^Deliver. Less hassle. I used 2go kasi I've been reading stories with LBC na released na yung passport yet after 2-3 days pa bago na-deliver. Maraming complaints with LBC.

Naku sis before sa LBC ako, madre mio nasa ASEANA na yung passport ko, di pa dinideliver. So ang naging ending I have to pick it up. At that time parang LBC lang naging option kasi sa akin. I am glad meron ng 2go. btw, wala bang delay sila sa delivery?

Renewed my passport last Tuesday (9:30AM schedule) and I was done by mga 10:40AM. I changed my name to my married name na and wala naman akong na-encounter na issues whatsoever. I still prefer the earliest time possible kaso, puno na talaga.

Chinika ko si kuya (picture taking) and asked about the dress code kase in my mind required ang collared top, hindi naman pala. Basta wag lang daw sleeveless/spag straps/sando.

Sabi sa'kin ang delivery date is supposedly 1 day after the published release date for the day. Nov 4 release date nung akin, so dapat by Nov 5 made-deliver na.

Girls, question. Kapag ba kasama si baby need at kukunan ko din sya ng passporr need ko pa bang magpa appointment? Kasi di ba ang mga baby at senior no need na mag set ng appointment? Eh im just wondering if pwede ba kaya yung kukunan ko si baby at the same time kuha na din ako ng passport ko without setting an appointment?

received our passports yesterday. we renewed our passport last september 14 and regular processing lang ang pinili ko.

Yey got our passports last October 6 Hindi sila delayed. Thank you, DFA!!!

MsMafi, I suggest make an appointment online parin. Kasi Step 1 pa lang very strict sila sa schedule.

No need for appointment. Ganyan ginawa ko, sinabay ko renewal ng passport ko when i got a new passport for my baby last year. Sa megamall ako. Better go early para tapos agad. We went on a Saturday, kakabukas lang when we got there. Wala pa 30mins tapos na kami pareho.

@wallflowerxx sis is it new application? If yes, your mom will need to submit birth certificate. Not sure if needed nila yung receipt. As for the IDs, yes dapat digitized

need ng passport ng mom ko urgent and we tried na to set an appointment online pero OMG sa Dec pa available schedule. My mom is 72 years old, wala ba silang rules sa mga senior citizen like sa mga babies na ientertain any time pumunta?

ANother thing, from Laguna kami kaya totoo ba na need ng receipt ng Birth Cert at dapat 3months before the time issued un Birth to be valid?

Paconfirm naman po specially sa appointment setting if pwede mom ko mag walkin nalang at if yes what time po allowed?

Nanay ko 64 y.o  wala na appointment.
Re birth cert naman dapat at least 6 mos siguro or maybe  same year kng kelan ka apply ng passport.

about Senior Citizen padin...anytime/any day (like Saturday) pwede sila mag walk-in and at any branch?

I need to super verify kasi nga from Laguna kami at wawa naman mom ko if punta kami tapos waiting pa or hindi pala pwede or transfer branch pa.

Only original copies will be accepted for verification purposes. Photocopy of DFA employee’s valid I.D. / government agencies official’s Department I.D. must be attached for verification purposes.

Question lang for my 8yo daughter who will apply for Passport.
1. For the requirements, aside from the Birth Certificate, School ID, passport of both parents and IDs, NSO marriage certificate, kailangan pa ba nito? and how to get it?
---  Notarized Affidavit of Support and Consent to travel from either parent (if minor is a legitimate child) / from mother (if minor is an illegitimate child)

2. Husband and I got married only this year, but our daughter's surname on the birth certificate is already her dad's (my husband). May signature din sya sa 2nd page ng birth certificate about paternity. so she is considered legitimate and no need to go to the process of legitimization or change of surnames etc. tama po ba?

3. follow up on question # 2 is that if she is considered illegitimate, then only the mother can accompany her sa DFA. but I am working abroad so only my husband can accompany her.

Hi sis rikki hope this helps

1. No need na your marriage certificate. Just your passport xerox copies since you said sa birth is illegitimate sya

2. The signed part on the second page is what they call acknowledgement of father na your child can use his surname (this on DFA requirement for illegitimate child). But since your kid was conceive prior your wedding from what I know she needs to go through legitimization process pa rin. Kasi now even illegitimate child can use the surname of the father as long as their father signed yung second page ng birth certificates nila.

If minor is illegitimate but acknowledged by father:

Birth Certificate from NSO reflecting surname of father with Affidavit of Acknowledgement and Consent to use the surname of father

( As per my lawyer the Affidavit of acknowledgement and consent to use the surname of the father is the second page of child's birth certificate, kasi sa birth certificate nakalagay is Acknowledgement of paternity. But he said its the same daw.


3. Yes, only a mother can accompany her BUT...

If both parents are abroad:

Affidavit of Support and Consent (ASC) executed by either parent indicating the name of the traveling companion (authenticated by the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General). If minor is illegitimate, mother should execute the ASC.
Special Power of Attorney (SPA) with an attached photocopy of either parent’s valid passport (authenticated by the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General) authorizing a representative in assisting the child to apply for a passport. If minor is illegitimate, mother should execute the SPA.
Original and photocopy of DSWD Clearance
There is no need to secure a DSWD Clearance if the minor traveling abroad has parents who are in the Foreign Service or living abroad or are immigrants, provided he / she is holding a valid pass such as a dependent’s visa / pass / identification card or permanent resident visa / pass / identification card which serves as proof that he / she is living with parents abroad.
Proper ID of the duly authorized representative (Please refer to List of Acceptable IDs)

^ Hi sis! Thanks for your reply.
Another problem is that I am an OFW/ seafarer, and halos walang malapit na Embassy. Nasa US port kmi pag Sundays, but the Embassy is 2 hours drive, and sarado naman kasi Sunday.
Only my husband can accompany our daughter, kaso naman since illegitimate child pala ang status nya, then hindi rin pwede. Or possible kaya na maaccept sila sa DFA if dala yung copy ng passports ko or IDs?

Any other possible ways?

You need the give naman talaga xerox ng passports and ids mo, but maybe he can give it a try since sya rin naman ang tatay and kinasal na kayo di ba? He can just try to explain to the officer sa DFA na aayusin na ninyoyung ligitimate status nya kaso nasa states ka lang. It would also help sigurp if you will give him a consent letter on behalf of you while inaayos nyo pa yung status ng kid mo.

Applied for a passport for the first time last Thursday, Oct 22. Sa DFA South ako nagprocess. (Alabang branch which is in Metro ATC).
Docs I submitted/presented:
Birth Certificate
UMID (Acceptable ID)
Voter's ID
Brgy. Clearance

I brought a Cedula and Form 137 but since they were okay with the above documents, I didn't give it na.
I'm not sure if DFA South is lenient when it comes to the number of requirement you have to submit/present or if it has anything to do with my recent Birth Certificate Gender correction.

Dumating ako sa DFA at exactly 1:30pm, estimate ko mga 50 tao ang nauna sa kin sa pila.  Around 3pm ako natapos. Nagkaron ng technical issue when I was on queue sa Encoding Section but it was resolved din naman within 5-10 minutes.

May Copier sila sa DFA Alabang, but much better if all docs are copied na before you go there.

Now I'm excited to travel abroad!
