GrabTaxi, GrabCar, Easy Taxi, Uber, Tripda, etc. reviews?

I've only tried uber. Since last Saturday, naka 7 rides na ako and I must say I'm very satisfied. Amoy fresh yung cars na nasasakyan ko and mababait naman drivers. I got a free ride worth 300 nung Wednesday, kahit hindi umabot ng 300 bill ko, saya lang pag free haha. I received an email from BPI, may 2 free rides daw ako worth 500 each if I signup using my cc.

Nakakatuwa si Uber, ang bilis magresponse. Nagpa bill adjustment kasi ako dahil nakalimutan yata nung driver na i-end yung trip ko. Less than 20min nag respond si Uber  sa email ko for bill asjustment.

Has anyone noticed a decrease in availability of GrabCar Premium cars? I tried to book to and from NAIA T3, wala. Also tried booking in Makati this morning, wala rin Just an observation.

^ parang lahat ni-lump na nila sa 1 GrabCar (Sedan) classification. Wala na din lumalabas sa Premium sa me area namin. Pero ang dumating na unit was Montero, which is a Premium vehicle..

First time to try Uber last night, and I'm surprised my fare went zooom high, the highest fare I paid at Grabtaxi was P180, trapik at hindi pa umiwas sa trapik ang driver. Yesterday umiwas naman siya kaso bago lang daw siya, yes it was trapik pero grabeh my fare was P252. Balik grabcar na lang ako muna.

Mukhang may issue and Uber sa debit cards no? I enrolled a second payment acct,Security Bank Mastercard debit card, but it was not charged after my 2nd Uber trip. May sufficient balance naman (I made sure of that before enrolling), bakit kaya? Tsaka same type of debit card ang ginagamit ng officemate ko sa Uber as mode of payment so I don't understand why di sya nachacharge. May outstanding balance tuloy ako ngayon sa UBer. Kahit chinarge ko na sa CC ko di pa rin nawawala

Tried GrabCar, Grabtaxi and Easy TAxi last MOnday when I couldn't request for an Uber car due to my balance issue. Grabe..epic fail! Kahit andaming available taxis both from Grabtaxi and Easy Taxi walang kumakagat even with a tip! Same with Grabcar Sedan, kahit may malapit na unit wala padin. Hays , disappointed with them It was around 3-4PM so I guess baka takot sila sa rush hour.  So far, Uber pa din pinaka-OK since they can't choose their clients and they don't see the destination.

^ na-email mo na si Uber support about it? Me mga nababasa nga akong iilan na nagkaproblem sa card, especially pag debit card gamit. Some of them, binubura yung payment option sa account nila, then input card details again, then umo-ok na. Some naman hindi nagwo-work. Sa akin though, i'm using a regular Mastercard for about a year na and so far wala naman problem.

Ang weird sobra. One time I was in BGC and my friend got me a Grabcar. She said she has a promo code so parang lalabas na lang na P70 yung babayaran ko hanggang Glorietta. Okay naman yung car, yun nga lang ibang route ang dinaanan ni driver. I've been using the service for the same route (BGC-Glorietta) at mabilas lang usually. Si kuya umabot pa kami ng Buendia. Ang tagal sobra! Sabi ko okay lang, fixed naman. Pagdating ng Glorietta, I paid P100. And then I was waiting for the change. So parang naaligaga si kuya na he needs to give me a change, he thought okay na Sabi ko, "Kuya, wala akong barya." Bente lang kasi nakita ko sa wallet ko. Sabi niya, "Sige kahit magkano na lang." OMG so okay lang na bente?

I still paid him the whole fare, puro piso nga lang. No problemo naman kay Kuya, mabait at respectful naman siya.

Nagtataka lang ako parang hindi siya informed about the service and even the promo. Yung tipong anything goes sa kanya. Ganito ba lahat ng drivers ng Grab? Buti na lang mabait yung driver ko. Sana lang well-informed sila sa mga ganito. Convenience na rin sa pasahero nila.

Yep, I did na sis. A number of times na actually. As of this writing um-ok na siya. Nakita ko na debit nila sa Mastercard ko. So lumalabas parang may 2 days waiting period for the payment to be posted.

mahirap din pala talaga kapag rush hour noh? kagabi around 7pm wala kami makuha na Uber or Grab, from Edsa Shang to Trinoma sana...

^ yes medyo mahirap din pag maulan and rush hour. If you encounter Uber surge pricing, book ka lang ng book kasi nawawala rin siya after a few minutes.

may surge? uberx? or was it a black car? mas mahal kapag black or may surge.

Iba ang price ng black car? As in any black car, kahit sedan?

^ 2 classifications kasi ang cars sa Uber:
- UberX: the "regular" cars, like Vios/City/Innova/Adventure/etc
- BlackCar: yan naman ang tawag sa "premium" cars nila like Montero/CRV/Fortuner/Everest/etc

When you book, you can slide between BlackCar and UberX, to choose kung ano ibo-book mo.

Nagkakaron naman ng "surge" pag medyo madami ang riders na naka-open ang app vs available cars in the area. As low as 1.2x, max of 5x.

^ i was referring to GrabCar. It seems they've lumped their cars into one category, which is GrabCar (Sedan).

BlackCar and UberX classifications, for Uber naman.

Edited to add:
IMO, I don't think Uber operators can just downgrade at their own discretion (for example: enrolling their Montero or Fortuner as UberX). Kasi Uber's classification really depends on the car. So if they want na UberX sila, then they must enrol a vehicle that will fall under that category.

Hi! it was uberx, gulat ako. mabuti na lang binawi ng uber coz it's my first ride and I have bpi promo pala.

^so what happened bakit ang mahal nung ride mo? surge nga ba? kasi sa experience namin ni hubby sa uberX either same lang or mas mura sa cab.

kanina may napanood ako sa facebook na air ata yun sa cnn phil., ferrari ang sumusundo. sayang yung unang client nabigla ata kasi inglisero yung sumagot nung tumawag siya sa driver, nagbago isip ng client hindi daw niya kailangan ng uber. ilang rides din ata ginawa nila.

there was so much freebies from uber this past weekday and weekend kaso wala naman akong nagamit! hahaha!
