Pls recommend a Lights&Sounds Supplier

^Chili1113 this is mine, but outdoor tent kasi ako. This was Sensitivity's reco for Angelfields.

8 units Par 64 Lamps, 1000 watts each
16 units LED PAR lights (with option to upgrade to 32, but we decided to wait for Kutchie to call this)
2 units Intelligent lights, moving heads
4 units Light Towers
2 units Power Pack with dimmer

Who is yours, LST? I hear High Impact, Sensitivity and Jamsy are good. Dont gte daw JS Mina jologs daw yung sound effects sabi ng common friend natin, haha.

8 units LED Front Mood Lights 3 watts
12 units LED Front Mood Lights 3 watts 
12 units LED Front Mood Lights 3 watts  (Total 32 units)
4 units movinghead intelligent lights
6 sets light tower stands

Thats aside from what the specified for the stage area, and they include a fog and haze machine which I will most likely omit.

Are you still having lights in the front/stage/dance floor area? Because I feel it might be unnecessary for me. The other quotation I got was only 30k without LED screen, but it specified much less equipment. The one above, along with a band setup, stage setup, and basic LED screen was quoted at 70k. Is that reasonable??

Thanks for sharing your lighting specs sparklingjewel!! I think I can lessen also my moving heads to 2 units also.  I wanna lower my L&S expense, although I was kind of expecting the amount to be something like that. But I can feel I can remove some of the specified equip.

^Im not so sure why I have the 1000 watt ones and you dont, baka kasi outdoor? Basta for mine it covers the entire reception area na (40 X 100 ft tent).

A normal LED wall (if this is what you mean) is 20-25k each lang for standard size 9X12.

Question sissies, how many months before the wedding are you booking your lights and sounds? My wedding is on Feb 20 2016 pa kasi. My emcee recommended rejectkrew kasi they have a reliable dj daw and familiar with the nuances of my venue, glass garden. I've asked him multiple times to send me a quote and 2 weeks na, wala pa rin. Is it too soon para kulit-kulitin ko rejectkrew so I can book him? Do you think I should look for someone else or be more patient? Thanks in advance sissies!

Hi sis barbeecue, known si Rejectkrew for being exactly like that pero sabi nila they deliver well naman daw come wedding day. Meron nga raw kahit wedding mo na tomorrow di talaga magpaparamdam at all, pero they show up on the day itself naman daw.. it's up to you sis, why not talk to your emcee about it since she's the one who recommended them- i'm assuming si DTS emcee mo? ☺ i booked mine a year before our wedding btw.

Yes DTS is my emcee. Does she recommend Rejectkrew to all her brides? My coordinator suggested that I get a recommendation from DTS kasi she'll be working closely with the L/S provider. I sent na Darlene an email. Iniisip ko kasi if I should find someone else nalang eh... Waah you booked yours a year before? Na-tense ako lalo hahaha. Who did you book sis?

I know someone who booked the L&S only 3 months before the wedding. Pero risky yon, kasi lalo na kung popular L&S balak mo like Rejectkrew, baka maubusan ka ng slots. Although, alam mo a coordinator told me before that Rejectkrew outsources lang, so tanggap sila ng tanggap even if beyond their capacity tas theyll hire someone else to cover on the wedding itself, hindi daw taga Rejectkrew mga pumunta sa wedding she coordinated. And may reputation nadin sila na ang hirap hirap icontact, which based on my experience is actually true. Meron naman nagasabing they deliver day itself na, but personally i dont think ok na deadma during preps. So mixed reviews... up to you sis if you want to risk it. If you want to book them talaga, wag naman 3 mos before, [textspeak!] minimum of 6 months.

Sis barbeecue, Verve Pro Lights and Sounds ang L&S ko. Di sila sikat dito but I trust them. Mas pricey nga lang sila than Rejectkrew or Sensitivity but it's because of the quality. ☺

How many PAR lamps are you ladies using? I told my fiance about the quotations and he finds 28 units - 8 units back, 8 units middle, 8 units front, 4 units center front --- too little. Out venue is indoor btw.

If you're still open to looking at other suppliers, I'd recommend 5th Element Lights and Sounds. They respond quickly and they're very accommodating. Just want to share that after sending them my peg, they've agreed to work within my budget to achieve the look

Sis, ask LST or your AE sa venue if they've already worked with each other. If they have, ask them for suggestions on what setup would be best for your wedding. If not, give LST the specs of your venue (ad a picture if you can) then send them a peg of the look or describe specifically the look that you want. Ask them if it's achievable and what kind of package/LS setup you will need.

OK 5th Element but some of their items are more expensive talaga than Sensitivity or LST. For instance band setup is 11k-13k vs 8k with Sensitivity. Additional PAR lamps is 400 per unit while it is only 250 per unit with Sensitivity. But I might get them since they respond faster than Sensitivity.

nung nabasa ko itong post mo sis, pinatext ko kaagad kay h2b si kuya elmer, nag reply naman. mukhang totoo nga na 3 teams sila, kasi ang sagot nya icheck pa daw nya kung team nya ang pupunta on our date.

Rejectkrew ka rin sis? Was he always hard to get a hold of? Haay. Nakakatakot kasi kung hindi si kuya elmer maghandle ng wedding natin diba. Ilang months before your wedding did you book him?

yes sis. we booked him nearly 7 months before the wedding ata? basta last May lang, January 2016 wedding. hehe..  April ako nag inquire, then the following day nagreply agad siya sa fb, nag follow up question ako, no reply na so I asked h2b na siya nalang makipag usap thru text. everytime naman na nagtetext si h2b kay kuya elmer nag rereply naman siya. much better ata kung si h2b mo din ang ipakausap? para man to man talk ito.

Sis hindi ko rin alam yun until i met a potential coordinator (who BTW is super well known here and on w@w---good reviews sya) who told me about it, na she doesn't recommend daw Rejectkrew lalo na kung Dec wedding ako kc pag madami silang weddings they will just outsource someone else to cover for them which is of course di ok sakin since si Elmer lang naman may good reviews otherwise wag na diba.
Tapos nalaman ko pa na my band Infinite Soul doesnt want to work with him so di na talaga. JS Mina trip nila pero di ko rin kinuha kasi may reputation na rin yun na sumasablay (i have an emcee friend who's worked with them countless times) and corny yung mga sound effects. I got Sensitivity, which is my coordinator Kutchie's personal choice. Lagi Sensitivity weddings nya.
