Ramdam ko ngayon ang sobrang tagal magbook ng grabar, dati 15 minutes pinakamatagal. Ngayon umaabot na ako ng almost 2 hours, pero kung titingnan mo madami namang available drivers, choosy lang sila talaga ngayon. I hope grab will implement what UBER does, kung sino ang na-tag ng system iyon dapat ang pumunta, wala na sanang bidding process.  I missed those days na mabilis mag book.

Not a transpo service but somewhat related kasi same app ang gamit -- i just tried GrabExpress kanina. In fairness, ok na ang rate ha. San Juan to Parañaque courier for php135 lang. Tapos me promo pa, free ang first time GrabExpress user, so nakalibre ako. Binigyan ko na lang 100 na tip yung rider. For the same item & destination, nag-LBC ako before nasa php200+.

For grabcar drivers, they don't receive all bookings that's near their area.. Yesterday kasi sumama friend ko to my place, then just before we arrived he decided not to stay na and just book na lang from my drop off point.. We asked kuya to stay para sya na din ang kumuha sa kanya, we're still inside the car and the 2 of us are trying to book pero di narereceive ni kuya kahit sino samin.. we know di talaga kasi we're monitoring his phone din eh.. so if you think madaming drivers around you, it doesn't mean they all receive your booking.

for complaints i think mabilis mag reply ang grab sa facebook, i can see na they're replying as much as possible sa mga posts and comments dun.

@bagaholic_chewy Thanks for the feedback! I am trying out GrabExpress today! I am shipping a large but light, irregularly shaped package from BGC to Makati. I'll use the promo code din. Not bad yung price for same day delivery. I actually called the Grab customer support to ask about this feature yesterday. They do deliveries daw as early as 8AM. Ok lang din kahit irregularly shaped as long as kaya naman isakay sa motorcycle.

Pag may surge yung uber I've been thinking of getting Grabcar, kasi fixed rate pero grabe ang hirap kumuha ng grabcar kaya until now hindi pa ako nakakasubok ng Grabcar. Uber is still better for me.

^hay naku. Ewan ko na naman sa ganyang kaartehan ng mga "awtoridad". Parang something to do with MIA's responsibility sa mga pasahero nila, na liable sila or something, kaya yung MIA-verified lang ang pwede. Eh ano kaibahan ng Uber sa Taxi queue dun eh since registered na ang Uber, LTFRB-valid na siya.

Excuse me MIA ha, pero may taxi na nag-try manloko sakin dati, ayaw ibaba ang metro tapos merong inaabot na price list. Kung makaasta naman sila sa Uber, as if ang linis ng taxi operation "under their purview". Ulk! Badtrip nakakasuka.

Sorry sis hindi ko maexplain ng maayos kung bakit bawal magsundo si Uber. Di kasi talaga nag-make sense sakin yung explanation nila kaya di ko rin maexplain ng mabuti.

But mahuhuli ba nila ang uber? Hindi naman nila alam na uber ang nagsusundo kasi private car eh. But yeah it doesnt make sense to me either, I think gusto lang nila kumita from the airport taxi and ang daya-daya. Hay nako

E kasi naman mababawasan ang kita ng mga buwayang taxi/rent-a-car na nangongontrata ng mga pasahero sa airports. Kaya pati Uber e pinag-iinitan nila. Kainis talaga ang MIAA.

Tapos me sinabi pa sila sa interview na pwede naman daw magpa-accredit ang mga Uber cars sa MIAA kung gusto nila, para payagan sila magpick-up. Pero wag ka, ang listahan ng requirements and process e ang haba. Andaming documents, fees and permits na hihingin, pati sa DOT kelangan pa daw ng clearance, etc. As if they are really discouraging Uber operators to seek for accreditation.

Lately e nagu-Uber pa naman kami from airport, instead na magpasundo or mag-iwan ng car sa parking, kasi the rates are reasonable, maayos pa ang sasakyan and driver, di ka tatagain/kokontratahin, etc. Kaya nainis talaga ako when i read na ipagbabawal na nga daw.

Well, i guess we can always talk to the Uber driver before pick-up, to pretend na relatives ang susunduin nya. Then tago na lang ang device, para in case mag-inspection e hindi makita na naka-open ang app. Sana posible to.

So kung katabi mo na yung GrabCar driver yet di pumapasok ang booking eh di may problem yung app? My friend posted din na 20+ cars malapit sa kanila pero walang nag-accept.

I heard na according to the new regulations, once an Uber car is registered, magiging yellow plate na. So yes, mahuhuli nila. Di ko lang alam when magsimula ang changing of plates.

^Kainis naman kung gagawing yellow plate. Edi dapat pala palitan ng uber ang slogan nila na "Everyone's private driver".

I think hindi naman magiging yellow plates ang Uber cars. I think they'll just be issued an identifying sticker or something to put on their dashboard to signify that they are Uber.
