Pre-Cana Seminar

Hello!

Can anyone suggest a place where we can have our pre-cana seminar? Hopefully 1 day lang and on a weekend. Hindi kasi kami available sa schedule ng church kung saan kami ikakasal.

Feel free to suggest ng ibang church kahit hindi 1 day nor weekend.

You could try to contact our Church Our Lady of Mt Carmel, they accept couples from other church to have their pre-cana need lang ng endorsement from your Church. Then schedule nila is 2nd and 4th Sunday

Immaculate Conception Cathedral every 4th Sunday of the month

Inquire na lang for the process and fee. May mga galing ibang church.

Ok yung place, food (free flowing snacks the whole day), and lots of learnings
Ewan ko lang kung ganito din sa iba.

With Sanctuario de San Jose, 1 day lang for Pre-Cana, super nakakaantok lang.

all i know is you need an endorsement from your church tapos separate fee pa ang babayaran mo for the other church you're going to have the seminar in. i remember before 2k ata sa malate church. not sure kung tama yung rate, it's 2 consecutive weekdays per month.

You can directly check with your church kasi kelangan din ng endorsement from them.

We got scheduled with San Agustin church. Half day lang! Sat pa. I think you can request for a Sunday sched as well. For our Sat sched, it think we only paid 1500.

Yes, it's like a couple's retreat. Pwede syang replacement ng pre-cana. We chose this kasi feeling namin mas helpful and mas applicable in married life.

Thanks mga sis... I inquired sa church namin, wala pala kaming babayaran since kasama na daw yun sa fee na binayaran namin for the wedding Kala ko mas tipid pag dito namin sa metro manila kinuha pre-cana since sa Cavite pa yung church namin, pero mas ok pala dun na lang. Half day lang naman every sat of the month.

^sis sa San Agustin din kami. Half day with 15min break in between.
Konting chika chika lang then uwian na.  All you have to do is to listen.

Pero nung nalaman ng priest namin na sa San Agustin kami nag pre-cana, nirequire pa niya kami ng additional counseling kasi daw half day lang yung sa San Agustin. For him it's not enough.

di ko masyadong nagustuhan ang Pre-Cana ng Paco chapel. Mas marami akong natutunan sa canonical interview with the officiating priest.

Question. The Discovery Weekend of Cefam is considered Precana, right? I'm just curious why others would prefer that over cheaper precana seminars which most probably have the same agenda and effect? I just need clarification because we can't choose. Haha. My friends who went attended the DW highly recommend it, but I asked someone from the church and she said they also do the same thing. Help! thanks!
