^Don't let your baby sleep from 12nn thru early evening, of course the baby won't sleep at the proper time at night. Try ways to keep baby awake for increments of time 30 mins - 1hour until you get them to the schedule you want.

Sis oreo how many nights did it take you when you had to cry it out? And after that you never had to do it again?

Ilang beses gumising in the wee hours of the night sis? Nako yan din kinakatakot ko. When a baby daw reaches new milestones or about to reach one mas nagigising daw sa gabi.

^ ganyan si baby lately, feeling ko dahil nagsastart na sya mag-rollover.. nakakatulog pa din sya on her own pero mahabang proseso. Dati, nilalapag ko lang, maya-maya tulog na. Ngayon, fussy sya, magro-rollover, iiyak, papatihaya, repeat xxx times. Siguro nga 30mins din before sya makatulog.. ngayon, eto kakatulog lang, nakadapa..

But the good thing is, 6-7hrs pa din ang sleep nya sa gabi before sya nagigising to feed.. then sleep sya again for 3-4hrs... yung sa pag-fall asleep nya ang medyo nadiskaril..

Hala! Pero at least sis she sleeps long still. I hope mine would still sleep through the night despite the milestones. May nababasa ako sa sleep training group on facebook na every 2 hours daw gumisising sa gabi eh before sleeping through the night na. Its what they call the 4rth month sleep regression. Do you help her to settle by rocking/ dancing her or hinahayaan mo nalang siya umikot ikot sa crib till she falls asleep?

Pag gusto tumiyaha, dun medyo napapalakas iyak/whine nya so tutulungan ko to get back on her back kasi di pa nya kaya. Paulit-ulit lang, until makatulog na sya.

vain_kixie, funnily enough, she never cried at night... when we put her down after her bedtime routine and we kiss her goodnight, she just rolls around her crib by herself until she falls asleep.

she only cried when we put her down for her naps... but we would never let her cry it out for more than 15 mins. I read kasi na you should be able to discern which cries are for whinging or nagcocomplain lang, or may masakit, or something... so what I did was to make sure she's fed, burped and changed (nappies) before her nap para alam ko she's comfortable at least... if she cries for more than 15 mins, I pick her up and lumalabas kami ng kwarto nya. Then we try again again after 15-20 mins... normally, she wouldnt cry longer for 15 mins naman. For her naps, it took about a month give or take until she realised na hele no longer means sleep time.

Like I said, we've been lucky with her.

and yes, there is a 4 month sleep regression nga. My bubs experienced this too.

But, she never woke up in the middle of the night when she was teething. We were anticipating nga na she'd scream bloody murder any day then kasi nga we can feel her gums na. But nope... she was just slightly fussy when she's awake (like extra clingy) pero seldom lang ito and didn't really happen often for us :)

I thought pa naman the teething stage was gonna be the worst.

Also, read about the "Wonder Weeks", eto yun ineestimate nila na fussiest ang babies. I agree 100% dito, pero again, once she started sleeping through the night, wala na kaming nakikitang super fussy sya during day time

ask ko Sis Oreo08, saan nyo na pinapatulog si baby mo during nap and night time? big bed na ba sya?

Sis oreo, read about the wonder weeks and its accurate. Nap training daw talaga is harder than bedtime. I am hoping i do not need to cry him out. So far his bedtime routine is effective. And i am trying to establish a nap time routine now.

Update ko lang my baby now sleeps 10-11 hours at night without feedings. He weighs like a 6 month old (3 weeks ago, wonder what he weighs now). He is almost 3 months old and he sleeps in his own room except for naps where he sleeps in our room. I do a combination of babywise and baby whisperers technique. Its controversial but i see my son thriving and my pedia is happy with his progress.

bylan, thank you :) we started training her to sleep through the night by dropping her night feeds... kasi this is the reason why she would wake up lang naman. So when that was done, we transitioned her to her crib na. Nap time, she sleeps in her crib in her room and same thing sa gabi.
