Love it or hate it?

I love it coz it's sooo comfortable sa feet! I used to remember when I bought my madrids they were just 1850, ngayon they cost 3750! Nagrereklamo pa ako na mahal noon hahahaha

no sis, comfy cya. parang nagmomold sa shape ng paa mo. I also have wider feet, kaya super ok talaga to sakin and i think it's lighter than fitflops hehe

I want the Gizeh! Can't decide between a dark color (black) or light (silver, titanium). Which is more versatile? I will wear with shorts, jeans and maxi dresses.

i love birks. ito lang ang tsinelas na gusto kong i-collect, nagpapabili pa ako sa pinas dahil mas murang hamak compared dito sa amin.

^ where are you located, sis? Namamahalan ako dito compared sa price sa US website. Sabi nila super mas mura daw dati pero now nothing goes lower than 5k ata.

I have a Gizeh and a Mayari but I don't think I'll buy again. Maganda naman siya in a sense that the sandals molds into your feet but if you'll be using this as your everyday sandals, madali siyang numipis.

So after one year of using mine, I can say I don't think they are worth the price of 4k++ each. I bought mine sa Trinoma kasi back then, i wanted to see how it compares sa fitflop. Plus, my favorite character in the movie Lone Survivor adores birkenstock so I was curious hahaha. Overall, if you'll be using this everyday I guess you can do better with fitflop or those with thicker soles (Merrell has nice sandals also) pero if you'll be using it occasionally, it will probably last longer. My suggestion is to get a feel of them muna.

chubbycheeks: nagpapabili lang ako sa pinas pag sale nasa P2,500-3k lang sya. im from canada and mahal dito yan kahit na sale kaya pag nagsale sa pinas marami na pinapabili ko.

I got a black Madrid na yesterday. Gusto ko sana Gizeh pero wala na sa size ko. Strict yun SA sa pagpili ng size. Ok na sa kin yun smaller kasi sanay ako sa ganun when it comes to flipflops. Sabi nya dapat wag daw papatong yun feet sa sides.

i think my feet are too narrow for this brand, even with the molds.
when i try them on,  parang vintage snow shoes ang dating.
at saka i'm not used yung level ang heel/platform, front and back,  kailangan medyo mas mataas sa heel area.

I used to have one many many years ago and I can't remember if bumabaho, but I do remember umiitim yung footbed.

^ i've been using it everyday since i bought it 2 weeks ago. So far, di pa bumabaho. Inaamoy ko talaga kasi parang may tendency nga kasi suede hehe. I don't know what to do with the foot bed kasi umiitim nga. Ganun naman talaga pag suede di ba, nagiiba yun color and texture over time.

Nakabili ako 3yrs ago sa Germany, di ko alam na maganda sya dahil di naman ako mahilig sa mamahalin na tsinelas/sandalas ang alam ko lang havaianas until nasubukan ko nga ang Birkenstock. Kahit mahal sulit na sulit, hanggang ngayon nagagamit ko pa rin sya. :-)
