Darren on KrisTV today mga sis. At sya lang ata mag-isa - for a change! Wooohoo!

It's nice when they let him shine on his own like this. Hehe. Grabe ngang talaga, pag pinanood mo yung performances nya with already established artists and performers, hindi mo maipagkakaila how his talent really stands out. Hindi lang talaga sya binibigyan PA ng bonggang TV exposure, pero when you're in the tours and shows, and even pati yung Trade Launch ng ABS - he really is the STAR.

Pagod na pagod si D the past week with all the tours and shows. I was in MOA kahapon, parang ang payat na nya. Nagmumukha tuloy binata na. Pero graaabe ka-flawless ang face. Up close, his face has very delicate features. Parang baby ang skin, blemish-free as in! To think na 13 na ito at dapat lumalabas na ang pimples. The crowd was like 95% Darren-it was undeniable. When I bought the album, sabi nung nagbebenta, sino po bang poster gusto nyo, kasi hindi po kami sure ano laman nung CD na poster? I answered: Ano sa tingin mo ate, sino kaya? She quickly replied: Si Darren po. Ayun  na - alam na kung sino ang hinahanap ng mga bumibili ng CD. Hehe. Grabe maka-sold out ang album ng TVK during the tours. And I think I know why. Hehe.

^sis lahat sila mangha di lang sa boses ni D pati sa skin nya hahaha! di napigilan ni carmina mag gush over sa poreless, baby skin ni bagets...sila kyla and jayr are both amazed kung gano na kadeveloped ang boses ni D at such a young age...parang ayaw na nga nilang sabayan kumanta, nahiya bigla sana hindi ma affect ng puberty voice nya, basta tuloy tuloy lang sa kanta...

this kid is phenomenal...everywhere he goes and everyone he meets all become instant fans..di lang dahil sa boses but the whole package...bulag na lang di makakakita ng kasikatan nya ngayon and yun potential nya pa to make it even bigger someday...the first time i saw him on TV i knew he was special...like what kris said, he really is destined for stardom...

Watching him on KrisTV, and how he can be super amazing when ON HIS OWN. Overwhelming. Nakakatuwa makita how he is so consistently great with his performances. And yung 'musicality' test ni Kris kanina just proves how versatile and easy-to-teach he is. Hindi nya alam yung songs ha, kasi naman super before his generation pa. Pero yung few lines ng song ni Jessa na acapella that he sang - wow. Ang sarap pakinggan....what more pa pag pinag-aralan nya yung kanta. Both Kyla and JayR were praising him talaga ng bongga. His soft tones have improved so much din.

In fairness kay Kris A., kitang-kita mo how she really LOVES D. As in she looks floored by his talent. Kris may not be everyone's favorite, pero pag si Kris ang naka-favorite sayo, ay ang swerte mo. To think na she did say she wants to be D's guardian while Daddy is away, pa-joke man or whatever, means she really, genuinely likes the boy And we all know how Kris A is with artists she likes, mega promote. Heck with a bit more push, she can really produce a mini-concert for D. Pati Bench clothing pullouts, I'm sure she can work it out.

Super adorable sya tingnan on TV, the way he carries himself, very proper, very pleasant. Not to mention talaga namang ang cute cute! And super happy din ako when I heard him sharing kanina on KrisTV. His opening up like that is great, kailangan nya masanay with onscreen banters and interactions like that.

sana tanggapin ni daddy lyndon yun offer ni kris na maging guardian while the parents are away...pati yun papag aralin sya ni kris sa brent hahaha! kris said it na pa-joke but i'm sure she also means it, kita sa muka nya na gusto nya talagang i-uwi na si D

yun nga enigma/charisma ng batang to...he acts like a grown up when onstage that you have to take him and his talent seriously....pero pag offstage naman, andun pa rin yun pagka naive na alam mong bata pa talaga sya...the candidness is jsut adorable. sabi nga ni kris, para syang de-kwerdas na kahit anong pagawa mago obey lang, at nganga ka na lang sa galing nya haha..

Just watched Kris TV... at certified Darrenatics na talaga ako! hahaha! Silent lurker lang talaga ako ng forum na to, pero dahil sa kanya napapacomment ako. haha!

Sana nga no, may gumawa ng mga kanta for Darren, yung tipong parang katulad ng pag market kay Justin Bieber (pero hindi kasing jologs nya ha! haha! sorry not a justin bieber fan.). Pero basta yung ganong level yung kasikatan lalo na sa mga ka-generation nya. (good influence pa!)

I am sure naman super sagana sa pagmamahal 'tong batang 'to kaya hindi mapapariwara.

Nakakatuwa talaga si Kris napaka-generous pag like ka niya. Like kay Pokwang, binigyan niya ng bus. 'Yung anak ni Richard Gomez lagi niyang binibigyan ng iTunes card. E itong si Darren sino ba naman ang di matutuwa sa batang 'to napaka-polite.

That's the thing about Darren, he doesn't even have to ask for it - anyone who meets him just can't resist it! Hehe. I'm sure di yan naresist ni Kris, hindi nakuntento sa ilang piraso eh. Hahaha!
The same way na his fans shower him with gifts too, from the simplest to the bongga. Dahil he appreciates every single one. Yung wrist nya puno ng bracelet, sari-sari, kahit hindi match, he wears the gifts talaga. Lakas talaga maka-positive vibes ni bagets.

Jed Madela also gave him an iPad mini, parang gift na daw nya as thank you for being part of his concert. He also said this sa isang PEP interview: "But when it comes  to performing with people like Lani [Misalucha], Regine [Velasquez], and now Darren, 'di ko kailangang mag-hold." Which is so true! Mga nakakaduet ni Darren, can go full force, dahil alam nilang kaya silang pantayan ni D - at ang sarap nun for a true artist, yung di mo kailangan scale back ang power mo para hindi ma-outshine yung isa. Yung alam mong kaya nung kasabay mo pagandahin ang duet.

And again - so nice to see him being applauded for what he is - A SINGER, A PERFORMER.
