do we still need to make an online appointment? we will still bring the required documents for processing.

how to go about this?

I think for courtesy lane all you need is an id as proof. Like my mom senior no need to set an apoointment. We just went there, show them her senior citizen id then the application form.

Mga sis hindi na daw tinatanggap yung NSO birth certificate, kelangan daw yung sa PSA na or atleast 6 mos mo pa lang nakukuha?how true is this?

hope someone answers query above kase old issue na din un NSO certified birth certs na hawak namin.. hassle naman if you need new ones..

Best sis is try to be there ng early. Mom ko sa Megamall nagparenew. As for the birth certificate, as long as sa nso galing okay lang. Kasi my aunt got her passport last Jan sabay sa amin ni baby. Her birth certificate is like 3 years ago na nya nakuha pero Megamall still honored it naman. Siguro kasi kahit naman new yun wala naman mababago sa information from the old ones di ba..

^Exactly sis, hindi ko nga magets bat kailngan irenew-birth certifictae irerenew?the heck yun kasi sinabi sa officemate ko, sobrang pamemera na nila.

I agree. But so far, Megamall honored naman yung three year old birth certificate ng aunt ko last January. Baka narealize nila useless to keep on requesting new birth certificate. But if its renewal naman no need na for birth certificate. Just two valid IDs.

Govt Express Lane naman daw is at DFA office in pasay city near the S&R Aseana..

No probs. But then again its all the same lang naman daw according to my friend. (Just asked her since her dad is a politician). She even told me, if di naman nagmamadali mas okay pa daw mag pa appointment since mas comfy daw sa malls haha
