Hi! my bestfriend is getting married next year, july 2015. and of course we want to come, im not sure if ill be part of the entourage but my son is sure na kasali. i don't work, only my husband is working. but i have an online business (obviously not registered) but could support me with my travels. it's only me and my son (turning 3 next year) will be going. makakakuha kaya kami ng visa? would it help na host from canada will declare that they will be supporting my stay? shempre im not declaring myself as self employed, kasi im not registered diba, still possible pa kaya?

san maganda umenter? heard from aunt mas mahal daw ang toronto pag dun eenter? tapos my hubby's brother and his family is in calgary naman, hoping na mameet ko din sila. the wedding is july 15, we can go earlier naman, im thinking of 2 week stay in canada.

before i head of to USA. my original plan kasi ill be spending my 30th birthday with my son and mom in disneyland. so yun pa lang pinag iipunan ko now. haha. eh biglang si friend ko next year na ikakasal na supposedly 2017 pa. so gusto ko pa din ituloy ang US plan ko so from canada ill travel to US. i can either go to orlando or in cali... i have relatives in both naman, pero parang mas gusto ko ang orlando hehe because of HP. so more on dun ako sa banda dun eenter from canada. ano bang best cheapest or fastest way naman to go there. una kasi im thinking na july 16 aalis na ako agad sa canada, para july 18 which is my 30th birthday nasa disneyland na ako. hahaha that's important. pero feeling ko magagahol so i can adjust na lang siguro kahit hindi na sakto na makarating dun. ill leave my US questions to US thread na lang. hanggang dito na lang muna ang tanong ko hahaha!

Taking a chance in Feb and will do a Northern Lights tour! I can't decide if Whitehorse or Newfoundland. Any input from our Canada-based sis? Also parang via Vancouver yung quickest trip? Tama ba?

^Yukon is closer to Vancouver and Newfoundland is close to Toronto. So depende na lang siguro sa flight available. Canada in Feb? Gear up!

Wow! Isa rin ito sa gusto kong makita. Pero sis, san mo plano pumunta? Yellowknife ba or Newfoundland? Magkaibang lugar kasi sila. Isa sa west, yun isa sa east. Pero kita ang borealis sa dalawa. Nabasa ko na mas maraming tour operators sa Whitehorse, tas may lugar dun na pwede kang mag dip sa hotspring habang nanonood ng northern lights.
Yun sa Yellowknife naman, madalang daw yun precipitation kaya mas malaking chance na madalas clear yun sky for viewing.

Actually Sis, sa akin kasi, kung san yung mas may "higher" chance to see the norther lights, then, kung san mas easy access. I was researching, and I found be more tour operators sa Whitehorse, in Yukon. Naka lang permutations ako ng travel itinerary, and looks like it's easier to fly to Whitehorse from Manila, versus Yellowknife. The flight is like Manila - Vancouver - Whitehorse, versus, Manila - Vancouver - Calgary/Edmonton - Yellowknife. Promise, I've been obsessing over this the last 5 days, LOL! Mukhang I'll pick Whitehorse na. I've connected with a couple of tour operators and medyo same lang the package.

Step 1 in a few weeks - to apply for a Canadian visa!

Hello! Just got our visa yesterday! We are planning to travel to Canada and US. Which is better, Canada first then US or US first then Canada?
We just want to see Niagara Falls in Canada, we don't have any other itinerary as of now. Is 3 days enough na to enjoy Vancouver?

Hi sis, i think okay na ang 3 days sa Vancouver, unless may iba kayong pupuntahan outside the area. But if you want to see Niagara Falls (included ba ito sa 3 days nyo in Canada?), nasa east side siya and nasa west side ang Vancouver.

^ hi sis! Are you planning to visit during the summer? Mas maganda pumunta dito ng summer time kasi madaming pwede makita and lots of festivals going on. Places that I would recommend are:

Notre Dame Basilica - kung san kinasal si Celine Dion
Old Port - lots of activities during the summer
Montreal Biodome
Botanical Garden
St Joseph's Oratory
Mont Royal
Mont Tremblant - which is about an hour to two hours drive from Montreal.
If you're going with kids better to go to Parc Safari, Granby Zoo, La Ronde or Mt. Saint Sauveur, which is about an hour from Montreal.
Around June/July - there's the Jazz fest and Just for Laughs in downtown
Around mid-August there's also the Montgolfière in St. jean sur richelieu, which is 45 minutes to an hour from Montreal.
There's a lot of outlet stores in Montreal too but with about 15% tax added to the cost, you don't really feel na outlet sha

I personally prefer Quebec City. Although yung mga nagtatravel from other places they like Montreal more. If you're planning to visit Quebec City naman, include mo sa itinerary mo yung:

We went to Montreal few weeks ago kaya lang one day lang. Sayang nga we spent 2 full days sa Ottawa and just 1 day sa Montreal. Tapos mukhang mas madaming magandang puntahan sa Montreal hehe.

We only get to visit St. Joseph Oratory, Mount Royal Park, Notre Dame Basilica and Old Port.

Sa Ottawa we visited Parliament Hill, and its surrounding tourist attractions, took the boat ride to&fro Gatinue Quebec. Then we watched the fireworks at TD place at Lansdowne park.
