Kaka-amaze talaga how far he've come since last year. He was really ready for stardom na talaga...

Napanood ko TVK Season 2 last Sat, pinanood ko ulit Domino Blind Auditions ni Darren, wala pa din talagang tatatapat. Even in terms of success compared with other TVOP winners, wala pa din - he has a Gold Record na (kahit isa sa TVOP di pa na-achieve yon), he had a very successful concert sa MOA Arena, and three soldout solo concerts before that. Ngayon ko lang narealize how a strong fanbase can really spell success for the artist. Darren's fans are really 100% pagdating sa kanya.

Ohmy! Almost one year na pala since the last post here and his first major concert sa MOA Arena!

Darren has achieved so much since then. He's been winning awards left and right. His fans have grown and multiplied dramatically. AND SA WAKAS, napapadalas na sya sa ASAP!

Medyo nag-iba na din ang boses nya based on what I've seen with his most recent performances. Naging mas malalim na. Mataas and pitch-perfect pa din pero mas rich na. I'm so excited with his 2nd album - his latest single 7 Minutes is so good!

Ang galing talaga ng batang ito. Down-to-earth pati. Kaya madami ding nagmamahal sa kanya dahil talagang pinapakita niya din how much he loves his fans.

Paulit ulit ko rin pinapakinggan ang 7 Minutes. Tunog foreign yung song e.

True sis whimsical.unicorn! Some say he's 'suplado', pero really, he's just a little mahiyain, hindi lang talaga sya yung...how should I say this, ma-PR. Pero sobrang warm na bata. Met him personally a couple of times, and kitang-kita mo how well he was raised by his parents.

Yes ako din sis rei_chan! Dun sa mga sneak peek nya sa IG, aside from 7 Minutes, iba na ang tunog nya, very pang-binata na talaga, so exciting! Sana nga magka-second major concert na, o sige na nga, kahit Music Museum muna ulit. Hehe. Di ko na keri kasi makipagsiksikan sa mall shows, ang dami na tao, tapos konting songs lang. Hehe.

Di ko naumpisahan [textspeak!] concert, Galing talaga ng batang to walang kupas. Fave ko yung nag rock medley si Darren at yung acoustic covers nya after ng performances nila ni Ylona at Inigo.

Hindi ako nakapanood. Pero been watching vids ng concert - ibang klase talaga sya! His voice has changed. Richer, a bit lower - and while his high notes aren't as effortless as before, mas puno naman ng emosyon at napakaganda pa din pakinggan!

Naaliw lang ako na he had Jed Madela as his guest - I remember watching Jed's concert series at Music Museum dahil yun ang first concert guesting ni Darren after TVK. Full circle na ngayon. Mr. M was there din daw sa concert and mukhang ABS is FINALLY looking into building him up. I mean MCA is a great record brand handling international artists pero as far as image building for talents....errr... ummm.... Not really.

I read he's going back to Canada for a few weeks para magbakasyon. I say YES! FINALLY! Boy deserves it - he works sooo hard pag nandito sya. Nakakatuwa na despite his overwhelming success dito (Platinum debut album, sooo many awards, two successful MAJOR concerts, successful shows, etc), makasama pa din ang pamilya ang nakakapagpasaya sa kanya. Pamilya tlaga pinakaimportante sa kanya.
