^same parin. hindi yung nasa tv ang inissue na passport sa amin. Nag-apply ako July 21. I got mine around Aug.

yes sis ysa.belle, legitimation ginawa namin..kaya nagpalit na din baby ko ng last name.

ang hirap na kasi kontakin nung agent...ewan ko ba...pero na-release naman yung passport.

isang taon na din pala to...update ko lang, sinukuan ko na yung travel agency na nagayos ng passport ng anak ko. Pero naayos ko na din at finally may passport na ulit ang anak ko. Buti nag karon ako ng medyo mahabang bakasyon, yun ang inasikaso ko. Mga kinuha ko lang is Affidavit of loss, inako ko na lang na ako ang nakawala. Police report. Birth Certi ng anak ko with annotation. Additional docs is marriage certi kasi nagbago na ng last name ang anak ko. Nag-apply ako ng July 19, pinabalik ako with my anak ng Aug 12, released na siya nung Aug 26, delivered sa province namin ng Aug 28.

one more question mga sis, pano ba yung courtesy lane? sabi kasi pwede na dw ang mga bata 7 and below to get passport even without appointment.. kung sakali ba pwede na ako din magrerenew kasabay nya? kasi oct. 31 ang nakuha ko sched saturday yun sa sm manila, para hindi namin kailangang mag absent sa school o work.. kaya lang baka hindi umabot ang release kasi nov 30 ang alis namin.. at saka pala, same lang ba ang process time ng releaseing kahit sa satelite office lang?  TIA

^ sa pagkakaalam ko, 1year old and below ang pwede sa courtesy lane. And pwede ka na din sumabay for renewal if ever. Ganyan ginawa ko. Walked-in sa DFA Megamall for my baby's passport, sabay renew na din ako.

Same lang naman processing time, kahit sa mga sattelite offices.

Next year na ba magrerelease ang DFA ng new look ng passport? Sa Feb na kasi expiration..
Sana naman may 10 years na validity na ang passport natin. Buti pa tong isang passport ko eh 10 years ang expiration

Gano katagal mga sis yung release from the date of your appointment? Sa 15th na kasi yung alis ko and not sure kung aabot.... Rush yung pinagawa ko and sa aseana ako magpapa-sched. hope someone can advise..

naku mga sis kinakabahan na ako. may aberya kasi sa pag-click ng link na sinend ng dfa. ayan tuloy hindi naconfirmed si hubby. tomorrow friday na kami naka-sched and alis kami next month rin same tayo sis luna laxa. sabi raw kasi yung release will take 10-15 working days raw kasi nagba-backlog ang dfa with their supplier. super rush na rin kami. paano ka magpapa-sched sis sa aseana? we're thinking of passing through an agency na if no choice.

sis bagaholic_chewy, meaning sis no prior schedule ka sa pag-walked in mo sa dfa sm megamall? i'm thinking of asking my husband to join us para siya magdala kay baby. wala siyang appointment kasi, na-cancel. pwede rin siya mag-walk in and magpa-renew na rin kahit walang appointment?

Most probably naman umabot yung sa inyo Kung 10-15 days until they release. Yung sakin kasi yung sched available last time I checked eh oct 9 na, so goodluck di ba? I'll try with the agency Kung Hindi talaga e di tough luck nalang. Kakahinayang lang kasi libre yung trip.

Balitaan mo naman kami sis after your appointment ha. So we'll know what to expect..

^^ i'm not sure how many adults ang pwede sumabay kay baby na walang appointment. Nung kami kasi, ako lang ang nag-renew kasabay ng pag-apply ni baby.

My husband got in! Whew! Grabeng kaba ko for the past days. Malalim na learning experience ito. LOL. Haaay. But thank God everything were good na. Initially akala ko hindi uubra kasi sinasabi sa Step 1 pa lang na kelangan may appointment, pero what I did rin kasi (and also from one blog I read) nagsched ako ng bagong appointment for hubby kahit super late na (as of yesterday, November na ang earliest sa DFA SM Megamall) and told the guy that since my baby and i have our appointment today baka pwedeng isama na siya kahit later pa ang appointment niya and may booked tickets na rin kaming tatlo. Kausapin ko raw yung nasa loob. Then nung nakausap na namin yung maga-assess samin, she has to consult her TL raw regarding my request (showed her hubby's November appointment form and mentioned we have a scheduled trip together). Sobrang tensed while waiting then ayun, nakausap na raw ang TL and pinayagan kami. *whew*

Salamat sisters for all your shared experiences. Sobrang hindi ako nakatulog the past days but reading your posts gave me so much hope. As of yesterday, October 5-8 na releases ng express passport. For regular naman, October 19-22.

Additional tip also sisters, lalo na kapag nasa ENCODING stage na kayo, read carefully all the data entered onscreen, ours earlier the guy who was incharged overlooked the spelling of my name. Then when I read the paper naman I was supposed to sign for my baby, nakalagay sa taas na for regular processing raw ang passport ni baby (kahit express na ang bayad namin). Overall the process went really well. Very young looking pa ang mga DFA staff (and mga good looking pa)

Me and my 5 year old daughter went to DFA Alabang (ATC), our appointment was 2:30 and I was there 12:30pm, pero pinaakyat na yung 2:00pm, sabi ng guard maya maya daw mag papaalyat na ng 2:30pm, so we just stayed near the area, sabi din ng guard pwede daw priority lane yung anak ko kung yung anak ko lang kukuha ng passport, ako daw hindi pwede.


By 1:00pm, pinaakyat na yung mga 2:30, I am first in line sa batch ko.

By 2:30, sakto pinapasok na yung batch namin, first yung verification, they check what kind of identification we have, for me, old company ID, voters ID, birth certificate and brgy clearance. sa daughter ko birth certificate.

Then line naman kami sa katabi ng verification to get our number.

Then processing, una nakaline kami sa pila ng lahat, then nung nakaupo na kami sa isang row bago lumipat sa row ng chairs in front of the windows, sabi ng guard stay lang kami dun, yun pala sa priority lane na kami. kasabay namin lahat ng may bata at senior citizen.

We were done by 3:30. Ok naman yung experience. sa sept 28, release ng passport namin

Mga sis, you think better to just pick up the passport now or have it delivered? I am still waiting for the December renewal schedule. November pa rin ang open nila.

^Deliver. Less hassle. I used 2go kasi I've been reading stories with LBC na released na yung passport yet after 2-3 days pa bago na-deliver. Maraming complaints with LBC.
